The battle had continued until so late that he eventually caved to falling asleep hanging by a leg with arms stretching down all silly looking from the top flat pillar. It was morning already, and a couple of birds had pirched on a nearby tree and seemed excited with the dawn, singing individually but each really loud and extended.
The pitch began to increase and invade his earlobes, nudging the sleeping man to a dangerous and really annoying wake up call, to the point that unconsciously he raised his arm and a lighting bolt arced from his hand and hit the tree with the birds in split seconds, followed by the sound of the discharge and electrical humming. "Damn birds, can't you see I'm sleeping... " grumbles the waking (and apparently moody) man while he flips down, landing on his feet at the base of the pillar.
He looks around and notices that he obviously missed the battle since it was late and they were still at it. "Oh well, not like it'll be the last fight around, it's a warrior's nature to fight and test each others abilities in combat". He grabbed his sword, swung it around his back and fastened it while eating a really well cooked bird breakfast, walking into the distant unknown dawn...

Quote: Gejogu [ HP: 30] [ Atk: 4] [ Def: 5] Whether Alexander was aiming at him or not, he didn't know. All he did know was that the shot that was fired from his gun missed... horribly. In the distance, only a few milliseconds after the shot missed Gejogu, he heard a bird cry out in pain. At least the bullet killed something.
Focusing back on Alexander, whom had recovered from the fall quite nicely, Gejogu couldn't help but smile. "I have to admit, I haven't had a fight this entertaining for a while now. And I do love a good fight." The last words came out in a very passionate, and slightly sadistic, tone.
He positioned his arms in front of him as if he were in a boxing ring. He then charged with such amazing speed that only after images of him could be seen on the battle field, until he reached his opponent's position, in which he came to an abrupt stop. He then jumped and tried to kick his opponent in the jaw, while doing a back flip, hoping, if all went according to plan, which was something that hadn't been happening much lately, to land comfortably on his own two feet after the impact. (Crap! Por uno namas...)

Quote: Alexander HP: [21/25] Att: [5] Def: [5] He looked at at the dust curtain and hoped it would quickly clear out. It didn't. However, a figure came rushing at him. Grrr... here he comes. The man stopped right in front of him and quickly attempted to do an upward, vertical, spinning kick and land it on his mandible, possibly shattering it. Darn it... I hope there are potions for this. He thought. However, the SeeD had seen this movement before, when fighting against one of his best friends, Zell Dintch. The Trabian grinned. He simply stepped back once and rested his compound sword against his own left rib cage and gripped it tightly as he watched the violent foot passed inches away from his nose. "Heh..." My turn... he though... and along came his move. The foot had passed his face. Now, the enemy's back was completely exposed. He would not miss this golden opportunity. He gripped his sword even tighter than before and and pulled aggressively to the right in an attempt to gash the opponent and deal his first blow. (Well... it missed so... try to think of a way to explain it. lol)

Quote: Gejogu [ HP: 30] [ Atk: 4] [ Def: 5] He knew, as soon as he missed, that things were going to get ugly. It was a risky move that he hadn't really thought out very well. His back was now completely exposed toward his opponent. From what he was able to gather during the fight thus far, Alexander was going to take advantage of this moment, and he was going to strike.
He didn't have much time to think, yet somehow he managed to pull something off. As his foot harmlessly passed Alexander's face, he immediately shifted his body weight as much as he could to get away from the predicted incoming strike. This, however, wasn't enough.
Luckily, speed was not the only thing Gejogu had up his sleeve. As his gaze was turned upside-down, mid-spin, his eyes caught the sight of a lone tree barely 5 feet away from his position. Instantly, he tapped a button on his left katar, and a wire shot out of it at alarming speed. It attached itself to the tree and pulled him toward it, Alexander's sword missed his back by a few centimeters.
As he reached the tree, he retracted the wire. Making him land swiftly on the ground beside it. "Wow... I must admit, that was a close one. It was foolish of me to underestimate you and be so reckless. I won't make that mistake again, I assure you..."
With that said, he aimed his gauntlet in Alexander's direction at a blinding speed. Two pocket-sized knives shot out from the gauntlet and were heading straight for Alexander's chest. (Sorry for the long post... and for poofing a tree seemingly out of nowhere lol. Couldn't think of anything else to save me from that miss... xD )
Edit: OHHH critical hit!

Quote: Alexander HP: [13/25] Att: [5] Def: [5] What in the world??? He saw as his enemy evaded his presumed sure hit entirely. The blonde man shot straight away from him and gained the advantage of distance. As he saw his enemy land safely on the ground, he spun his sword once and put it about 2 feet beside his right thigh. "Wow... I must admit, that was a close one. It was foolish of me to underestimate you and be so reckless. I won't make that mistake again, I assure you...""Ye well... you're doing a good job as.... CRAP." Two darting pocketknives directed straight at him interrupted his speech. he saw where they were headed and he could't get hit... not by this. Instinctively, he switched his sword from blade mode to gun mode and hastily squeezed the trigger, shooting at the engineer in a straight line in hopes that two things would happen. First, the force from the blast would deflect and detour the knives, missing him entirely. Second, the shot would land on his enemy. The shot was perfect. It deflected the knives and kept going straight towards his attacker. The top knife was lost into the air, probably landing somewhere in the dusty floor while the bottom one was deflected downward and it shot towards ground. But it didn't lose its momentum. The knife kept spinning towards Alexander close to the floor and, about a meter away from him, it catapulted upwards, catching him in his left cheek, cutting him and pushing him two steps backwards. "Dammit!" He yelled into the air. He clutched his slit cheek and pressed hard against it. The shot! He looked towards his enemy to see if the his shot had landed. (Lets see if I finally hit you confused ) (... Darn it... I think my dice are broken confused )

Quote: Gejogu [ HP: 30] [ Atk: 4] [ Def: 5] A smile spread across Gejogu's face. He'd made his opponent taste his own blood. This was definitely an accomplishment considering that the fight had been going on for a while. Seeing some bloodshed was a warming sight for him.
The bullet, which obviously wasn't aimed at Gejogu, somehow seemed to be finding its way toward him anyway. Luckily, he managed to duck just in time, and the shot sizzled harmlessly over his head.
"Hmm... What do you think... shall we make things more interesting? I know we've both been holding back..." With that said, he stood up and lifted his left hand. The smile on his face was brighter now, in an almost sadistic manner. About an inch from the palm of his hand, a faint bit of swirling dark energy began to form. It continued to grow, slowly, until it was the size of a basketball.
Gejogu launched it into the air and, in a matter of seconds, the field in their immediate area was covered in faint darkness. Visibility was reduced. Gejogu, however, could see just fine. He was used to this darkness, it was already a part of him.
"Come on, show me what you've been holding back!" As he said this, he was charging toward his opponent at full speed. His feet seemed to blend in with the darkness that now covered the ground, making them almost unnoticeable. He was charging at an inhuman speed and was going to ram one of the blades of his katars into Alexander's ribs.

Sheeze *Conveniently runs into Kero in the distant unknown* " Hey! so.... what's going on?" *After having finished eating his cooked bird breakfast, he lowered his visor and activated the GPS function, scanning the area to triangulate his exact position. "Hmm stare ... I'll need to resupply soon, wandering around has its drawbacks sweatdrop ". The program was beginning to mark nearby towns on the region map and distance when out of nowhere a female voice bursts into his ears: " Hey! so... what's going on? "The sudden jolt made him turn around, trip and roll down a sand dune- "Deeeeeeeeeevliiiiiiiiiiiiiiin". After diving into a lower dune and shaking his head from pulling a Sonic, he coughs some sand while looking up to see his visitor was a familiar face: "What the eek - SHEEZE!? scream The heck are you doing sneaking up behind me like that, are you crazy!?".

"ouch confused " . *With that said she jumped into the sand pit, sliding smoothly down towards her still, startled friend; stopping beside him; being careful enough not to spray him and make him eat any more sand. "I'm a girl, it's one of our traits sweatdrop " and she streached her hand out to him to help him to his feet.

"For the love of holy fluff, don't ever do that again..." *I said while grabbing Ody's arm to pull myself up. I could tell she was still replaying and enjoying in her head what had just happened, most likely it would keep her giggling for a couple months either before I had a new "accident" or she got distracted by something shiny* "Anyways, what are you doing way out here alone? I was checking the map to see where I should go before you made me sand dive stare , need to resupply so most likely I'll go to a village north of here, they have a decent marketplace and Inn.
