Well, I think that, I would add in a modified version of this mixed with some other stuff.

I really like synthetic telepathy and the GPS/radio thingies in each person's bodies, though.

That alone would enhance the capability of a soldier, or really any human, far beyond normal limitations.

For instance, synthetic telepathy would not only mean talking to other humans, but machines as well.



So, you could theoretically draw a picture just by thinking of it, or do math problems instantly by being hooked up to a calculator, and things like that.

Everyone would be a perfect sniper; plus, everything would be hands off, so you could zoom in, zoom in, look at different things, the like, without ever having to take your hands off of the button.

Like, what are the procedures, what kind of risk do they pose, etc.

The Risks though are not fatal......NOT FATAL...Only a few days after the procedures are complete Each member of the team will endure severe headaches and minor aches and pains.....Including major discomfort to the brain, spinal, and collar bones......This will be a 5 day proceure.....If the procedures begin and end in 1 exact day you will be dead.....5 day process least....Maximum Procedures in a week...EXACTLY 1 WEEK......

Exactly the point. I have no illusions about it making them invincible, just tougher.
If they don't feel pain, yes, they'd probably unknowingly take mortal wounds, but they'd also be able to get more things done before dying or being removed from battle.
