America was a great place for things like cotton and corn… It was a great economic gain for the British empire until some stupid colonists got mad over a small tax and decided to rebel.

I hope the last was humor Mendarf. No need to sink to the level of insulting each other's countries, as did the applicant who was denied membership here.
The North American continent offered plenty of reasons for colonization, as did many other places. European countries were in a practical race to settle and claim as much as they could, so why on earth would they have ignored such a large area as what is now the U.S.?
