Before anyone else in the room could respond to Amelia's question, Lloyd jumped at the object his father held, grabbing it firmly in his hands. "My rattle! You guys found this?" He asked, shaking the small object fiercely. Manaril looked at it, then went over to Amelia and began to explain. "It's a special rattle; It can't be destroyed, or run out of power! When it's shaken, it plays the sound most soothing to it's listener's ears! It always used to put Blondie to sleep..." As if it was a staged event, Lloyd fell asleep. rattle in hand.

Slowly, a single bloom blossomed, followed by another, than another. Soon, the tree was being covered in flowers!

Ray thought briefly before answering. "About 4 times a year, once every season change. Ooooh, here comes the best part!" He suddenly yelled as he jumped down off of the hill, a loud buzzing sound heard beneath him. Suddenly, he flew back up to the hill, astride a giant beetle. He scooted up from his seated position, making room for her to sit. He then motioned at the spot, waiting for her response.

Manaril shook her head. "Nah, just leave him be. As long as no one bothers him, he'll be alright. And as for lunch... we're going foraging!" She cheered, holding up a small boomerang. With a snap of her fingers, both women were out of the house and in the nearby woods, in front of a rather impressive fruit tree.

Manaril shook her head, her usual grin plastered on her face. "Nope! Now just sit there and let me do all the work!" She cheered before running up the tree. Once she was out of sight into it's branches, it began to shake. Then, as if it was raining, a torrent of fruit rained down from the tree, Manaril behind it. "Done! Asaad should be done hunting by now... Let's go back!" She offered, grabbing as much as she could carry.

Ray shrugged and directed his beetle to the head of the swarm, flipping and rolling through the air as they all followed his example.

Manaril plopped all the fruit down on the table and handed Amelia a knife. "Fruit Parfaits! I'll take care of the topping if you chop everything up! And before you ask, Asaad should be back any second now with the main dish..." She said, adding this last part with a bit of a shudder. She went into the refrigerator to get Whipped Cream and chocolate syrup.

Ray made one final loop before deciding to stop messing around, making his beetle land on the tree. He hopped off as it took nectar from the tree, periodically grabbing branches to slow his fall. Soon, he was on the ground, walking back up to Bellatrix.

Manaril looked behind her, a confused look on her face. She was getting glasses to be used for the Parfaits, and had to reach into a cabinet to retrieve them. "What do you mean? It's kind of surprising you two came to visit during the semester, but..." She started, mistaking the question.

Ray grinned, playing around with his hair a bit. His teeth reflected sunlight, making them appear all the more sharp and menacing. "That's actually the first time I've done that in years! I wasn't born an Insectimate, so I don't have a natural bug riding ability like mom does, but I think I did alright!" He revealed.

Manaril turned back to the glasses, putting the rest out on the counter. Without turning back, she began to speak. "What am I supposed to think? Part of me says I shouldn't be as happy as I am, and that you two should have waited until you were at LEAST out of school, but the other part of me is thrilled to be a grandmother. To be honest, Asaad has to pay that debt this year. That baby is probably my subconcious's way of saying that everything will be alright..." She confessed. She grew silent. "He may not look or act it, but he's excited too. He's happy that things will keep on moving after he passes." She added.

Ray put his hands to his hips and leaned over. "Let's see YOU ride a beetle then, miss "I'm a expert beetle rider!" He half-joked, half-mocked.

Ray rolled his head around sarcastically, finally halting. "Like what?" He asked, taking a seat nearby.

Manaril's smile returned, and she topped off the filled glasses with cream and a bit of chocolate. Soon, all were done. "Alright then, let's move these to the table! Oh, by the way, are you and Blondie getting married?" She asked casually, ferrying the filled cups betwixt the two locations.
