Lilly catches her companion, Slash, being pushed back a little. "Slash are you ok?" Lilly asks as she places the dog on the ground. Slash stands up and growls at the opponent. Lilly uses shadow clone justsu and the boy is surrounded. The multiply clones smirk while they hide the real Lilly and Slash.

Cory smirks as the sand armor that was once covering his body, shoots out at all sides, in multiple piercing spikes, that would knock away or pierce anything came into contact with.

Lilly watches as the clones disappear on-by-one until all of the ones on the field were gone. But that didn't bother her because Slash and her were hidden.

Cory holds up one hand sign as sand begins to rise from the ground. He then makes multiple hand signs, and slams both hands into the ground. "Earth Style: Sand Tsunami", sand begins to spread out and fill the area, in waves as Cory stands in the middle with sand covering most of the ground across the area.

Lilly gasps as she feels the vibration of the sand. Consumed by darkness Lilly sighs. "Slash we need to bring out your other form." Slash whines telling Lilly, "Ugh! I hate having to eat those pills." Lilly reaches into her back pouch and pulls out a soldier pill. With her spare hand she seaches the pit for Slashes mouth. Once found she holds the pill to his nose and he licks it up. Since the darkness engulfes them Lilly was unable to see Slash change. If she could see, she would see that Slash grew to the size of a lion. But that's not all that has changed, Slashes claws and fangs grew longer and sharper. His strength, and other abilities grew high. Soon the pit they hid in was crowded. Lilly and Slash wait quietly until the right moment.

Cory put both hands to the ground. "Earth Style: Giant Sand Burial", the sand began to grow with vibrations, as it began to condense, crushing anything that lay in it.

Nanashi jumped out of his hiding place towards Cory sliding across the sand Nanashi kicked at Corys arms so that the Sand burial would stop before reaching the girl "thats is enough Cory!... this jutsu is ment to kill no matter how great of a master you are over it..now let her out.." -Nanashi stood with the sea of sand behind him and Cory before him-

Cory released the jutsu and rose holding his arm that was slightly injured from the kicked. He looked at the man as he flicked his wrist and the sand sunk back into the ground.

-Nanashi sensed the sand disappearing Nanashi's eyes were stern yet his kekkia genkai did not show, "..it was a spar not a death match.." he turned his head checking to see if the girl was still there which she was and without stopping he walked back to the tree he sat at before-

Lilly overheard what was happening. "Ok Slash dig us out," sighs Lilly. Slash grunts and digs upward. Slash jumps out of where the boy was once standing and Lilly follows. Lilly looks at the guy who had stopped the "fun". "Thanks for ruining the fun," Lilly says. "But still thanks for saving me, yet you could have waited and whatched. I'm an expert at creating off-the-top plans." Slash growls as his temper rises, angery about that the fact is that he ate a military ration pill for nothing.

As the man walked away, Cory mumbled "Every fight is a death match, showing mercy only shows weakness."

-Nanashi paused only to turn his head slightly his right eye spining into the sharingan form- "true weakness is born from those who cannot control their power, so if she died you would die thus the penalty dont think just because you are royalty rules do not apply to you" -he stood in place his sharingan faded as he faced forward-

"So I guess the fight's over. What a shame, to think I gave Slash a pill for nothing. Good fight though, but there is one thing i'd like to say, loosen up a little. You're like a demon when you fight, wanting to see the eney's blood splatter all over the place." Lilly pets Slash as Slash whines.

Cory jerked his body around. "I dont need this." He began to walk away as he stopped in place. "If I wish to become KazeKage, the only thing that will achieve that goal, is if I am the best and no one will stand in my until I achieve that." He began to walk again.
