seeing the nodding at the captain Yom began an unsteady charge. which gained power and speed as he pressed through the pain before him. he brought his blade around for a upward stroke that would fall on one of the more lightly armored areas of his captain but at the last minute faltered and veered off to the side clashing his blade with the commanders as he passed. coughing up blood on the inside of his visor, collapsing several meters away. landing flat on his back he held up his hand with a detonater trigger in it and said "I win" before pressing the button. activating the three training detonaters that would detonate with the same blast radius of a real detonater but without the side effects, like death. where he dropped them near the commander.

looking up at the captain Yom gasped out "there is no shame in being defeated by a stronger opponent. its your win captain" he then collapsed in to unconsiousness as the stunner round hit his chest.

Waking up some time later, Yom looked around and found himself in a bacta tank. moving around in his weightless state he saw the the commander sitting in a chair. "so... I guess i've got some time ahead of me as a recruit commander, huh?" He saidn with his voice mechanicly distorted by the speakers.

realizing the faux-pas that he just commited Yom blinked at the double chevron patch on the table and then said "Thank you very much lieutenant and my apologies on mistaking you for the commander sir. I havent had much dealings with clones other than on opposite ends of a blaster. thank you for the message and i look forward to working with you in the future as soon as I get out of this test tube..." again eyeing the new rank Yom asked" I was under the impression that our little match was a "sargeant or nothing" type of deal, do you know what caused that to change?"

Blinking and grinning beneath the breather mask Yom nodded and began to move around, stretching his body before stopping after a good few minutes then he reached out and tapped the glass before saying " Well lieutenant, could you do me a favor? I seem to have healed enough to get out of this soup? My bones seem to be in working order and I just hate to be off my feet for long periods of time."

sighing and floating bonelessly in the tank Yom spoke, " I am proficent in the use of almost all forms of close and medium ranged weaponry. I favor assault blasters and scatterguns for medium range combat and in close I prefer my sword and heavy blaster pistols. the equipment that i carry in to combat reflects this. I am trained as a shock trooper. using my jetpack to drive in to the heart of enemy formations, I can be used to eliminate, take and hold stratigic targets while the rest of the unit catches up. the shock value of heavily armored men dropping like avenging bat-hawks from the sky is not to be underestimated. also as a mandalorian shock trooper i can be used in a defensive role, moving quickly to reinforce a unit that has encountered a hostile situation. I have limited functionality as an anti-armor trooper and I also have some skill with explosives. I can function in a limited capasity as a sapper for a squad and am very good with grenades."

Tilting his head at the slightly odd question Yom responded " I am currently twenty-five years old sir."

Yom snorted, blocking a chuckle. and said "thank you lieutenant. I just hope the boredom of the tank dosn't finish off the excellent work that the commander did."
