Sora - OMG! We just did something like this the other day... hold on...

It's something like...
watashi/boku no pantsu de giraffe ga imasu.
watashi no/boku no - My (female/male)
pantsu de - in Pants (I forgot if there was a specific word for pants. xp )
giraffe - giraffe
ga imasu - exists (living things. Non living things are "ga arimasu")
You, Sora, would say "Boku no pantsu de giraffe ga imasu".

OMG!! I THINK I GOT IT!! *celebrates*

Sakura - Koi and Ai are other words for love, and I know from various manga, a common way to say "I love you" is "Aishiteru".

Solar - There is a "wo"! I'll draw it!!

It's sometimes pronounced wo, sometimes o. I chose to have it as "wo" in the subject title, as that's the hiragana/katakana name for the character. Also, you're learning keigo, Formal language, as am I. Most of my non-formal comes from Tsubasa and FMA with smatterings of CCS. sweatdrop I've learned more common language from them than I have in 5 years of taking Japanese at my elementary and middle school.

No, the answer to everything in the universe is yon-ju-knee. (translate to find the answer).

I'm crying. My science class takes place in my old japanese class. I even sat in my old seat for a while until the Teacher's Assistant (WHO I HATE!) was all, oh this line must all move up a spot so I can sit by the door!

Not quite on the last bit, Solar. You roughly said, Cat is name is ____.
Use "no" instead of "wa" after neko. "no", when used as a particle is possesive. So, Watashi no is My. Neko no is belonging to the cat.
Neko no namae wa ___ desu.
The cat's name is ___.
To say 'my cat's name is ___' the 'namae' part can be dropped, and you can say: Watashi no neko wa [name] desu. (My cat is [name].)

Our city has a decent-sized Japanese population (not to mention a Japantown), so that's kind of why we get a little bit of Japanese experience in public schools. 2 elementary schools, 2 middle and 3 high schools teach Japanese in my city.

But it's so sad! My Middle school is cutting out the Japanese program at the end of the year! I'll be gone, but it's still a total shame! sad

My highschool is the only one in my town that teaches japanese. I have a couple friends who only go to the school for the japanese class.
