coming in from the main door, wearing a silveryblack tux, with a blue shirt under, walks in Atilius. He apears a bit nervouse and dosent have a date with him, he walks past Dev, and straight over to Kira and his sister. " My dear Kira, you have outdone your self, its breathtaking." He says with a smile.

Alexis looked up and over as she scented Prufalas coming in, and then a few minutes later Atilius. She noticed her commander's smile and her eyes warmed a bit before she looked past her to Atilius. She could tell he was nervous, but there was no need for it. He looked good in his tux. He just needed to relax.

Cynthia scented Prufalas and Atilius as well. She continued to dance with Perseus as she looked at Prufalas. She smiled and nodded to her respectfully. Turning to Perseus she said "Prufalas looks amazing." Perseus nodded in agreement. Cynthia and Perseus finished dancing to the music. Perseus bowed to Cynthia to thank her. Cynthia did the same then smiled at him.
Cynthia turned to compliment Prufalas on her outfit, "You look incredible Prufalas." She smiled at her then complimented Kira, "You did a wondrous job getting this place ready Kira. It looks amazing." Perseus sat down at table fidgeting with his phone. He got up and got a drink for himself then sat down again.

The Elf remained cool and collected during the night, and avoided as little social interaction as possible. In fact, she had purposefully dressed to look like any other person here, even making a minor shift to turn her usual long horizontal ears into the soft rounded ones. So far she had only encountered a few people who simply lightly chattered about how lovely it was and that they hoped to dance at some point.
Ophelia had to admit, it was truly beautiful and it made her feel happy, however she remained detached as she usually was with any celebratory event. Celebrations just weren't done in her culture. With this thought, she drifted to a window and stared boredly out into the night.

"Heh. Well, so long as I don't catch you limitting yourself too much. I wouldn't want you sorry 'bout time wasted on finding reasons to sit things out." Revive smirked, but not in a mocking way. It was then that other visitors began approaching the Mendenhall and apparently it served to give the young lycan some discomfort. Humming out an "Enjoy a great evening~" He walked off, dissapearing soon in the crowd. His bouquet was still with him along with the strange attitude. A fitting combination really.

*smiles leaning against a back wall eyes glinting in the light. Slowly adjusts suit and hairpin while grabbing a cigar from my front pocket. Starts talking to self silently* So peaceful, wonder if one of the ladies would like to dance *lights the cigar casually* probably not *closes eyes and starts humming to myself*

Kira grinned and nuzzled Prufalas's neck.
"Thank you darling, It took a lot of work to get this place looking this way."
Turning to Cynthia, Kira smiled warmly
"Thank you lady Cynthia, your words mean volumes to me. As do yours Attilus."
Hearing Revive bid her adieu, she turned towards his retreating back, following him with her eyes until he disappeared into the crowd.
What did he mean, holding myself back?

One would think that Revive would be currently reflecting on whatever thoughts he had or perhaps on what he'd said to Kira. Maybe on her reactions and arguments. Could be he was thinking on who to give the bouquet he was still carrying to... But in reality, the young lycan had shifted to a somewhat different question. Where - oh where were the snacks and beverages at this place?! With that dillema plaguing his mind he made his way across the ballroom, rather deftly as he managed to stay out of the way of most dancing couples. Chances were his next interlocutor would also be found at his "destination".

Alexis pushed herself away from the wall having spotted the lycan she didn't know heading in the general direction of the refreshments table. Realizing that this was her chance to meet him, she took a shortcut, crossing through an empty room to emerge from behind a wall plant and less than a few feet away from the food.

A figure dressed from head to toe in red formal garments slowly strode into the slowly crowding dance. His crimson eyes as red as his clothes scanned the crowd of familiar faces until he spotted the face he loved the most. He spotted his mate standing at the other end of the crowd and began to carefully make his way over to her.

In terms of the Devoncroix, one could say Revive has "done his homework". It's been quite a long while since last time he got killed and came back to life, which helped preserve his memories in a fairly "fresh" state. Those he hadn't become reacquainted with after his latest rebirth were at least slightly known to him through studying and talking to spirits. In the case of the figure that stood close to the refreshment table (and, quite thankfully, not between Revive and the aforementioned table), the young lycan knew few things. Name - Alexis. Emotionally introverted. Past - unknown and a taboo to mention. He'd only noticed her presence rather than any intention of actual conversation so he proceeded to the table, looking across the selection of food.

Prufalas watched her beta make her way across the room when a familiar scent hit her nose. She turned in time to see her mate part the crowd, and her face softened into an expression of love. She took note of his attire and met his crimson eyes with her own silvery ones.Prufalas could barely move as she beheld his handsomeness.

Alexis lookede at Revive, eyes icy as she assessed him. She wasn't interested in going up to him just yet, she knew better than to get between a lycan and his food, but she was slightly curious. Learning more about others was, after all, part of her job. She took a glass of punch, sipping it slowly to savor the taste and glanced at Revive again from the side.

Marius caught a glimpse of his mate as the crowds shifted. He turned his head to the side at first acting as though he hadn't seen her. Then unable to contain himself a smile burst across his face as he made a beeline through the crowd to her side. "My love, it has been far too long that your beauty has been kept from me." he said offering a bow.
