Woof! Woof! A little brown dog barked away as the hands on its clock stomach striked seven. Sighing heavily under her bed sheets, a groan escaped from deep within the nurse's throat. She didn't wish to wake up.. not just yet. A few minutes more was what she thought while her slender hands roamed about to silence the canine, but instead, she somehow lost her balance and fell off her bed. Managing to tumble onto the floor along with bed sheets tangling her feet together, she rested her chin against the cold wood and let out a sigh. Well, at least she was awake now and she did need to make her way over to the Flower Shop to decorate her home. Rubbing at the straining pain, she pushed herself up and stood onto both feet wrapped in a pair of white socks.

"Now.. lets see.." She did a few stretches here and there to soothen her aching muscles. It wasn't the best of ways to start out a special day but it could always get better. Cybille then turned around and quicky picked up the bed sheets sprawled across the floor before laying it on top of her bed, smoothening every crease out. Fluffing her pillow, she pulled off a crimson colored hair tye and allowed her wavy, raven black hair to drop down to her waist. Two pointy ears poked out from under and wiggled just a bit but not enough for the eyes to see.

Cybille Jardin. An elf, aged middle twenties, single and living alone in her home. Well, of course her life isn't as boring or pitiful as it sounded like. She worked as a nurse at the local clinic along with Obert Neal, the doctor. Life did not seem the same after their little relationship. Though Cybille figured it was for the best. She was like a mother to him, just like to anyone else. No matter how old one was, she would tend, listen and care for them. Unless you did tamper with her nerves, she sometimes would hurt you with her needles if you went too far. Nevertheless, Cybille did her best to heal the injured and sick. After all, it was her job.

Brushing through blacks locks, she headed over to her bathroom to wash herself up. Whilst turning on the tap, Cybille admired her half-awakened self. Eyes were blank in the morning though later brightened with much enthusiasm once a splash of water hit her face. Curled hair was straightened out quickly with her handy dandy comb and a bit of gel which somehow positioned itself by the side of the sink. I swore I left it up on the glass table.. She arched an eyebrow for a moment but shrugged it off.

Taking a few strolls, after wiping off those droplets from her face, she searched about her closet for a white collared shirt, white short skirt, and a red tie. Anyone could guess it was the nurse's uniform.. and it did make others wonder whether she had anything else to wear. Most definately but it has become a habit to walk around like that. Anyway, it did make her feel smart.. somewhat.

She folded her pyjamas aside and slowly pulled on her uniform for the day, making sure that her hair did not catch onto any buttons or so. Once done, she snatched her brief case and the keys to her home from their rested position before making her way out. Before doing so, she said her goodbyes to her deceased parents whose photographs sat on the dining table and locked the door behind her.

The weather was wonderful. A perfect scenery to continue her day. The streets, as usual, were rather empty apart from other students and business men. "I wonder what sort of blossoms shall I buy today.. Mother dearly loved carnations and lilies" A small smile curved her lips upwards as she thought about her parents whilst her pulled on black leather shoes tapped against the pavement. How long has it been? Three years? It was indeed heart breakening to hear about her family's tragedy. But Cybille was not one to cry after one night. Her mother taught her the truths in life and how one should just leave it as how it was.

I miss them however..

(From the main thread.)

Rubbing her eyes, she quietly watched the children nearby play hide and seek around the bushes of the park. One of them had rabbit ears while the other had a short lizard-like tail with disturbingly bulging eyeballs. It would be offense to stare and so she looked the other way. Since it was Valentine's Day, it would not be surprising to see couples all over the street, either hugging, kissing or conversing using such romantic speeches and words. That made her feel alone, somewhat. I don't really need anyone. Cybille reassured that living by herself was less trouble and she would not need to be washing up after her 'lover' and spouses.. the elf already had enough at work. She at least had five brusies a day to dab alchohol on, bandaid another ten cuts and penetrate one or two with the needles.

That was her life.

"Madam?" Her ears twitched just a little after hearing an hoarse voice speak to her from behind. One of her usual patients? Her neighbour? Cybille was not anti-social or anything but she did not wish to have company just yet.. Not when she had a few things on her mind. Turning around to greet and ask what was needed, her eyes first looked forward before lowering down slightly for she was only able to see gray-ish white hair at first. The person turned out to be the worker at the Candy shop and she appeared to be holding onto something. A box shaped like a heart.. A box of chocolate most definately.

With eyebrows raised an inch higher, she questioned the old woman slouched in front of her. "Bonjour.. May I help you?" was all she could say. Well, it would not be her to say 'How is the weather for you?' or 'How have you been?' Cybille was not as kind to strangers as to her friends since her trust did come a long, long way and she did have bad experience over the last few years for acting so sweet. The best was not to be rude and everything would go well.

"Aah.. I was watching you for a moment or two.. and I thought you might like this. A pretty woman such as yourself should not be walking by herself on such a special day." Was that a compliment? The nurse was a little unsure but kept that smallest smile upon her lips in order to not intimidate the older lady. I suppose she is trying to be nice. Cybille relaxed her shoulders as she nodded her head in response. "So I would like you to have this. We usually give out Valentine's chocolate for free. Wrinkled hands extended out to present the red heart box.

"Merci vraiment.." Cybille rolled her tongue and took the chocolates while her fingers brushed along the texture. She was not expecting to receive anything today so she did a curtsy and her smile widened another inch. It was nice of them to be giving out gifts for those who could not afford it, would not bother to buy one or others just like her. The old woman shuffled her feet and bowed her head a few times slowly then headed back to the candy shop. It was only then did the elf noticed a whole line of people lining up with their bags of leras to purchase goodies. Not everyone is like me.

What was she to do with the chocolate however? Cybille was not the type to snack on sweets as she definately prefered to be strong and healthy. Soft drinks were a 'no no' to her and desserts.. no matter how tempting, she refused to eat any when she would have her dinner at the resturants. Perhaps Obert would like this. I could always sneak it onto his table. She thought about how she would do so as her feet brought her even closer to the clinic. White as it ever could be, there was not a line for once and that made her much more relaxed a few minutes ago. At least she would be getting a break from whinning children.

"Mm? It appears the doctor is not here yet." Stepping into the work area, she looked about for her colleague but saw no one and thus assumed he was off flirting with other women. As usual. Cybille let off a soft giggle and strolled over to his office, placing the wrapped chocolates onto his desk. "Feliz dia de los enamorados.." She spoke quietly and walked to her neatly kept office. A little card sat upon her files, awaiting for the receiver to read the words written within. At once, Cybille opened it up and her eyes immediately widened at the hearts, cupids and angels drawn all over. In the middle was a poem which stated an admirer's love and all sort then ending 'Will you be my Valentine?' I have no time for this. She closed the card and hid it between her papers.

Cybille sighed and sat down onto her chair rolling chair slowly. "Lets see.. hopefully as it may seems. There won't be too many patients." She picked up a pen from the mug by the side of her table and started to sign through a few paper work needed. Most of them consisted of regular customers needing a few jabs for the most recent viriuses or just common pills for illnesses. Otherwise it did just be of children scrapping their knees from tripping and falling from a flight of stairs. She smiled at the thought.. not how the younger generation injured themselves but how care free they were. Honestly, it would be different to find someone chuckling at how foolish they were and the pain would not just go away in a matter of minutes, but hours.

Biting onto the tip of her pen, Cybille pulled down boxes loaded full with medical forms and other research data, just in case diseases were to break out. What time is it anyway? She asked herself and looked over to look at the hanging clock by the wall. Eight in the evening? It was usual for the elf to be staying back until midnight but she did need to visit the flower shop before the day ended.

She stood up to pack her things and rather quickly walked out of the clinic without turning back to check whether the doctor had left. The streets were still as crowded as before but there were more teenagers than children. No doubt they had ran home to have their mothers' grand meals for the night. Adults too would be sitting comfortably in their chairs to spend Valentine's Day together, since they felt a little too old to be strolling about hand-in-hand.

Dling. Staying silent the whole entire time, she eyed the little water puddle behind them which had fallen from her shoes and reminded herself to clean them up afterwards. The smell of the new batch of flowers overwhelmed her senses, there were still those that bloomed during the other seasons such as the common carnations, daisies and roses. Though further additions of Hyacinths "Anemone 'Sylphide", Vandas , Epidendrums and "Agapanthus umbellatus" emphasize the beauty of the warm seasons.

Leaning over to take in the scent of a rose, the nurse picked up the presence of the owner of the Flower Shop and peered over her shoulders. Much dressed like the one before, she stepped sideways to acknowledge her and bowed in respect. Her eldery face adorned wrinkles at every edge possible and told of many stories which the children of her children would love to hear over a cup of hot chocolate. A delighted, almost long-suffered, look showed her own age of friendliness and care for the younger generation.

"Hello again, Ms. Jardin. Looking to pick flowers for someone?" She asked kindly. The shop was not built for guests and the space around them was most definately limited. However, furniture of the highest quality and paintings done by the mos famous artists brightened the area with an Italian sort of atmosphere. Mixture of oak brown and pure gold marbled in perfect harmony. Extraodinary tastes if you did ask Cybille when she first stepped foot into this Heaven on Earth. "Please, do make yourself at home, I'll be glad to serve a batch of home-made cookies and tea if you are hungry."

"Ah! No thank you.. I'll just take a bouque of purple lilies. Perhaps another time." Cybille smiled a little and searched through her pockets for a purse. The old lady was about to say something to counter her statement but decided not to. She did know the elf's parents and the mother's love for flowers, so perhaps it was best to not keep her in. Nodding very slowly, the owner took the freshest batch of lilies and begun snipping off the stems. She then wrapped them up in silver paper and added a strawberry colored ribbon.

"Here you are, Ms. Jardin. And please it is on the house. After all, your parents did quite a lot for me back then. The owner chuckled while handing the bouquet over to Cybille, almost forcing her to take it without payment. "It would make my day if you thanked them on my behalf."

".. Merci beaucoup." There was no point in arguing honestly. So she kept her purse and took the lilies from the kind old woman. Cybille did a cursty and back out of the shop. One day I shall repay her. She made a note of that mentally and thus resumed her way back to her home. The street lights were dimmed and that meant it was close to nine.. I spent one hour there? Mm..

A few minutes flew by and Cybille found herself standing before the door to her home. Clicking the key back and forth, she opened it and switched on the lights. There, the photograph of her parents awaited and welcomed her back. "I bought these for you, mother.. father. Let me go put them into something suitable" The nurse almost skipped to the nearest cupboard and took down a porcelain vase colored with softest of colors. Pink, cream and purple. She undid the silver wrapping but made a base out of it so it wouldn't go to waste. The ribbon was pasted onto one of the flowers.

"The owner of the flower shop wanted to thank you both for the many things you have helped her with.." She whispered and placed the vase next to the picture, sighing a little. "Well, Happy Valentine's Day and good night. I'll be going to bed once I finish up the laundry and dinner."

Chirp. Chirp! The Strawberry Harvest Event.

It was only then did she remember her mother telling her about a secret recipe where over twenty strawberries were needed to make the most delicious cake in the world. Yes, she was not a person who ached for sweet things but it would be nice to recall the tastes of Mrs. Jardin's cooking once more. As a child, she did watch her parent slowly stir the mixture in a stainless steel bowl and most of the time ask her to sprinkle what appeared to be rainbow bits.

Perhaps it may sound a little cheesy, but the real secret to every dish is 'love'. No matter how much effort is used to create something, it would not turn out as fantastic as with adoration. No one has really found the reason why but Cybille did not question the theory and that is why she was able to make such savory food.. As what her neighbours and other kids, who stop by her home, say. She could easily open up her own cafe and have a couple of people waiting in line. Though she did think it would bring too much trouble.

"I better get up now."

Eventually, Cybille was able to pull herself out from the bed without tumbling off and headed over to her closet as usual. Opening the door with a loud thud, she quickly changed into her uniform and dusted off the few feathers from her hair. Reminding herself to get a new pillow, she combed through with her finger tips as she moved over the living room to greet her parents. The flowers were still very much alive and appeared to have bloomed even more than before. She admired the purple flavoured petals and turned them over to check for any insects which dared to chew.

Fortunately, there were none and thus she quickly made breakfast; toast, butter and jam. The elf would have had a nice plate of good quality bacon and eggs but she did not feel too hungry just yet. Looking over to the window, she scanned the white clouded skies and eyed a dove flapping towards her direction. It was a good thing it curved and flew the other way, all its elegance would have ended right there.

At least this one did not head straight for the glass. Too many times had she seen birds ram right into her window and did pity them for their stupidity. Due to how she brought up, Cybille did nurse one (or two) back since it had broken its wing from hitting it too hard. (She actually did want to keep it but felt every animal should have freedom.) Otherwise others would just perch themselves onto the ledge, shake their bodies about and resume their journey to God Knows Where.

Enough of that, time to go pick the strawberries. Cybille would not be surprised if half of the batch was gone. Almost everyone loved those deliciously, juicy red fruits. Seeing how every resturant or store has something with strawberries in it. She tied her hair up into its everyday style, took a hand-made basket and said her goodbyes before walking out, making sure to lock the door behind her.

The patch was behind Seara, was it not? She looked over to where a lot of people where going and assumed so. "And on I go." Seconds flew by and she noticed the outline of his education institute. It had been a while since she visited that place and her old teachers. She did have the intelligence to win herself a few awards but they really did not mean anything to her. Cybille believed it was not possible to compare oneself when others grew up in a completely different environment with different families. Of course there were genes as well to further complicate the matter.

She did not have many friends back then since time to time she would hide her face behind books and not bother to 'hang out' outside shops. Her mother was worried she might need someone's shoulder to cry on when she was away for work, but Cybille answered in a gentle tone. I don't really need anyone, as long as I have you both. In my heart. It was saddening for she did not know of the accident that will happen a few years later. Though, their spirits were still with her.

"Mm?" Cybille stopped in front of the patch and studied the area. It was quite beautiful to see luscious strawberries in sight, awaiting to be picked and made into cakes, waffles or other savouries. She hugged onto her basket and started to look around for the biggest and reddest of the lot, eyeing a few that were already plucked.

Kids were enjoying themselves by snacking on the smaller ones, popping fruits into their mouths and perhaps from stealing each other's too. The older generation sat by the nearest benches and smile while watching quietly, every so often they did slowly eat their own basket full. Such a peaceful place, apart from the screaming and shouting. "Oh, there is a lovely one." Her eyes quickly caught of a group and extended out her hand to pick them.

Combing through her hair with her slender fingers, Cybille tugged at her collar which was neatly ironed for every day's purpose. The usual red tie hung tightly and swayed about as she strolled out of her home. Now there was something bugging her and that today was supposedly a special day, was it not? Did she have anything to do at the clinic or was today a day off for her? It had been a little strange how such a few patients had been visiting the doctor lately.

Her blank eyes scanned the area like she would always do and noticed a sign placed on the main public sign. 'Plushie Workshop! Come make your favourite animal, fruit, person or anything!' Now this was particularly interesting, though what could she possibly make for herself? A little plushie of a flower perhaps? It would be cute.. and maybe something for Jake who was so nice as to company her during the Strawberry Harvest Event.

"Mm." The elf nodded her head once and headed towards the direction of Seara. The school seemed as busy as it did everyday, but that day was a little different of course. Instead of students running amock, there were people of all ages going in and out of the building. Cybille blinked a few times. This event is definately very popular among those who adore plushies.. and it is rare to find someone who doesn't. A small smirk appeared on her lips as she thought quietly.

Brushing by a kangaroo sort of creature, she entered the school while her hands stayed by her side. Little doodles of teachers, parents and nature decorated the walls. They were all colorful and some were even painted in rainbow colors. Beautiful.. and that reminded her of how much of a failure she was whenever it came to drawing actually. True, she was able to sketch out a scenery, but not people. Their faces would be very so distorted, one would wonder what in God's name happened to them. She knew this after being yelled at while she set up a portrait store during one of the carnivals a long time ago.

From then on, Cybille wanted to pursue something else rather than to draw. After listening to her mother's advice, she decided to take a few cooking lessons and immediately loved it. Even though it was hard to start off, especially when it came to pastry, the final product was very satisfying and she dearly loved to try out her parent's recipes. Since they both were not here to feed her with her heavenly food no longer.

Rolling her eyes as she keep herself away from thinking too much, she slided a door open and looked about the room to find a couple of teenagers sitting by themselves, threading through their own plushies. One was of a coconut with a cat face which made Cybille snicker just slightly. It was very cute and strange. Let's see.. is there an empty space.. Orbs looked about before settling down onto a station near the window, the threads and needles there were not disturbed so that meant no one has 'owned' that area.

She took a seat without eyeing anyone else in the room and began to work. Cybille pondered for a few seconds then quickly took a piece of purple and white fabric. An orchid would be nice. And so, she picked out a needle as well as a roll of black thread. She would use white for the plushie she needed to make afterwards, and using a variety would be nice. Just in case, she took the white thread as well.

One stitch by one stitch with experience, she smoothly snipped out the petals for the plushie and started to sew the fabrics together. There were a few mistakes since Cybille was getting distracted by a group of children running about, screaming how their own toys look foolish. Shaking her head from left to right, she glared at them which did quieten the rugrats. Here we go.. She managed to leave holes in each petal in order to stuff them with wool and continued on to stitch them up.

However she was a little problem with the end of each petal since bits of each fabric needed to curve in and be joined without having any sharp points. Orchids were round at the petals, were they not? And it would definately not be a flower of her choice if she patched the plant up the wrong way. As slow as she could, the elf squinted her eyes and tried not to p***k herself as she tried to sew everything together to form the flower.

The colors were soft to her eyes and the black thread emphasized the basic outlines. The white thread around the middle of the flower plushie gave it a more softening look. Cybille smiled happily and nipped the end of the thread of her teeth, then admired the orchid under the bright sunlight. I could have done better but I haven't sewn anything for such a long time apart from ripped clothes.

Managing to dodge two little kids who ran across the room with blinding speed, Cybille sat herself back down onto her seat and placed her orchid plushie on the table. Studying it for a while, she took another piece of fabric which was a brillant red and a yellow to blind in the colors for a carnation plushie. Deciding on the brown thread, she picked it up and threaded it through the same needle she used a moment ago.

"Something else to put next to the vase." She mumbled to herself as she tied a little knot at the end and started to snip off the patterns for the flower. That was going to be a little more difficult since the orchid's petals were fairly easily. Carnations on the other hand.. they were just everywhere. Her eyes, as well as ears, drooped at the thought of her mother picking a bouquet from their garden from before.

"Ouch!" A drop of blood fell to the table as her immediate reactions were to suck on the wound. Of course she was going to cut herself since the nurse was not really paying any attention to what she was doing. And those pair of scissors were sharp.. at least she was lucky enough to not cut a finger off or anything.

Licking off the salty reddish liquid off, she used her free hand to continue on lining the fabric together. It was just a tiny injury, no need to worry. Now I just need to not get any blood on the cloth and all will be well. Her eyebrows furrowed at thought of getting blood stains on the carnation plushie.

Seeing how pointless it was to be working with just one hand, Cybille decided to head over to the bathroom to wash off the blood since it might get infected due to the bacteria of so and so. She once had been too lazy to dab any sort of medication.. and few seconds later it became swollen. Quietly shuffling out of her seat, she looked over to Jake's work place before setting her eyes upon another person with red hair and wings. Since it was really none of her business, she walked by and pardoned herself to use the door since two much older women were blocking her way.

"Excuse me." .. No answer. She repeated herself. And again there was no answer from the chattering ladies. Cybille let out a sigh and placed her hands on her hips, "Excuse me madams, but could you both not be in the way of the door?" Her voice sounded a little annoyed and that made them two edge away. The elf was patient but one with no consideration towards any one did frustrate her, especially when one knows he or she is doing it on purpose.

Finally stepping foot out of the room, Cybille peered left to right in order to remember where exactly the bath room was. "Perhaps.. it is this way." She allowed her feet to carry her towards a little corner in the hallway, and to much luck, there was the symbol for the women's toilet. Amazing. They still have not changed anything since the last time I came here. Which was quite a few years ago.

Pushing the door open, the nurse headed directly towards the black marbled sinks. She stuck her finger under the cooling water and winched at the now stinging pain. Once done, Cybille took out a bottle of what appeared to be transparent liquid and applied onto the wound before placing the bandage on. Well, what was there to expect of someone who worked at a clinic? Of course they will be carrying around aids.

"There, all done." She spoke in a heavy French accent and curved her lips to a smirk. Taking her time to walk back to the sewing room, Cybille continued to admire the childish drawings hanging upon the boards of the wall. There were many golden star stickers to say how well that child's painting was. It was nice of them to encourage the students.. how they would work so hard just to receive a pat on the head or a praise from their teacher.

She recalled one of her English teacher who had a problem with her back then. Not a ruly child but Cybille's accent was beyond comprehension and almost no one could understand what she was saying, no matter how hard she tried. Though her English teacher was glad enough to teach her the very basics and would have extra lessons specially for her to catch up with the rest of her class. I wonder whether Madam Huster is still here. A finger tapped against the edge of her mouth as she thought.

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it Ms. Jardin! Just do your best!

Flipping at the knob, she entered the room and hurried back to her seat since she noticed that the sun was almost ready to set. There was just one more plushie to make and the elf had been wondering what she should make for Jake. A cat? No.. he already has a pet. Another flower? What if he did not like flowers too much. An angel? Nah.. he.. Oh, that would be a good idea. A white angel, but not one that would look like him, she was afraid it might not look too nice at the end of the day.

Scratching the back of her ear, Cybille strolled down the path in the local park. It was time to pick a few clovers and hopefully manage to find one or two four leaf clover, which would be time consuming but she really did have nothing to do. Four leaf clovers were very rare to find and brought luck to whoever was observant enough to see one. Mom used to tell me stories of how she was a kid who believed such stories. The elf let out a sigh and looked over to the right to see a healthy little clover sticking up proudly. "Oh, there's one." She scuttled over to carefully pluck it. It turned out to be just a normal three leaf clover. Well, not everyone is able to strike at the first try.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 8 Total: 8 (1-20) ]
Craddling the clover in her hand, she continued to look for others and reached down to pluck yet another one which barely escaped from being stepped on. A slight blush appeared on her cheeks as she reminded herself to be more cautious. And it would not be nice to step on other small creatures.. though that could not really be helped. Yet again, it was just a normal three leaf clover. Perhaps this will really take up my entire day.. She thought quietly, in search for another.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 10 Total: 10 (1-20) ]
As the elf strolled along the path of the park, Cybille came across a patch field of clovers near the lake. Since she had given her four leafed clover away, she decided to find another one on her own, not that she regretted making the other a gift of course. Cybille cut her destination to the drink stall short and headed towards the group of clovers. Kneeling down onto her bent legs, her hands searched about and plucked at a random one to. Nope, it was a normal three leafed clover.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 9 Total: 9 (1-20) ]
Moving on, her laces from her boots caught hold of another clover and caused her to tug at it. Her eyes darted backwards to see what could possibly be stuck at her feet and carefully picked it out, hoping to not damage any part of the clover. And again, a three leafed.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 15 Total: 15 (1-20) ]
Cybille shook herself off and dusted bits of soil off her skirt before resuming the hunt. She refused to lower down her head to take a closer look, just in case her hair was to get dirty. If she did, perhaps that would take a little less longer than she expected. What was the time anyway? She really should be getting back since the greenish color of the park was dying down to an sun-orange.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 19 Total: 19 (1-20) ]
Sighing to herself, Cybille crawled even closer towards the lake in hopes of her past encounter with a four leafed clover. Or perhaps it is only a one time chance? The wind picked up and blew her red tie over her shoulders, as well as causing a few drops of water to splash onto her face. The elf, slightly annoyed, wiped at her cheeks and adjusted her tie. Time was ticking by and the leaves were ruffling against one another up in the trees. Was it going to rain soon? Perhaps.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 5 Total: 5 (1-20) ]
She sat by the water and broke the water's calm surface with the tip of her fingers, then watched the ripples spread across a quarter of the lake. Silence, it was rather cooling to be alone in such an area but Cybille did partially miss the company she had an hour or two ago. At least they were having fun and the chances of finding a four leafed clover increased by half.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 18 Total: 18 (1-20) ]
Mother and father believed in these stories. They would be happy if I managed to bring one home along with the normal clovers. Her thoughts were quickly filled of images of her parents reading out books of little green men and gold pots. Also, she recalled one tale of tiny creatures appearing out of nowhere, where they would find a master to serve or just stick with until it was their time to go. They favoured the color green and brought much luck.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 15 Total: 15 (1-20) ]
As she pictured flashbacks of herself as a youth, her hand shifted over to the side and digged into the soil, unrooting a clover from its position. That was rather clumbsy of her. Furrowing her eyebrows, Cybille turned her head and examined the small plant.

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 11 Total: 11 (1-20) ]
She flipped her fringe away from her ears by jerking her head towards the right and went back to looking. Cybille was wasting her precious time by going through her life again, she could do that at home where the environment would suit her thoughts perfectly. Hands picked at the nearest clover and brought it up for her to see whether it had four leafs or three. No, three. Her luck was running out, was it not?

[ [ The Fool ] rolled 1 20-sided dice: 8 Total: 8 (1-20) ]
Keep on going Jardin, you will find one eventually. Her conscience told her just as she was about to stand up and leave. Cybille squinted her eyes and gave a long huff. Her patience was dying down rather dramatically, and having not much light to see was a large problem for her. Twirling her fingers around blades of grass, she plucked at a clover which seemed promising. A three leafed.

Cybille clunched her fists together while the side of her lips cooked up to the side. She eyed her surroundings and watched a few petals float along the breeze. Her hand outstretched to grab at a clover, much like an overgrown kitten. Another three leafed, well, least she could decorate her house.

I wonder how mother managed to collect three four leafed clovers in one go. Yes, she did. Cybille's parents were not liars, and she knew so. Everything they said about their lives were facts and their daughter could find no white elephant roaming around their words. I supposed I got my father's luck then. A soft giggle escaped from beneath her throat as she stood up to prepare to head home.

Just as she was about to take a step forward, something floated down towards her and landed on top of her head. Cybille let out a huff and raised her hand to take it off, it was probably a leaf.. But once she took a look at it.. it actually turned out to be a four leafed clover! Her eyes widened with excitement as she felt overjoyed. Too bad there was not anyone around to hug, otherwise she did be tackling them to the ground. Now it was the time to celebrate! And that meant a slightly bigger feast than the usual steamed food.

"Perhaps I should roast something today." She smiled happily and placed the clover into her pocket, along with the other three leafed ones. The elf took off, and raised her head high to admire the half clouded sky as well as the setting sun. Mother and father would be happy. I actually found two clovers today. A short whistle along the lines of a happy tune filled the air as she walked out of the park and towards the streets which lead to her home.
