The front door swung open and triggered the ringing of the bell above the entrance. As the door opened, a young man with jet black hair and a velvet teal coat casually walked into the shop. His wooly blue and green scarf waved in the wind as he passed by.
Stepping into the store, Malcolm Von Strumm looked around and examined the various plants and wares for sale. His eyes settled in the middle of the shop and fixated on a young woman, standing behind a counter.
Malcolm knew what he was looking for and so walked up to her and asked, "Hello. I'm looking for a particular plant. A man-eating plant to be exact. Would you have any of those for sale? I'd be willing to pay a good price for them."
Malcolm anticipatingly looked into the woman's eyes as he wanted to quickly buy what he was looking for.

She stood straight up and closed her eyes as if she were pondering over which color to choose.
Opening her eyes slowly, she answered quietly, "White... Just pure white. No taints of any color in 'em. How much do you want for them?"

Nanette found herself backing away from her customers.
My, news travels quickly around zese parts!
The thought of money made her feel awkward, and in fact, she felt bad for taking people's money, even if they were simply paying for a plant. She smiled to the beautiful teenage girl, and browsed the shelves lined with pots and bouquets.
"Do you wish to purchase zem as a potted plant, or as an arrangement or bouquet, somezing of zat sort?"

Amusement started to fill XiaXue's dull grey eyes.
"... A bouquet is good enough..."
She took out forty dollars from her pocket and held it towards the woman, "Is this enough for the peonies...?"

Irritated with the long wait in line, Malcolm scanned the shop and instantly found what he was looking for. Planted in an earthy, brown, ceramic pot, stood the majestic plant that Malcolm had long waited for. He quickly walked over to the plant, surveyed it, then bent over and attempted to pick it up with both hands. His back and legs strained from the effort when he suddenly realized that there was a better option.
"Kerchek! Come inside!"
At his call, a tall, muscular man walked into the shop. His muscled frame more than hinted that he was capable of more than just lifting up potted plants. The man walked up to Malcolm and bent on one knee. "Yes, Master," he said.
Malcolm stared and smirked at the man at his disposal. On the outside, one could not tell that this man before him was not a living person. "Yes, I called. Kerchek, lift this plant up and follow me outside."
The young man instantly got up and pickedu p the potted plant with ease.
Malcolm turned to the cashier who was still in conversation with a customer. He took out an indescript amount of cash and laid it down onto the countertop.
"This is for the purchase."
With that, Malcolm turned tail and walked towards the door and out. His obedient servant hastily followed behind me with the newly purchase plant. Malcolm's smirk grew wider as he was pleased with today's purchase.

Nanette smiled gratefully towards the girl and handed her a bouquet of freshly cut, snow white peonies. Two dozen of the pale buds peeked around others at her as if saying 'Why hello there!'
Nanette nodded, took ten dollars from the girl's wad of cash, and handed her back thirty. To accent the flowers for no reason whatsoever, Nanette tied a lacey white ribbon around the stems and presented them to her customer.
She winced with inner-pain as she watched a customer walk out impatiently. If Nanatte was going to get a good start, being too slow for her customers was not exactly a good thing for her reputation. She then returned her attention to the gray-eyed girl, teary eyed and flushed red, the same horrible feeling like being slapped in front of a large group of people.
"Would you like to personalize your bouquet wiz a card?"

The bell rings, signaling the arival of Avice and Fealony. Fealony moved to sniff at the flowers and the woman pulled on the leash. "Mind manners Fealony!" She lightly scolded, "Now help me pick out some flowers for Nevi, I want to get him something nice." That said, she turned her gaze to all of the plants inside the building. The scents from all of them just then seemed to have hit her nose. "This might take awhile." She carefully begain to walk through the isle, towards the counter hoping the woman in green might be helpful.

A sweet scent caught her attention. Turning towards it, she found a beautifull flower.

A small smile danced across her lips. "What do you think Fealony?" She turned to the pu who was sniffing another flower.

"Hmm....Great idea!!" She looked at both of them and then looked around a bit lost. "Um...Help!! Can I please get some help?"

Nanette nodded to the mysterious teen, gave her the bouquet and change and turned quickly to the new, upper-class looking woman with the frisky poochie and hurried to the odd pair's side
"How may I be of assistanze to you, ma'am?"

Avice looked at the woman. "Yes, I would like a bouquet of these flowers mixed together." She motioned to the two flowers. "And also, you wouldn't happen to know were I can get honeysuckle would you?" Felony took the time to lie down and chew on his leash.

He steps into the flower shop, thinking to himself, I'll get her some flowers, so that when she sees me, she'll know that times are good and all is well. I'll get her some flowers.
And there she is.
"Avice.... my goodness. I... you weren't at the Inn."

Freezing at his voice, her cheeks flared a deep scarlet. "Ne-Nevi.........What are you doing here?" She nervously positions her body hiding the flowers.

He stutters and tries to act nonchalant. "I...nothing. I mean, I came to see if this was really a flower shop, or some front for illegal activity. And if bychance it happened to be a front, if they were currently hiring. And if they were hiring, if they would consider hiring a fine upstanding citizen like myself."
He's making every word of this up as he goes along. "And, well, I thought perhaps you'd had a better thought of it and run out on me, and I would get you flowers while I was here, and maybe, just maybe, hunt you down and lure you back."

She smiles slightly at the thought of the flower shop being a front. But the part of her leaving made her frown. "Nevi, I wouldn't leave you. I got bored and decided to take Felony out on a walk and then I spotted this shop. I wanted to get you something too." She blushed lightly and her eyes were staring at the flower. "Silly."
