Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." Jackson growled under his breath, but he couldn't exactly argue with the fact that the hydrofoil had beached itself, so he didn't have any choice in the matter. He followed after Khan, leaping off the top deck and landing with minimal injury - he looked off into the dark, the night sky indistinguishable from the sea, hoping to spot Tumbler amongst the black, but no dice. Shaking his head, he caught up with the Tower Tycoon. "So we're stuck here. On a string of islands full of unidentified Pokemon a good sixty miles away from mainland, with a wreck or the patrol boats our only way out of here. Thanks very much, Khan. If I wanted to take part in Jurassic Park, I would've gone to the theme park."

“ Isn't battling trainers why we became frontier brains? ” “ No, battling pokemon is why we became frontier brains. Battling trainers is what makes us miserable. ”
"Well, think of this as a vacation." Khan show back. He was about to say something else witty when he heard a growling noise coming from the brush. "Oi, Jackson. I might need your help down here..." The Tower Tycoon stated as he soon found himself surrounded by a pack of small black dogs. They looked a lot like Loki, except there were small flames floating around them. They surrounded him and were growling and barking all sorts of noises. "Well...if it is a fight you want, then you're going to get one!" Khan roared as he released Loki from his moon ball. The Umbreon's fur immediately stood up on its back as it snarled at the aggressors.
"Any day now, Jackson! It isn't like I'm surrounded by a herd of small carnivorous puppies." Khan stated sarcastically. The staring contest between the small black dogs and Loki continued. Neither side making move as both could sense the other's strength. However, as soon as an opening showed itself, the battle ensuing battle would be ridiculous.
Yes, that's right. It would be ridiculous, or as some say it, ridonkulous.

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." Jackson heaved a heavy sigh that quickly turned into a growl of agitation as Khan managed to piss off the indigenous population within five minutes of their landing. He was about to pull Spike's Ball from his belt when he felt something heavy, and rather warm, hit him in the back, pitching him forward into the sand - he felt something tear around his waist, then a bark, and it was only when he managed to sit up that he realized what had just happened. The Pyrup had stolen his Poke Balls. Seized with a terrible fury, he snatched up the nearest and largest rock, pitching it with a strength born of fury and adrenaline - it missed the Pyrup, but hit the pack alpha, the Volupo, smack-bang on the head. Suffice it to say, Jackson's anger quickly evaporated, replaced with an acute awareness that the Fire/Rock-type had very sharp claws . . . in all likelihood, the Volupo would have ripped Jackson's head off. Had Tumbler not rocketed into its side, sending it flying into the nearest rock wall with what sounded like a thunderclap, as rock met rock. The Blastoise hunched over her trainer, emanating pure rage. One of those Poke Balls contained her son.

“ Isn't battling trainers why we became frontier brains? ” “ No, battling pokemon is why we became frontier brains. Battling trainers is what makes us miserable. ”
"Alright, you mangy mutts, who wants to have at me first?" Khan growled through gritted teeth. Apparently his invitation to attack was misinterpreted, as instead of just one Pyrup jumping him, all of them did. "GET OFF OF ME YOU LITTLE NIPPING BASTARDS!" The Tower Tycoon cried as he struggled to get them off of him. Loki was busy using Pay Back to know them off one at time, but that was too slow. Khan could feel them biting at his belt, trying to take his pokeballs away from him. "Quick, Loki, Protect!" He cried out. A bluish-green sphere soon forced the Pyrups from the Tower Tycoon and his loyal Umbreon, but that wasn't before one of the Pyrups managed to get away with his belt of pokeballs.
"Arceus, Jackson! What are these bloody things? I've never seen anything so vicious." As he said this Khan elbowed one of the Pyrups on top of the head as it tried to bite him.
"That'll teach them from biting me..." He grumbled underneath his breath as Loki tackled a few more out of the way.

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." Jackson didn't even need to give Tumbler the slightest signal - with a mighty roar, she charged into the pack of Pyrup, sending a good many of them flying away from Khan and Loki. Those that didn't were treated to uppercuts to the jaw, and those that still didn't get the message were treated to a Water Spout, sending them all running - she stood vigil, heaving with what could have been rage or barely contained sobs, as Jackson stumbled his way over to the Tower Tycoon, the attack that Volupo had dealt him leaving him still winded. "C'mon. We've gotta get moving. Tumbler won't be able to knock heads like that again - lord knows how many of them are on this island, and I don't really want to deal with their angry parents . . ."

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." Even though he was almost as angry with Khan as he was with the damned Pyrup, Jackson let Khan help him move, Tumbler picking up the slack the Tower Tycoon couldn't. "The small ones, seemed so - the big one, the boss, he was part Rock, I think. He certainly sounded like he was." With that verdict delivered, the Gym Leader felt the area the Volupo had gone for - it felt extremely tender, and he was willing to bet there'd be the mother of all bruises there in a few hours, but there didn't seem to be any bleeding or signs of permanent injury. "Haven't you got a map or something? Tell me you didn't come to a charted and previously settled chain of islands without a map."

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." "An AA gun? What in the hell . . . what kind of scientific expedition requires enough hardware to take down a UAV and patrol no less than seven islands?" The Gym Leader was still pondering this when he heard the bushes rustle, and so was caught rather off-guard by the sight of a Ferragon bearing down on them. His eyes went wide, blood draining from his face, and he almost didn't notice Tumbler shifting more of his weight on to Khan, her eyes fixed on the Ferragon. So, when she flung herself at the dragon, the two armored Pokemon connecting with a loud clang, he was ready, and pulled Khan back, out of range of any short-range attacks - he had a feeling Tumbler needed to get this out of her system, and what better way than by beating up what looked like king of the jungle?

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." As Tumbler finished off the Ferragon, the steely dragon left unconscious and battered on the forest floor, Jackson considered Khan's course of action - he was annoyed that he kept agreeing with the man, since it was thanks to Khan that they were both stranded and their Pokemon dragged lord knows where on these godforsaken islands, but he didn't have any better suggestions. When even the shadows began to glare at Jackson, the Gym Leader heaved a sigh. "Electrobolts, yeah? . . . Short, controlled bursts."

"EAT ELECTROBOLTS, MOTHA@#$R;." The Tower Tycoon screamed as he whipped out his revolver, rapidly double tapping the trigger, releasing two 10,000 volt shock rounds at the source of the glowing eyes. Loki looked surprised at his trainer, such enthusiasm was uncommon. "Well, I think that takes care of whatever that was." Khan said with a smirk as the eyes disappeared. His statement was soon contradicted as a large yellow cheetah like creature dropped down from the trees. The two electrobolts had connected with its forehead, sticking out like devil's horns, however the giant cat seemed entirely unphased. It looked at the humans before roaring, liking its mouth afterwards. Soon, the upper canopy was filled with glowing, beady eyes.
Khan went into conniptions as he saw this, "Aw, com'on! I show the damn thing, don't tell him this is an electric type! Com'on!" Using wide motions to distract the pokemon, Khan quickly grabbed Jackson by the arm and whispered a single word, "Run."

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." Jackson could only blink in confusion at Khan's screaming and firing of, well, not really what he'd call short controlled bursts, more trying to paint with a revolver. "Khan, you know how you're a massive idiot?" He would've given the Frontier Brain a true chewing out if it wasn't for the appearance of more and more pairs of glowing eyes, at which Jackson felt the hairs on the back of his neck tingle with what almost felt like static electricity . . . "For once, you happen to be right." With that, Jackson recalled Tumbler (given the hunters had absorbed the electricity, they were probably Electric-types that would quickly make mincemeat of her), turned, and ran, knowing Khan would be following - if he wasn't, well, maybe he could shoot at them again.

"Did you know that you're a massive douche?" The Tower Tycoon shot back as the two started to run from the cheetah like pokemon. "If you knew that, then yes, I acknowledge I'm an idiot sometimes. Sometimes." He was interrupted by the sudden blast of air that nearly knocked him on his feet. As soon as he got up, he found himself surrounded by growing Toranaris (though he didn't know they were called this).
Looking around, Khan whispered to Jackson, "Well, crap. Looks like we got ourselves a problem." Loki growled at the opposing felines. Raising the hairs on his back he prepared to fight to the death to protect his master. "Well, it was nice knowing you, Jackson. Sorry to have dragged you into all of this." Khan stated. He was about to say something else when he was interrupted mid sentence.
"Looks like you boys could use a bit of saving. Stringy, let her rip!" The Bear roared with the Corsola it held in its arms before releasing several barrages of spike cannon upon the Toranaris. Loki, sensing an opportunity, threw up a Protect to protect both Jackson and Khan from the projectile onslaught.

Jackson Vakarian Goldenrod City Gym LeaderWater-Type"It never rains, but it pours." Just as Jackson was about to tell Khan that truer words had never been said, he too was knocked off of his feet (he was getting extremely tired of being knocked about like a Jigglypuff) and was on the verge of growling right back of the Toranori by the time he'd gotten back up. "Khan, if you get us killed on this godforsaken island, I'll bring you back to life and kill you again." Tumbler, too, was all but ready to take on the pack of felines, regardless of injury, but thankfully that wasn't necessary (she didn't want to get blood everywhere). She withdrew her arms and head back into her shell, standing in front of her trainer to act as a shield, just in case Loki's Protect broke . . .
