" I used to live in America before I came here, I used to work with demon hunters but now it just seems like a lost cause...There are so many of them but still, one by one they can be conquered." He wondered why he was telling this person information that he always keep a secret, then he held out the rose that he was holding to Elizabeth, then he thought WHAT? HOW? WHY? Matthew looked at the rose then Elizabeth in turn...

Suddenly, she felt a small spark of happiness and looked up with a smile. "I mean it, thank you," The kindness behind the notion made Elizabeth feel better. "I've visited America before, a few times," She said brushing a piece of hair from her face. "But that was a while ago," The years she didn't really care to tell. She had been appointed to a famous music group in the 1900s, during the "British Invasion", to escort them on their first visit to America. That was the last time she had gone.

Matthew then smiled in turn and a small tear rolled down his face, he did not know why he was tearing. Though when he was near Elizabeth all the pain that was stored away, along with hate and sorrow and fear...was gone. Then Matthew put out his hand with the palm up...

Rather nervously, Elizabeth looked at Matthew's hand. What did he want? The rose? Her hand. The bizarre notion that he would be frightened of the many pale, thin scars that dotted her hand entered her head a d she pu the rose carefully in his hand. "Are you ok?" Elizabeth asked, tightening her grip ever so slightly, meaning to be a reassurance. "Did I do something?" A tight knot in her stomach threatened to move into her thro

"No the rose was for you, would I give it to you if were only to take it back? Come, the fact that this is a place of old memories and sadness is depressing let us leave to a more suitable environment for conversation if you care to continue this conversation at all. I would like to know you more." He thought to himself if there was even a chance that this person would care, but then again she would seem to be lonely if she was mourning alone...it only takes a spark to start a fire

Elizabeth pursed her lips ever so slightly in protest and looked to the piano, then to where her ghost had appeared. She looked briefly over Matthew's face before looking away. "Alright," She said after a few silent moments of internal deliberation. "Where would you prefer to go?" She asked, clasping her hands behind her back to conceal the fact that they were shaking ever so slightly. Her thirst nagged at her ever so slightly and inside she cursed herself for being stubborn. "There is a forest, or the gardens if you prefer somewhere happier, or..." She racked her brain to think of another spot to be.

Matthew then proceeded to take a step one pace to the left, out of the light. " There, for some reason I feel down when I am staring into the light." He thought, converse, converse... "Are you alone in your dorm?"...

Elizabeth nodded and looked towards the general direction of the dorms. "Oh, I am assuming you want to go there," she said after a moment, looking questioningly towards Matthew before starting off towards them, looking back to make sure she was being followed. On one of the occasions when she looked away from him, she bit her lip and closed her eyes briefly, quelling any remaining guilt from her and letting the sensation of learning about another being take over her sorrow.
