But, there are also those like Hakobe and I that have no leads or clues as to who their biological parents are or if they were still around during that period of time. And I certainly can't play as my guardian for most of my childhood, considering he raised me way outside of Aekea. sweatdrop
I mean, the most you might be able to get out of me for that is a small, short appearance of cute lil' human kid me before my guardian found me and took me in....and maybe my guardian himself, if under the right circumstances....

Just an idea I had last night, bouncing off of an idea about something else taking over Aekea; What if GCorp took over Aekea and the Mansion incident happened on a larger scale?
Grunnies, Prunnies, zombies and other monsters galore.
GCorp took the DNA of every citizen and made a clone, or tried to. And they ended up being intelligent zombies. So we would each have two characters; real us and zombie us.
Or something.

I think this RP should be less focused on survival and more on something more light hearted. How bout something cheesy like Voltron or power rangers? Or maybe something with a lot of slapstick like Titan Maximum.
EDIT: I think we should do something in a pulp fiction kinda style.

I agree, Ash. I miss being the grumpy one who tries to put up with all the cheesy stuff. We could do that in conjunction with the zombie plot, though. It's the perfect setting. 3nodding

That sounds cool, and I think it would be even more cool to be srsbsns than humorous... I never really liked humorous roleplays... But that's just me... Also.... How do you clone a robot/droid? Just curious. Are they RepRaps? Hehe.

Get your hands on their blueprints and build your own... and get your hands on a copy of their hard drive/memory banks. I'd imagine that would do it pretty well. Maybe if they tried to remake you, you'd even end up with those pretty backwings your dad wanted. 3nodding
And I really wish you weren't late to the party for the RP we have running now, Bird. It's serious, depressing, and super interesting, but it's also not something I'd want a second version of at the moment. All lighthearted RPs still have their serious moments, though. As long as Ash isn't the one with complete creative control, I'm sure we'll still have plenty of chances at legitimate development amidst the craziness if we go that route.

Hmmm, I do want a funny lighthearted roleplay...
What if someone in Aekea developed some sort of mind machine which we could hook up to and live in a dream world of sorts? In this world we would have the ideal lives according to something we had all sat down and created ourselves in the real world. When we are in this fake world, we aren't aware of reality, so we never have that weigh down on us. But when we sleep in this fake world, we awake in reality. And visa versa.
So we can have the serious part of the world and the happy lighthearted stuff too?

Then again, that would probably be a part of a dream world for X. A war to fight that isn't against her fellow man or machine. Even still, if the real world is the current real world, I'll have to think of a way for her to end up connected.
