First shiny I ever caught in the wild was a Gulpin! It was purple instead of green. I also had a shiny Mudkip at one point, but it doesn't really count because I got him from a Mystery Gift event that was being held at Anime Expo 2009. You ever hear of the website Halolz.com? They're the ones that gave out the Mudkip.

I haven't ran into any natural shiny Poke`mon - ever.
And I don't really care about it. There is no shiny color that I like. Maybe Regice's shiny form, but even that is a stretch for me.

Besides the in-plot shiny Gyrados in Crystal and Soul Silver. Never run into one. From how much people talk about 'em, you'd think they were more common. :I

I ran into a shiny Tentacool on the way to VR in HG Saturday.
Damn near had a heart attack.
A 20 level difference man, a 20 level difference.
Thankfully, my Staryu's attack stat sucks balls.
I managed to catch it.
Promptly named it Heart ATK, and buried it in the box. :]

I also saw a shiny... cacturn? The smaller one. It was orange. I think I ran.
