One's character is determined by their heart and soul,"Disappoint me? Never. Only that one Egyptian might disappoint my theory. Now I say I get to play the good cop, cause I'm cuter than you and can smile my way into being adored. You are the bad cop who will scowl and act as though what I'm going to say to him is ridiculous. So follow my lead and we shall see that boy's character. Is that okay with you or do you want to smile like a fool on crack?" Reece asked with a laugh as they left the lake. She could still see the snickering idiots pointing at them, so she turned back around and kept walking.
The walk to the arena wasn't long, just a hop, skip, and jump away from the lake. Even from the outside she could hear people inside the arena, training and chattering away with different dialects. It made her want to spar again, but she already had enough of a fight from Heie. 'I wonder if that boy will try to spar both of us at once. It might not end so well for the boy.' she thought to herself as they walked through the entrance and began their search for the boy.
((just post in the arena after shadow does instead of a flimsy little reply in here.)) not by their parents or another arrogant being of this world.

Just because you are blind,'Why did I become a camp counselor again? I could be home in my cabin bossing the little wimps into shape while I relax. Here there are too many ugly strangers that I must deal with and no entertainment to make me smile... Maybe I should tell Lupa we must start planning right away so we can finish and be done with this stupid truce. After all, it serves no purpose other than to show us we're all hating each other.' the blond haired maiden thought to herself as she turned onto her back. She needed to in regular intervals, otherwise she'd get an uneven tan and a daughter of Venus couldn't allow that.
Giselle was probably one of the fiercest children Venus has ever birthed into existence. If she saw something she wanted, she'd make sure she'd get it. Like her bikini, not even out in stores yet. But it was midnight blue with star accents at the end of its tie strings and white lace accents around the edges. Cute and made the color of her eyes pop. After all, what is charm speak if you didn't have the looks to back it? It's just an act against nature. Ask Ceres, those acts were always the most atrocious of them all.
Looking around, Elle grew with thirst as she lounged by the lake. "You there." she said, calling attention to some young Greek child. A weak little demigod by the looks of it. "Would you go get me a pink lemonade? I'm just parched and you look so handy to help me." she said with a sweet smile that didn't reach her eyes. Luckily, she had sunglasses on. Mesmerized by her luscious voice, the young boy ran off to get her what she asked, not realizing that he was leaving his little annoyed - and annoying - friends behind. Oh well, the more the drama the merrier she became. and unable to see my beauty doesn't mean it does not exist.

Tekem MeredHe was told that someone of interest was going to be here, but his mother just loved to test his patience by leaving out important details. Looking around he got more and more annoyed by the people there. The kids playing in the sand were loud and childish. He didn't think that they should be wasting their time here. They should be training hard to complete missions. He was nearing his wits end as he saw a girl bossing around the other kids. She was a camp counselor he had seen her before.Looking at her his eyes drifted a little to far. Luckily no one saw him checking her out. He cleared his throat. Walking over to her he stood blocking out her sun and smirked. "Counselor's just seem to get lazier and lazier" he taunted. "Why do you waste your time here?"He knew that she was going to be mad. Girls were sometimes easy to read. If he was right this one was a daughter of Venus. He would need to be careful of her voice. He knew of a rare ability those children were blessed with. He even met one with a weaker version of the gift. He fell for it at first before he realized what was going on... That was the funniest day ever... he thought. If she was important person he was to meet, he would need to tell her what he needed to quickly before the effects of her voice worked on him.

The ability to see beauty is the beginning of our moral sensibility.Elle was smiling comfortably as the boy brought her her drink. It even had a cute little pink umbrella in it and a swirly straw. Adorable. "Awe, thank you dear. Now run along and play." she said as she waved her hand at him, dismissing him like yesterday's new fad. Sipping at her drink, she watched the water and shore for a new boy toy of the week. If the boy was lucky, he'd last a month. But those boys had to be gorgeous in order for her to want to keep him as her arm candy for that long. Too bad they all thought she was the arm candy, but whatever floated their boat to keep them happy was mostly fine with her.
But her comfortable bubble was busted as a shadow blocked her sun and a voice spoke words quite unflattering to her. Lazy?! Did he see her body? Only the strictest of workout regimes could give a girl this body. Sighing, she pushed her glasses to the top of her head as she looked up at the boy. He was most definitely cute and around her age, but had no manners. Plus he was an Egyptian. She could fix the manners, but the pedigree was most definitely a minus. Smiling at him, she put her drink down as she sized him up. "Or maybe we're not getting lazier, it's just the stick up your butt is getting longer." she said nonchalantly as her smile turned into a smirk that matched his own.
"As for my time, well where else should I waste it? I feel as though I'm wasting it more by talking to you. So dear, why don't you tell me everything on that's on that cute little mind of yours while I think about what to do with you." Elle's last words held her charm speak in half force. He didn't look like he needed her full charm, very few actually do. It's only when she avoided fights when she used her full charm. Then again those people were compelled into fighting themselves. Amusing results in those one handed duels. What we believe is beautiful we will not wantonly destroy.

Tekem MeredHis face didn't budge at her comment about the stick. Even though it did slightly piss him off more than he already was. Though she was one of the few girls(or even some guys) that didn't get scared of him. He had a reputation for having a short fuse. "Your wasting your time here dealing with these people. Haven't you ever wanted more? I know that I have" he said smiling. He half wanted to tell her, but the charm coaxed him more into telling her. "This whole world should be under the control of the strong, not weak minded fools that only seek false peace." he continued. These were things he felt very strongly in. The world was over populated by fools. "Sure you can have the things like a drink or a new purse. But what if you said you wanted a country?"
Luckily the beach was full of people having their own conversations and making a whole lot of noise so they weren't paying attention to the two. "Everyone wants more. More power, wealth, or even fame." He sat down in the sand waiting for her response. As a camp counselor she could get him in trouble for him talking like that, but he had a good feeling about her. "So you interested?" he said smirking. He knew he was in control of himself for the most part, but he would let her think he was under her full control. Hopefully she didn't up the charm on him.

It is when power is wedded to chronic fearGiselle couldn't help but sigh as he spoke. sure his words evoked her wildest dreams of power, but that was never attainable for demigods. Sure their names were known from the past, but if they wanted recognition in this time period, they would have to hide themselves behind a mundane facade. That was something intolerable to her. Sure she was a self-serving, vain, b....itch but she knew who she was and loved every aspect of herself. 'He's still hiding something, probably that he had me on his mind. Oh well, his cute strong mind will be mine by the end of the day so it doesn't matter.' she thought as she stood. Tying a sarong around her waist, she turned to him with a full smile.
"Now, you're going to follow me and we shall speak elsewhere. There's always one of my siblings lurking around listening." Elle said as she turned and walked away from him. She knew he would follow without her using her charm. The lure to the idea of her interested in his words was enough charm to make him follow her like a magnet. Soon they entered a building with courts inside. Opening another door, she walked into a sound proof racquetball room. "Now my dear, what is it that you want? she asked, putting force behind her words as she leaned against the wall and kept a close eye on all of his movements. that it becomes formidable.

Tekem Mered
Following her he knew that it was a good idea since she knew her siblings better than he did. Following her he could tell she was interested. No one could turn down power unless they were a fool. As she leaned against the wall he made sure the door was tightly closed and locked. "You and your power for my mother's cause. If I have your loyalty I can promise you a powerful position in her new world." he said standing in the center of the room. Once his mother was in power she could surely grant her followers power, fame, and fortune. Tekem was to be the sword to guide his mother's army, but not everything could be done with brute force. To gain the people needed to form such an army he needed someone with the voice to make them follow. "While you fight for us we can offer you protection. These monsters will not even think of harming you." he said as he paced around. He knew this offer was good, but it was risky on her part since if found out she could face some serious consequences.
"You don't have to decide right now, but soon. Things will start to be put in motion soon, and I'm sure you don't want to be left out. This of course will have to be our little secret." he said walking up to her. "No one else can know about this. I only choose you since you look like you could keep a secret. At least if you knew you had a good reason to." She was one of the first people he had officially invited to join him and his mother. Heie had a long way to go before he would be put into consideration. He was far to righteous to be told anything right now.

Call me what you want,Eyes narrowing, Giselle calculated any possible scenarios she would be caught in this boy's little rebellion. He seemed strong, but she heard rumors he was unclaimed. Perhaps he was trying to get her into trouble. "Why should I trust what you say? For all I know, you could be setting me up." she asked as she pushed away from the wall and she began to circle him. Her hand reached out and traced around his shoulders as she kept walking. She did love to make people squirm, or at least try since this boy probably wouldn't be phased in the slightest.
With a sigh, Elle listened to his explanation and stopped in front of him, only inches between their bodies. Tilting her head to the side, she looked into his eyes and laughed. "You have bravado, I like that. I'll agree and keep this a secret, but on one condition. I want something from you to make sure I won't be crossed. What is it your willing to offer me?" she asked as she reached out and ran her hand through his white hair. This was going to be quite interesting. He probably could guess what she wanted, but at least their was logic behind her idea.
Children of Venus always strives to be the best and cutest couple. Those who reach that status have leverage over others because you become unattainable and people always want what they cannot have. He was handsome enough for her to be around, and if she was to be part of his little coo, then she would need to be around him often to gather ideas for a plan. Though suspicions must always be dealt with, after all, a good rumor can ruin any plan in a matter of seconds. With no truth to patch up the rumor, they'd surely go down. but know I'll laugh at you nonetheless.

He stood still as she walked around her hands tracing his shoulders. He was trained to be able to keep his emotions hidden. She stopped in front of him only putting a few inches between them.Obviously he would keep this a secret. If she decided to take what he said to the elders it could land him in hot water. Then he listened to her proposal. It was a good idea. It would cover up reasons why they were together so often even though they were from different houses. Also she was good looking so it wasn't like he was completely against it either. The elders would probably let it slide since it would show that maybe the different sections were getting along. He had never dated before mainly because most girls were unbearable. Giselle had a little twist that made her his type.
"How about this?" he said as he leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Placing a hand on her hip he ran his hand through he hair. Breaking the kiss he smiled. "Do you approve?" he said. He knew very well they could have been followed. But from what it looked like they weren't doing anything wrong. The worst they would get was a scolding from one of the other camp leaders about where they should do things. But he never listened to things that he was told to do. If the house got on him about it he would deal with it as it came, but there was really nothing they could do about it.

It is absurd to divide people into good and bad.The boy took longer than she would have liked to accept her proposal. Most boys jumped at the chance to be with her for at least a day, but this one actually took a moment to consider it. Oh well, he still accepted which was what mainly mattered. Smirking against his kiss, she kept her arms wrapped around his neck even when they broke apart. Her smirk gave her vibrant blue eyes a glint that showed a haughty pride that she once again got what she wanted and through him much more than any other boy could give her. 'He might even last a month if his word is trustworthy.' she thought smugly as she studied his features.
There was nothing to fix, a fact Elle was quite happy with. Wardrobes and looks were always hard to fix when boys were so stubborn... Wait, she didn't know her new boyfriend's name. That could be problematic if anyone asked her about him. "Of course I approve. And my name is Giselle, those I like call me Elle. What's your name?" she asked sweetly as she caught sight of one of her siblings running away the moment she caught her eye. Time for this rumor to run rampant. Now as to why she'd stoop so low to date an Egyptian was a lie she had to create, but with her gift, that factor should be easy to erase from her list of things to do. People are either charming or tedious.

Smiling back at her. She would help things go a lot smoother. Gathering an army was difficult, but with her it would go easier. "My name is Tekem." he responded. It was funny that they were dating before they even knew each other's names. He knew he noticed someone looking earlier. "Will this be a problem?" he asked her looking into her eyes. He knew that she could solve this problem a lot easier than he could, and a lot less people would get hurt too. His methods were to beat up everyone that knew so that they could keep their mouth shut. He knew that if it reached the house that the kids would talk about it. He wouldn't be able to beat on them as easily as the kids in the arena. He was supposed to be their guardian. So beating them up in the hallways could be just the thing to make him lose his rank.
They would need to be careful about who heard them talking. It was fine to be seen together, but if they were over heard discussing plans the council would surely hear about it. Today was a very eventful day for him, and a good day. He even got to fight a decent opponent for once. As for Elle he knew this would be fun for her. This was where she would shine. She was powerful with her charm, and he with his strength. He would protect her as long as she was with him, and make sure she was kept happy. If he didn't deliver on his promise that charm could be turned against him. "Will you be available tomorrow?" he asked with his arms still around her.

You have to have confidence in your ability,Today was much more eventful than Giselle could have hoped for. Not only did she get the offer of a lifetime for power and fame, but also a cute boyfriend to deliver it to her on a silver platter. The catch was one she could fulfill in her sleep, use her charm to benefit whoever his mommy dearest is. Easy enough since she was well practiced with her talent and never took no for an answer. Not like many had the mind to tell her no in the first place. Many just turned to putty in her hands if she so wished it.
'Tekem, that's a nice name.' Elle thought to herself before he drew her away from the inner thoughts rolling around in her mind. Smiling, she laughed at his question. "Nothing is ever a problem for me Tekem unless I want the drama. That girl was Sheryl. She's a newbie to my cabin and is currently our spy for new gossip which will benefit us since it'll spread the new couple status. It'll ensure our future meetings won't fall under suspicious eyes" she said with a simple shrug of her shoulders. Of course she'd have to talk to Sheryl to not spy on her, but that could be dealt with at a later time.
Eyes growing distant, she had to think a moment for her social calendar. Tilting her head to the other side, she remembered there was something she had to do for the Venus cabin, but she couldn't remember what it was. No matter, she could get someone else to do whatever it was she was supposed to do. "I'm as free as a bird, why? Already making plans in that cute little head of yours?" she asked with a light laugh as she continued to keep playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. and then be tough enough to follow through.

Tekem Mered
He liked hearing that things wouldn't be an issue. Of course he would have to deal with fellow cabin members gossiping about it. But it would mean that they could meet up more often, and without being questioned why. "Alright, then I won't have to do anything. My methods are a little more direct than your, and it would probably get me in trouble anyways." He hoped that spy would leave him alone as well, but he didn't need Elle to tell her that. If she decided to spy on him away from public places she would live to regret it. Even if he was fighting a girl he was still ruthless. Girls could fight just as good as men, and sometimes better so he never gave them any slack.
As for his plans later he would need to gather some things. "I have a gift for you." he said smiling. "You're going to love it. We'll meet in my house." It was going to seem weird at first, but she would understand when she got there. His mother was very giving to those that she felt that she could trust. Already Elle's nature had shown his mother all she needed to know. He could feel her approval. The gift was power of course, and because Tekem was doing as asked he was to be given a gift as well. To receive the gift they must connect with her. "After you receive your gift well think on what to do from there" he said smiling. "But we should go before they send the elders to see what we are going" He took her hand leading her out of the courts.

Go ahead, take my hand."You're going to have to fix your direct approach. Staying in a position of power doesn't work if you get in trouble. A lower position then means less access to information. We wouldn't want that now would we?" Giselle said matter-o-factly. It did make sense though, if he became a lower position in the House of Life, he wouldn't be granted access to the War Room nor could people who have access to that room discuss what was said till all arrangements were finished. Not like she'd follow that rule, but the others would. Everybody looked out for each other here which was truly pathetic since it only led to betrayal.
His words pulled Elle out of her thoughts. A present was unexpected, but always appreciated. Her mind went through the list of things she'd like, let alone love. If anything from him, it most likely had to do with power. That was his end of the bargain and he must be starting to deliver early. "Oh puh-lease. The elders don't care of the demigods have relationships. It was a kiss, not like we were getting it on in here for everyone to watch." she said with a laugh as he led her out. The moment they left the room, her arm wound through his as she kept glancing sweetly at him. Might as well reassure the rumor about to spread.
Leaving him outside the building she said, "I'll meet you at your house, I need to change first." she said as she ran off to the Roman house. It didn't take long to get there and run into the Venus hallway. Slowing, she listened to the rumors from Cacia. A few juicy morsels she heard and tucked away in her mind for later, but right now she had to change. In her room, she quickly put on a pink halter and a tight pair of jeans. Make up fixed and hair back to its lustrous waves, she slipped on a pair of sandals before leaving to go to the Egyptian house. Leaving the house, she couldn't help but laugh when she heard her name brought up in the gossip. Not like you can tell I'm not trustworthy.
