He walked up to him and stood just behind him and to the side...

Magnus closed his eyes. "It's all my fault....I'm the one to blame for Exire's death....I was too weak to help him...."

Magnus looked up as Sy landed, followed by the young Spawn Shifter that was the dragon shifter's son by blood. Literally. "Sy....Vincent...."
Sy went over to Magnus and knelt. "Magnus....I'm so sorry...." He hugged his long-time friend, hoping to quell his self-hatred. "Uncle Magnus is sad....Where is Aunt Vela?" Sy looked at Vincent.
"She's at the house, little one." Magnus looked at Sy, and then at Seth. "...Thank you, for your concern, Seth...."

Alinese walked up to the house, but stopped as she looked at it. The place was in shambles, but Magnus' and Vela's presences were strong and clear. She went up to the door and knocked, surprised it could stay so stable. "Magnus, are you in there?"
Magnus heard Alinese's voice and stood slowly, making his way to the door. The inside of his house was still clean, but he knew the outside was a reck and most likely worried her. Opening the door, he looked at her, though his gaze was empty. "Alinese. How may I help you today?"
"I came on behalf of the elves. They're worried about you, and it's clear to see why. May I come in?" She walked in as Magnus moved aside and looked around. Natural the inside would be clean and tidy. She looked at him and patted his head. "Does Exire's death still trouble you?"
