Melody laughed and put Iris down. Oh she's fine. Probably just grumpy from her nap. Iris glared at her then sat infront of Vincent showing that she wasn't grumpy and it was ok for him to pet her. Melody rolled her eyes and got her towel to dry her hair. Well actually my brother taught me most of the language since we lived near a dragon's temple. They allowed us to study them but only while we were young since older sirens actually capture dragons for their own use. Lucky for me Iris has been with me since before I can remember so I don't need any other dragon. As her hair dried it went from silver blue back to blonde and she turned to look at him as he dripped. Oh sorry I forgot to dry the rest of you. She put her hands up and water was pulled from him in 10 tiny streams directed towards her finger tips. Once we was dry coughed a bit and smiled. Better?

Vincent bent down to pet Iris on the head "Ohh you have a brother, where is he?" Vincent nodded as Melody spoke, understanding hardly any of it... Perhaps for him to fully understand he'd need to spend a week or two at Melody's birthplace "Ohhs... I get it" He lied to her and himself. Vincent watched blankly as the streams of water ran from Melody's fingertips, he wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen... but as soon as he realized it was too late. Vincent was completely dry, his damp clothes were cold... but dry, his wet hair was no longer wet "That's amazing" He said sounding a little astonished

He's with my parents right now. They aren't feeling too well and they needed him to watch over everyone til they were feeling better. Melody explained taking something out of her bag and pocketing it before he could notice. When he lied she smiled. Well if you get it then that would either be a first or a lie. No one really understands when I tell them my story but what can you do. She folded her towel and put it into her backpack before speaking again. I've only had 200 years of training and have a few thousand years before I can do anything truly amazing. She laughed and rubbed the pack of her head.

Vincent ruffled his long hair with his hands "Ohh, I'm sorry to hear that... I had no idea your parents were ill" Vincent watched as she took something out of her bag... or put it in her bag, it was too quick for him to notice "Well, I assure you I'm a first...Cause I don't lie" Vincent smirked at his own lie "Even if it was only 200 years of practice, your sti... wait... how old are you?"

It's alright. They'll be fine in a few days. Probably just need to go hunting for a bit. I don't worry about it too much since they aren't my real parents and I know that if heaven forbid they die Ren is ready to take over on things. Melody laughed at him since now she was sure he was lying. Well...um...I'm not entirely sure. You see when I had the mortal appearance of 5 I had lost my memory. Then whenever I try to remember anything from before that my heart starts to react. But since that day it's been maybe 350 human years? But don't get me wrong that is steal VERY young in siren terms.

Vincent shuffled on his feet "Even though I don't know em' at all, I can't help but worry... Melody, did you know your real parents?" He asked quietly before plunging his hand into his pocket and pulling out a hard candy "Hmm... Ren? Is that the brother you were talking about?" Vincent was already peeling the wrapper of the lolly "Well Grandma, your older than me... " He said after hearing Melody's age.

Melody looked at him with understanding. Well I must have know them at one point in my life but I just can't remember anything but their blood. They left me a sword but thats about it. Melody nodded realizeing he didn't know her brother's name. She slapped his arm when he had called her grandma. Hey this is bot the body of a grandma! Also can a grandma be able to whip your sorry butt at tae kwon do, karate, martial arts, ect? I THINK NOT! She hated to be called old and crossed her arms un a pout.

"You only remember their blood? That's... odd" He said with a laugh "They left you a sword, isn't that a strange thing to give to their daughter... Ahh well, who am I to judge" Vincent said while shrugging his shoulders. Vincent shielded himself with his arms poorly as Melody slapped him "Not a grandma huh? You gotta quit lying to yourself Melody... I'm sorry, please don't hurt me!" He said shortly after hearing the girl finish.

Melody sighed before answering. Well if you see your parents killed before your very eyes with their blood splattering on you it's kinda hard not to remember that. Also the sword is blessed so it was the only thing to protect me from being drained by vampires as well. Melody took the pill from her pocket and popped it in her mouth. She got out a bottle of water from her bag and washed it down. Her chest felt less tight and her heart calmed down. It got worked up as she remembered and got freaked out from Vincent drowning. Relax. I only use fighting for self defense, teaching, and sport. I've only used violence for revenge once and I wasn't quite myself when it happened. Since that incident I've promised myself to never kill any innocent thing again. She took out a hoodie and pulled it on before stuffing everything back into her bag.

"Why remember their death? I'm sure they would want you to remember the good times" Vincent said with his eyes downcast "Revenge huh? I for one dislike violence... but even I couldn't stop myself if someone had killed one of my loved ones..."

(It's ok) Melody smiled at him but it was pretty sad. Well I wish I could remember them, even if it were just their voice or face, I would be happy. But everytime I try my heart races and causes me intense pain. She looked at the waterbottle and froze the water out of boredom. Well my revenge wasn't taken out on only the people who killed them, but also the rest of their clan. I went into a terrifying state of sadness and anger that happens to sirens. She looked at her clock and sighed. Geez. I'm late for practice. I wonder if Mr.Antares is even in his class room.

Vincent's head was still down, but he listened to Melody's every word "Mr. Antares? He teaches Weaponry class doesn't he? I wouldn't keep him waiting... I heard from some of the other students that he can be quite cold... Glad I'm not his class" He said with a slight laugh as he lifted his head "Good luck with your class" He said while reaching down to pat Iris on her head once more.

Melody laughed and smiled at him. Well I'm not in his class I just help teach students since I am too advanced for that. Also because my brother forbid me from taking the class. Also Antares isn't as bad as people think. In fact if you saw what he used to be like you would never see him as strict. She put the bag over her shoulder and looked at Iris as she purred. Well I would invite you to spar with me for a while but you are a passafist. I mean we wouldn't be hurting each other and it wouldn't be much of a fight since I would win. She smirked at teaseing him and clapped to get Iris' attention. Alright. I don't wanna be carrying you and you move slow as a tiger so change into something hyper. Iris nodded and changed into a little girl that looked a lot like Melody. She ran around and Melody looked unamused.

"Who would have thought a Siren would help teach weaponry class... Music maybe, but that would probably cause more harm" Vincent said laughing as he remembered the incident just before "So what is Antares like really? I've never actually met the guy... I've only heard horror stories based around him" Vincent couldn't help but laugh again. He scratched the side of his face as he spoke "I don't consider myself a pacifist really... I mean I do hate fighting, but I won't just sit down and watch if a friend's in trouble... Although I doubt I'd be much help, I've got a terrible swing" As he spoke Vincent punched a fly on the wall, but as soon as he lifted his hand the fly flew away unharmed "See what I mean?" Vincent looked over to Iris, who was now a child "Can she speak like us now?" He said pointing at her

He's pretty cool once you get to know him. Also he can teach you a lot. Melody pulled a needle from her backpack and twirled it for a bit before throwing it. The needle pinned the fly by the wings to the wall. She took the fly to a window and released it. Melody looked at Iris and shook her head. Sadly no. She can only communicate in our language telepathicly but only if you are close enough to where she can trust you. Iris ran over and hugged Vincent but still said nothing verbally or telepathicly.
