animeandraia Nya I've fallen completely in love with Iced Earth. I blame you Ja. >.> *smirks* I adore Iced Earth. Ahhh, gotta love them <3 <3 <3 Fwee~!!! *dances in Iced Earth* They used to be my favourite band until I listened to Pansy Division *.* Right now I'm in an odd '60's pop band' phase. You know, Beatles and Monkees and Beach Boys...that kind of stuff. So catchy and lovely <3 HelloGoodbye is a punkish/emo band that I've been listening to often n.n

Thatre of Tragedy has slowly become a favourite too. And I now have some Pink Floyd! 60s/70s rock is the way to go.

Does Hikaru Utada go by just Utada on her English albums? If so then... yah that CD was in my player for 15 seconds. ^^V I'm so horribly picky about music. ninja
I have no clue who does the English massive. My MP3 for "Let it Rip" says it's by Ego Massive. @_@ Beyblade music is so pretty though. =D Especially the Japanese stuff. Aaron Kwok <3 Blasting Storm owns my soul.

kaotik red eyes I listen to EVERYTHING, though I have a strong affinity to hardcore and metal. I just love headbanging music <3 Screaming, growling, opera...I love it all. Emo, punk, J-pop/rock, and techno are high on the list, too~ Korean music is okay...it just seems too influenced by American culture sometimes. The only type of music that I truly hate is COUNTRY. Play it and my ears will bleed from pain. I have lots of friends who do like country, though. They've learned not to play it around me ^_^ I don't really like rap either, but it's nice music to dance to. Just as long as I can't hear the lyrics xD My favorite bands/singers: Se7en, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Iced Earth, Pansy Division (OMG I LOVE QUEERCORE XD), Coheed and Cambria, Elis, Crash, Adema, Atreyu, Demon Hunter, Zao, Underoath, and Unearth. There's more, but these are like the top *counts* 13. I like Britney Spears. Her music is quite addicting. She may be a slut but at least she's a HOT slut, right? biggrin yes korean music is ok but yeah it is way too americanized. like i can't believe some bands just put in random line of english in their songs and it's so "cool" to everybody. stare i also hate country.one of my friends like it but all my other are a non-country music supporter.

UUUUGH. I hate those random lines. I've also seen Korean songs where English takes up the majority of the lyrics. Those bug me a lot. Especially when the English sentences make no frikkin sense -.- Or have no affiliation with the rest of the song. My mom loves K-pop, though. She tries to force it on me gonk

I don't think it's really fair to bag on Korean music like that. A lot of artists will use words and/or phrases from other languages. Japanese artists use English in their lyrics a lot.
