Quothe the requirement that has been in the profiles thread ever since its start...:
ALL PEOPLE WHO WISH TO BE ELVES IN THE ROLE PLAY MUST OWN THE ITEM ELVEN EARS [PERIOD] .
I am sad to say that we need to enforce this rule, there are far too many elves. We need more active humans, dwarves, ents, and hobbits.

A reminder to all of our members: Stay active! An alarming number of our members rarely post, or haven't posted at all--please help keep our guild alive and running! Chokin and I may be sending confirmation emails out soon to verify if inactive members still wish to remain in the guild. This is listed under our rules...so please do your part. We'd appreciate it. 3nodding
And staying active is especially imperative if you are involved in the RP! We need you. surprised

I've made a thread in which ALL members must post on in order to stay in the guild. This lets us know you're still active and is a whole lot easier than sending PMs to pages of members.

Upon a request, I have changed a few rules during my process of banning inactive members:
If a member has (within a given time period):
Posted less than 20 posts
or
Donated less than 200g
(All of which shows dedication the the guild)
They will be banned.. deleted is seemingly not an option.
I have prolonged the time period before I resume any banning of inactive members. You may post on the same thread to show proof of your activity. Please read the first post for the new date and of any rule changes.

The thread has been deleted and all those who have posted on it is kept in record. However, seeing that I cannot achieve the 2nd page of members because of Gaia's many errors, sweatdrop some inactive members are still left in the guild.
Please remember:
If a member has donated less than 200g or has not made 20+ posts (all of which show some sort of dedication to the guild) then they are considered inactive.
I have gave approximately 2 weeks for members to post to show their activity.
You should always tell the guild leaders of why you will be inactive.
I have also been thinking of a possible Christmas party for the guild.
If you have any ideas you would like to contribute, I have made a thread that you may post on.

I have been getting PMs asking why one cannot be accepted into the guild. If you cannot read the previous announcments to get an idea of what's going on, here's the basics:
1. The previous member clean-up.
A while back, I created a thread announcing that all current members who wish to stay in the guild, post on that thread. I gave them approx. 2 full weeks. After that, I have banned them. You should always notify one of the guild leaders of your absence before you leave.
If you have recently got back and noticed that you're in this situation of being banned from the guild, PM me of the reasons why you could not have posted at least once within those two weeks. Don't give a sob story.
2. I was declined from the guild or Why haven't I been accepted?
Declined: You have NOT read all the requirements/rules to be fully accepted into the guild. Read everything carefully.
Not Accepted: Simply one of the guild leaders has not yet gotten to your requests yet or ...you have not filled an application to join the guild.

Christmas is less than 2 weeks away.
If you want a party or gifts, I'd suggest discussing some things a few days before that special holiday in private, on our X-mas party planning thread or on the chatterbox thread. Gaia will have something planned, I'm sure.
Otherwise, we should devise a plan other than chat and RP for the guild to participate in. Coming up with something completely original (or not) that everyone would like to do.
I had to reject quite a few applications in joining the guild.
Please read all of the requirements to join -carefully- before making your application or accepting one. Some have not did what was asked or did it partially. Re-read the thread if necessary.

And as we say good-bye to the old year and welcome the new, let us take a time to celebrate with our beloved Guild members. biggrin Tomorrow the New Years party thread opens, be sure to be there! No SPAMing, as it isn't allowed. Just have fun chatting with friends.

And remember... it's all about the characters, not the celebs. wink

Please refer to the previous post if you haven't already.
For anyone new coming in, My apologies.
We're being held back on our regular activities and are holding a semi guild meeting on how we can change the guild for the better. This will give you enough time to review over the guild to get an idea of things and if you get an idea or wish to contribute, Please do so.
Everyone is still open to create new threads or post on previous ones, But the RP is the only one so far being held back. We will have more RPing threads for you rather than having to participate in just one.

I deleted the Absentee thread, seeing it was near pointless to keep one.
Every now and then we may bring up the subject of what we plan to do with the guild due to inactivity. I believe the majority wish to keep the guild open and perhaps later in the future things will improve.
