napalm eater alright, so there are some flaws to my plan, but for the most part, the power grid should stay on for a good amount of time, and i have extra gas in my garage. plus, i live on a military base, easy acess to supplies the average public doesnt have acess to, which includes some armored vehicles. About the fast zombie thing. yes they could be fast, but someone who is already dead cannont become a zombie. the disease that causes zombification is called salenum. but scientistis have not isolated a strain of it. the virus enters the blood stream and goes to the brain. killing the host. it then takes over the hosts most basic motor functions. creating a zombie. the only reason zombies look post-dead is that they have bean biten, leaving open and somtimes rotting woulds, depending on how long the person has been a zombie. animals cannont become zombies, there bodies reject it and simply die without reanimating. and plus zombies dont eat brains or animals. And zombies do not eat brains...if they did, the virus could not spread as easily and would defeat the whole porpose of a virus and infestation. ((curtasy of the "zombie survival guide" ))
And there are many different kinds of zombies-the general rule is they at least eat flesh. I mean why else would they go after people? The only way to plan what to do is to know what caused the zombieness and what this exactly entails and how wide spread it is. So can we please stop fighting over this stupidness! grr... I'm better now... neutral

One last thing. What would zombies falling in a trench of gas do to them? If you set it on fire it would burn up quick and not kill them. So they'd get a little wet and worse smelling?

I figure if I woke up to Zombies, I'd head to the gas stations, grab my Camels...
...then head to liquor stores and grab my booze.
Then go climb atop a water tower and get shitfaced, and divebomb the bastards down below. KERSPLAT!

What, and lose my best friend? And then lock him up and play video games while you make me tea??
I find it rather unlikely you'd give me another chance, or if you did that it'd last any longer than the last one. So, I don't know. You'd be at the top of my list of those to save, but I don't really have much faith in my ability to save people.

My first order of business would be to gather up my friends who can fight then save people who can't. then go to wal-mart get some guns and ammo then make my way to the gun range. There we will get better fire powers. Then we will find a save place to barricade and send small well armed groups to search for survivors. Then after a while when we need food send groups to raid food stores and house for food and other useful items.

The first time I read through that I thought you ment that for a while after the zombie attack you wouldn't need food... at all...

The place we are staying would probably be a store of some kind so they should have some food. But if zombies did attack I suggest coming down to VA beach, because we have a lot of guns/ammo and cool s**t to loot.
