Are those Chaos Marines? Or old school Heresy-era loyalists?

Sorry about the quality Itook the pictures with my phone. Cool. Yeah it was the Mk 3 helmet that made me ask. They're cool biggrin Didn't spot the beaky Mk 7, but I still have a fondness for them. Still not sure how I feel about the Mk 8s. I blame the Angry Marines gags!

My Marines Malevolent. Drawn to the chapter by their rather Dark and Powerful Ego over their benevolence and connection to the Emperor, setting them aside from 'mortal' men and being 'Astartes' i love the fact they are a Unique chapter, and use the two colors i find hardest to paint, Black and Yellow.
Their Fluff just Draws me in! As an Armageddon contributor, and Infamous on the warstriken planet (A Captain came to blows with Tu'shan Master of the Salamanders Chapter -you might have read that somewhere- Yes, that was us ;D)
The Army is CURRENTLY being made into my 2000pts list, involving almost every aspect of the space marines to make a very fluid force that works well together, i am more a tactica player than a Terminator OD. (And will be contributing some Tactica SOON! :3) BUT, i currently am painting a Squadron of ... Vindicators, yes, 3 Vindicators was just to hard to pass up for £45GBP biggrin Also have more Tacticals, Terminators, Rhino, a Droppod, and a Venrable Dred in the works, as well as my Allstar All Metal command squad :3
I could go on forever! anyway. if you want pictures of the 'individuals' they are on my photobucket, http://s1131.photobucket.com/albums/m548/CookieTechnician/

Here's my miniature folder. I currently play Grey Knights, but prior to that, and as soon as the 5th Edition comes out, I'll be going back to Chaos. I also have several models that aren't actually Warhammer fantasy or 40k as you will see. http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b346/Ryuondo/Warhammer 40K models/The Grey Knight Terminators are my Paladins. I have yet to finish them since they each have taken upwards of 8 hours to complete. The Raptor Squad is incomplete but is painted in World Eater's in pre-heresy with a mixture of post-heresy bits which are in the current gold and red.

Specially the third edition ones when you could make them either next to nude or soon to be passing out from the latex. But yeah, I'm putting so much work into my Grey Knights. The Apothecary took me 9 hours and the and the Psycannon/Daemon Hammer wielding one took me over 8 hours. The Falcion wielding Justicar took almost 11. gonk The problem is is I want every single one to have personal heraldry painted on the leg, elbow pags, helmet, and heraldry shield on the pad. With the Strike Squad also on the pauldrons. So they take forever getting the heraldry to to look nearly identical all over. And with the Paladins, the structural supporters for the Terminator Armor are going to be gold and gold is such a weak color it just takes way too many layers to make solid. Also cant wait to get the rest of the Assassins. I'm not sure what colors I'll paint them. But I'm thinking the base for the Calexus will be Royal Blue, and Eversor Scab Red, and the Calidus green. I also really want some Death Cult assassins. I must say though, the new Dark Eldar models are GREAT for conversions. I'm going to use a Wych squad to customize me Ordo Xenos Inquisitor in Power Armor with the Power Sword and Needle Pistol using left over Assault Marine and Grey Knight Strike Squad bits.

My Space Marine chapter has a unique color scheme, or as unique as I could get. I went with Enchanted Blue for the main color of the armor. For the shoulder pads I used Snot Green with Shining Gold for the trim and decorations. A mix of Chaos Black and Boltgun Metal was used for the weapons.

What does the mix of Chaos Black and Boltgun Metal look? I was thinking about using that for Ghost Marines in a sort of Grey Knight take on the Dark Angels.

Let me get yalls opinion: 1500pts Captain Tactical squad (10) -meltagun --Drop Pod Tactical squad (10) -meltagun --Drop Pod Vindicator -Chronus -Siege shield Vindicator -Siege shield Vindicator -Siege shield Assault Marines(10) -Power Sword Assault Marines(10) -Power Sword
Total 1435pts, 65pts left for w/e
Tactica: Advance Armoured column supported by Assault marines and blast away with cannons, followed by deepstriking marines and captain and once in range Assault marines leap forth and kill.
Thats the basic Idea anyways. Or do you guys thing I should swap out Drop Pods for Rhinos?
