Jet:
Fractions of a heartbeat before he forced himself into frenzied action, Lennek froze as a great shadow passed over him, eyes widening as Ser Asinity Daes'Vega, champion of the Light and Lord Protector, inexplicably dropped from the sky in front of him and gave him a quick nod over his shoulder. It was raining paladins. He did not even have time to recover from his shock, let alone ask the thousand questions burgeoning in his mind, before the relative stillness of the air was shattered. Holy light suffused the Paladin, seeming to shine through his very soul, even leaking onto the ground at his feet, assaulting the vile flesh creations before them. The Knight turned his head with a grimace, unable to look directly at that holy conflagration, and lowered his weapon. Soon he was forced to raise a hand to block Asinity from his vision, the Light surrounding him burning into his eyes with a ferocity that was frightening.
His attention snapped up, catching a sound of whistling flight that triggered recent memories, pulling panic to the forefront of his thoughts. Sky Darkeners. The stupid paladin had practically made a target beacon of himself in saving his worthless hide. The first onslaught of arrows battered the blond elf viciously, dimming and then winking out the flaring luminesence, leaving a dark spot in the Death Knight's vision. Not out of the fight yet, and finally recovering from shock, Lennek acted quickly. As he sprinted the short distance to the injured paladin, runes shimmered over his armour and skin, fading into existence, then stretching, flattening, broadening. The Knight felt his blood frost in his veins as his entire body was covered in a thick patina of cold crystal. Skidding to stand above the momentarily weakened paladin while he groped for his hammer, he paid no heed to the rain of metal as it sheared the air around them, striking him and sinking into the crystal with a grating percussive. He ignored them, as he did the ones that bounced off, or pierced armour. Frozen gaze locked on the charging golem, a rage cold enough to burn helixed up his arm, then was flung at the ugly thing as it was almost upon them. Gelid, ice-flecked water crashed into the monstrosity, blowing past its flesh, though barely slowing it. But Lennek's arm was still outstretched. Eyes of frigid intent flashed in triumph and power, and once more the rigid wind snapped from his body in its arctic fury. This time, however, the sub-zero droplets of water flash froze as the wind blew past, coalescing around the golem in a scintillating corona of rime. Already moving, Lennek took a few steps forward, swinging his axe about with both hands, delivering a solid strike to the abomination's oversized belly with the flat of the weapon's head. Heated, blistering flesh suddenly super cooled to freezing temperatures shattered with the blow, crumbling skin and lard into fist sized pieces, while larger chunks of the thing cracked and tumbled to the ground. Lennek was already looking up, preparing to have to defend - somehow - from the next onslaught of falling death. But it never came.
Keeping a wary eye skyward, he approached Asinity, his weapon falling from his hands to land in the earth with a soft thunk as its head embedded into the blood-soaked mud. Without hesitation, and weaponless, he offered the kneeling paladin a gauntleted hand as he fought to catch his breath. Riddled with arrows and a dozen wounds, some half healed and others new, he stared down at his superior officer. A silent, boreal gaze - dangers momentarily forgotten - clouded with a nebula of mixed and confused emotions, unearthly in frosted glow. A thousand questions screamed through his head. Angry, poignant, nonsensical voices that drowned each other out and left him feeling empty. The short Knight opened his mouth, then shut it again, staring at the other Elf long after he'd stood up. Finally, one word broke through the hurricane within his mind, spoken in a grating, abrasive tone, twisted into a cold echo of living feeling.
"...Why?"

Asinity:
Asinity latched onto the death knight's hand, and with all of his strength, lifted himself up to stand before Lennek. Wicked shafts of saronite arrows stuck out from his sternum, near the weak points above his elbows, and one near the top of his thigh. Panting heavily, he eyed Lennek as the man spoke a single word.
"You were too far out..." Asinity spoke plainly, but strained with gritted teeth at his wounds. "I've...fought them before. Four would have been too many, even you know that, my friend."
The Paladin's eyes fell upon Aethroc for a moment, but he shook his head. I need to get these arrows out first, he thought. His gaze returned to Lennek.

Amirynth: Rynn looked out over the chaos and shuddered. Motioning Nutmeg closer with her knees, she took a deep breath before starting forward. The other warlocks saw her coming and gave her space as she slipped into her place with a small nod. Some were already throwing their felfire, sickly green orbs bursting out into the ghoulish masses. With a muttering, she dismissed her fel-horse and called to Yazuri, the small imp scowling at being left alone for so long. Hesitantly at first Rynn pulled back her hand, coalescing her fears into a tangible glow and hurling it at the giests before her. One fell but the other turned straight for her and started his ungainly leaping at her direction. Gulping fearfully the warlock trembled as she called upon her energies and shot another blast at the decaying creature, trying to halt its process. "Zuri!" she called out as the second bolt did nothing. The answering fireball blasted off the giest’s head, body following soon after.
"There ya go mistress, I can watch ya back!" The imp blew at his outstretched fingers before moving to his next target and flinging another fireball towards the rotten corpse.
With a nod of gratitude Rynn turned back towards the battle, trying to help stem the waves of scourge. Seconds seemed to stretch to hours, minutes shrunk to mere moments. The warlock gave all she had, sacrificing herself to get that little bit of extra power, those few moments of strength to last that little longer. With the surge of undead she found herself no longer fighting with the others but now fighting for pure survival. She turned from side to side frantically, eyes wide as she dropped out of sight for a moment, the chaos revolving around her. Calling out for Yazuri she saw him jump from one tattered skeleton to another, their bones falling apart as he did so. Forging her way towards him she was brought up short by the captain of the group of bone knights that surrounded them. He growled menacingly at her, his sword rising into the air. She gathered what little energy she had left hoping it would be enough to get through to where Zuri… she glanced over to see Yazuri fall, a large gash appearing on his side.
The owner of the offending sword turned to face him again, swinging low, his eyes glowing. Yazuri leaped up as best he could, throwing one last fireball to take out the bone knight’s arm before vanishing into a puff of smoke, the last of his energies expended, unable to keep the contact between Rynn and himself.
Amirynth’s eyes widened, her green eye loosing it’s colour until it almost matched the dead one. She turned in the next moment and blasted the Bone Knight Captain with a rage of fire. “Zuri! No!” The next group of skeletons went down in circles of flames as she raised her hands into the air as if calling the fires of hell to surround her. Her aura seemed to shimmer as a new battle ensued, the more ferocious being inside gaining access to the frail shell. Scowling in anger, her movements lithe and swift, she swung out with her sword, the sharp blade connecting with another as a second captain stood in her way. Her blade pinned against his was useless, her other side vulnerable to the advancing undead troops. “Out of the way!” She pushed back before ducking and moving to the side, her arm slipping out from under his pin, suddenly free to swing the blade down upon his exposed bones. Turning again she attacked him with a ferocity that seemed as if a mad woman resided behind those cold silvery eyes. Again she called fire to her, raining flames down upon the enemy, a surge of power flowing through her slender body. The troop fell, stinking, rotten flesh sizzling as it lay on the ground.
“MALIS!”
The call swelled through the battlefield, over the ruckus and sounds of metal. Rynn suddenly looked up green flashing through her good eye and a sudden frailness seeping into her aura. The ghoul she has been fighting pressed his advantage and clawed at her, causing her to roll out of the way. “M-m-malis? Malis!” Rynn was waking up to her nightmares, undead bodies surrounding her, pressing against her, carrying her towards an unknown direction. She sank for a moment before almost being tossed up as bony hands grabbed at her, claws with rotting flesh falling from them scratched and tore at her robes. Malis was alive? Rynn searched as she scrabbled to get out of the masses that swelled around her. She screamed once before seeing the stormy sky for the last time, covered by the bodies of the dead and undead alike.

Jonas:
Jonas watched Asinity break out away from the fight out ahead. He took in a deep breath for a moment, attempting to glide on the air to catch up. A club struck him in his chest and made him exhale the air he had built up in his lungs. "********!" he coughed and sputtered to catch his breath, raising his weapon defensively. He blocked the subsequent blow, slowing it sufficiently to get out of the way. I have to catch up to that daft fool... Jonas thought. The glint of steel caught Jonas' attention, it was a fallen crusader's sword approaching fast on his fleshy bits. He threw his left hand out and presented his wrist to the sword. The blade cut through leather but the distinct clang of metal could be heard. He flicked his wrist and pushed the sword away. Both fallen crusader and Vargul raised their weapons. Jonas lowered his.
A deep breath.
Their weapons met open air. Jonas removed the knife from it's sheath under his armor. He dug it deep into where the crusader's spine attached to it's skull and raised a leg to kick the skeleton while he pulled and wrenched on the knife to make the skeletal crusader come undone. "-s**t-!" Jonas ducked low, nearly falling on his face to avoid the Vargul's club. Over his head he heard arrows fly; the Vargul grunted. He slid the knife in his grip up to get a hold of the blade. He popped back up to his feet and threw the knife. His weapon met it's mark and lodged into the creature's eye.
Somewhere behind him he heard someone shout, "Down!" and, true to the command. Jonas dropped as another volley of arrows flew over him and into the Vargul. Jonas sucked in a sharp breath; the scourged Vrykul swung it's club down at Jonas' prone position. He slid through the air and found himself now standing on the shoulders of a bent over Vargul. His free hand clenched the knife, twisted, and pulled. His sword hand stabbed at the back of the creature's neck until it began to stick in. Feet on cross tree and hands on knife he pushed and pulled on sword and knife respectively. Another volley pounded the creature. They both fell. As he hit the snow his only thought was, I have to catch up to Asinity. Several moments passed and then a second thought occurred to him as he got to his feet. I should probably retrieve my weapons, huh.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Vanir rode hard and fast on his white warhorse; it's golden glow streaking behind the two of them as he tore across the frozen fields. He was late, but he wasn't going to miss the fight altogether. He frowned deeply, he saw the Scourge already advancing on the crusader's on the ridge and he was on the other side. He would have to fight from the back end and pray the entire crowd didn't turn around. His horse reared, Vanir drew his sword and shield from his back and rode hard.
He happened upon Asinity and Lennek and brought his horse to a halt. The diminutive paladin dismounted and ran towards Asinity and the Death Knight. He dropped down to a knee in the snow and laid his sword and shield onto the ground. "Asinity!" He glanced to the Death Knight before turning his attention again to the Paladin. "Hold still--give me some room, Knight. I--I can do this." Vanir gulped and held his hands out over Asinity. He clenched and relaxed his hands a couple of times as the Light began to gather around his fingertips at first, and then his entire hands. He held his hands out over one of the arrow wounds and the light intensified. It poured down into the wound and, slowly, the arrow lifted from his flesh as if it were of it's own accord. He did this again, and again, until all of his wounds were healed. Vanir whispered softly, "That should do it...are you okay, Mr. Asinity...?"

Sin:
Asinity clasped an arm around Vanir's shoulder and gave a nod, releasing him.
"I knew you'd make it, Vanir. Just make certain that next time it's -before- the jade rain pours down on me." He said with the slightest of grins.
A look back to where those arrows came from revealed the demise of the Sky Darkeners, and as En'Aiel's voice echoed over the communicator, Asinity raised his fist in the air to the lone death knight accross the battlefield. He then bent over and retrieved Aethroc, resting the haft against his shoulder. The battle was still raging around them, yet the Paladin could smell victory in the very air. Whether it was arrogance or a newfound hope, Asinity regained his strength and gave a stern nod, turning towards his companions.
"Alright, lads. What say we rejoin the main force and mop up this mess, eh?" He asked, thumbing towards Crusader's Pinnacle.

Jet:
The Death Knight gave the newly arrived Paladin a cold glare momentarily before stepping back. He used the time to tend to his own wounds. Lennek yanked out any arrows protruding from his armour or his flesh, or snapping off the shaft when they were too deep to pull out, figuring he'd find a solution later. He wasn't too concerned. Retrieving his axe from its discarded place on the ground, he hefted it back into its cradle on his back. Frigid gaze spanning the battlefield as he motioned for his charger to come around to his side, the young Knight knew this day was far from over. Placing a foot into one stirrup, he lifted himself up into the saddle in one fluidl motion that belied the throbbing aches and pains that crowded his body. In fact, he welcomed the pain - it helped him feel alive. Shards of ethereal suffering piercing his flesh to remind him of his choices; the mistakes of his own volition in a physical manifestation.
For the first time ever, he had to reign in the Deathcharger. It baulked, confused, and nearly reared on him. It wanted to charge into the fray headlong, to get lost in the chaos of battle, killing anything in its path that was scourge. So did Lennek. But no, he would stay with Asinity. To ensure, the Knight told himself, that the dumb Paladin did not wedge himself into any more irretreivable messes.
Still scanning the sepulchral carnage completely surrounding them, Lennek's gaze caught on a cluster of bones and rotting flesh. They were not marching; Indeed, they seem preoccupied by something, but I cannot see any-- His thoughts were interrupted by the bloom of fire within the midst of the scrambling creatures, followed by ribbons of purest darkness thrashing at one of the skeletons' limbs. Some finger-wagglers were being overtaken. It looked like most of the group had already been cut down. From his vantage point, he saw a terrified spellthrower backpedalling from the bestial advance of the aggressive scourge.
"There!" He shouted, with a brief point, before his mount charged straight for the fight. He did not slow it this time. Freeing his weapon, he shifted his weight off the animal's back into a single stirrup, holding the saddle's pommel with his left hand and wielding the axe in the other, balancing on one side of the horse even as it plunged towards the skirmish. The Deathcharger crashed straight through the middle of fray, running down a ghoul or two in its path. Lennek leaned forward, planted his free foot on the flank of his charger behind him, and leapt from the stirrup. He swung his axe forward with some starting momentum, simultaneously pushing off with the planted foot, giving him an angled spin. The double bladed axe became a whirling storm of death. He felt bones crack and split, flesh cleave and bodies crumple under the horrendous onslaught, fueling the fire of his soul. Landing in a tri-plant, he hefted axe onto his free shoulder and looked up. Despite the fact that the cluster of angered scourge was now clamboring for a chance to beat him down, he was grinning.

Sinyou:
Confusion crossed Lukein's mind the moment his hand touched the great knight's short sword. He knew how to use the weapon but the thing felt warm and alive in his hand. He did not even have to really think as he turned his defensive stance into offensive against the skeletal warriors. The boy had been growing tired, the great shield a heavy burden and his arm ached from it. Yet the moment his griped the sword he felt renewed, not indestructible, but he knew, somehow, the the sword would lend him much needed strength. Lukein had never held a magic weapon. He had seen Lord Ash'eal work on them when he studied with the Scryers but he was never let to touch one.
With every once of power in his young body Lukein faced the bone warrior's before him. He knew the the great shield was not meant to be used in combat like this. No, it was a heavy thing meant more for the protection of someone other than the bearer. It was nearly as tall as he was and at this time felt it weighed three times what he did. Lukein knew that to make this work he would need to build up a great momentum.
The sunshine haired youth prayed to the light as he dodged another close blow for the speed and skill to fight. He would not abandon Tyranithos's shield or sword even if getting rid of the the shield would make things easier. It was out of the question. He felt the light surge though his young body and fill him with a crusader's speed. Darting from one foe to the next he lead with the great shield to conceal the sword's strike. Once the sword sliced easily though the first skeletal Luken let the momentum from shield carry him around. He twisted and spun himself around and struck where he knew the next undead would be. This one he had pined under the shield. The undead thing swung what it could of it's arms at him but the shield was too wide to get around and Lukein quickly purged it of it's red eyed head.
His sword arm burned...his body jerked back as if he had been hit by a bull. He was being pushed back by a skeleton warrior who had it's spear firmly planted in his shoulder. Lukein yelled at the thing and gritted his teeth. He had to do something...How could he had been so stupid to leave himself wide open like that. One one opinion came to his mind, and he did not like it one bit. The sword was to short, the shield blocked, and he was running out of time before he fell.
Lukein had no choice. He dropped the great shield and griped the shaft of the spear. He could only hope that the spear head was slender enough to pass his mail again. He did not think this time, he just did it. Lukein pushed against the spear man and charged him. The spear head came exploding out the back of his shoulder, breaking the middle links, as the boy drove the short sword into the surprised skeleton's spine. He twisted the blade and it fell into a pile of bones. "Don't think about it Lukein, just do it." he willed himself as he griped the spear again and pulled it free of his shoulder. He did not want to cry out but he could not stop it as the medal and blood exploded from his flesh. Quickly now...hurry, no time. The boy called upon the light to heal him. A flash of light healed enough to stop the bleeding but until the end of the battle he would have to endure most of the pain. Taking up his shield again Lukein quickly took his place back up at Master Sunstriker's flank becoming a living wall for the paladin hold more ground behind. He looked for Aelwyn in order to follow her lead. The short sword he tucked safely into his belt knowing his right arm was better spent assisting with the shield at this time.

Zevron:
Tyranithos had forgotten how useful his contraptions were, as he quickly decapitated two undead warriors in front of him with his old creation. The greatsword, despite being old, shone with a silver hue. Stopping for a moment, Tyranithos looked around the battlefield, he noticed Lukein charging with zeal. A small grin came across Tyr's face as he looked around for his trusted squire. His eyes locked on the place where he last saw her, only a couple of bone piles lay now. Good, Tyr thought, she must be holding her own
The Blood Knight turned his attention back towards the ensuing battle, as Lukein joined again guarding his back. Skeleton after skeleton came charging, quickly falling to dust before Tyr's might. A sudden shreak came from somewhere to the side of him. Eyes darting, he saw Aelwyn implaed through the chest on the blade of a Death Knight, his laughter cackling throughout the battlefield.
"No!" Tyranithos yelled, already rushing towards the scene. His rage swelled green orbs locked dead on the Death Knight as he hacked and slashed a path of destruction, none were left in his wake, save the young paladin trying desperately to keep up.
"Aelwyn!" he called, "Aelwyn!" each call getting more and more desperate. Batting away the undead between him and the Death Knight as if they were nothing, he called one final time "Aelwyn!". Now he was close enough, he could see the young girl was still breathing. The Death Knight heald up a glowing hand, no doubt ready to finish off the incapacitated paladin.
No time to think, Tyr flung his greatsword at the unsuspecting scourge knight, hitting him in the chest, knocking him back. Tyranithos dove to catch the impaled woman as the Death Knight dropped his runeblade.
"Aelwyn, listen to me" Tyr wraped his arms around her, his plated hand holding up her head. "Stay with me, just hold on....." he fought back tears as he began trying desperately to heal her.
The Scourge surrounded them.
"Sir Tyranithos..." Lukein began "They are trapping us in" Lukein stood, back to Tyr, holding the Shield up, keeping the disarmed Death Knight at bay. The young boy's words fell on deft ears.
"Aelwyn.." he could hardly keep his eyes open and it took all his strength to keep the tears at bay
"Its okay Master......I served the light and tried my best...." she coughed up blood onto Tyr's breastplate.
"That you did.....You served the light well....." He wanted to say more but that is all his raging mind would let escape. She looked into his eyes and smiled as they glazed over, no more breath in her lungs.
Tyranithos was stuck in that moment, he couldn't bear it any more, a flood gate of tears came pouring out, everything went silent.
Holding as many back as he could, Lukein turned to face Tyr. "Sir....What are we going to do." The undead army slowly trapping the Knights, growing closer and closer.
"Drop the shield" came Tyr's quieted voice.
Lukein was caught off guard. "Sir?"
"Drop the shield!" he shouted once more, still on the ground holding the lifeless body of the woman who used to be his squire.
Lukein immediately let go of the shield as it slamed into the earth infront of him. Death was closing in on them.
Tyranithos stood. "You take her, That is your only duty." his eyes still blood shot and wet. "Get her body safely back to camp and don't look back." he bowed his head and closed his eyes.
Only a scant few moment passed as the army of undead were all but a step away. Tyr opened his eyes and they radiated holy energy. Spewing forth from his eye sockets and enveloping his whole body, it surged with the warm embracing energy of the light. Golden shining wings broke out the back of his breastplate, large and bright enough for everyone in the battle to see. Tyranithos's body curled inward and then a second later exploded as a blast of holy energy surged forward out of him in every direction, laying waste to hundreads of lesser undead in a large radius.
The battle seemed to stop. Tyranithos stood, his wings wide, eyes glowing with immense power and body crackling with holy energies. He motioned his head for Lukein to hurry and go. His eyes locked on the Death Knight, his body seething with pain from the blast, however still standing, disarmed gazing at Tyranithos with unhuman eyes.
"Nice move, however you failed to finish me off." the Death Knight cackled in his icy cold tone.
Tyr's eyes narrowed glaring at the monster before him. He opened his mouth as he let out the most devious phrase Tyranithos Sunstriker had ever spoken.
"I was saving you for last"
Tyranithos began running full speed at the warrior infront of him his full plate armor seemeing weightless. The Death Knight started throwing bolt after bolt of sickly green shadow magic directly at Tyr, however they all bounced off as Tyr closed the distance between them. He reached up grabbing the cold undead neck of his adversary, with near god-like strength lifted him off the ground.
"What.....Are you.." The Death Knight managed to say.
Tyr looked at him, his glowing orbs shining brightly as he boldly and confidently opened his mouth.
"I am a shining beacon of hope in this dark abysmal fight, I am savior, I am vanquisher, the envoy of The Light, but above all I am Tyranithos Sunstriker, and I am your end."
His free hand balled into a fist as the holy energy surrounding him gathered into one glow, encompassing his fist, as he cocked back his fist and swung.
This one's for you Aelwyn
A blinding light exploded from the scene as his fist made contact to the Death Knight's head. Once it cleared Tyranithos stood, drained of all energy, as he dropped the headless body of what used to be his foe.
Tyranithos collapsed to the ground, his last thought was of Aelwyn's smiling face.

"Wahoooo!" An Argent fell to her blade, "Ya man!" The large troll Death Knight swung her axe victoriously as she forged her way through the masses of allicance and horde alike. The runed blade bit into her foes, Spinning around she cleared out a large swaft of alliance before her, the power of the Lich King screaming through her veins. With another battlecry the troll swooped down into the new wave of men which replaced the last brave souls. Scowling she felt her feet rooted to the ground as a nightelf nearby chanted her spell to some forsaken goddess of the moon. Snarling a challenge, Imani lunged at the druid and struck out with her axe, the force of ice behind it. Again she struck, red hair escaping her thick red braid, hoping to beat down the user of magic and regain the use of her legs. The second hit was successful and the nightelf's life was forfeit, her blood staining the ground as she crumpled around an axe that glowed with an unearthly icy look.
Imani turned and blocked a large sword with her shaft, the metal clanging against metal and ringing in her ears. A yell of grief followed with her answering growl and she pushed away from the male nightelf. Swinging low she felt her axe connect with his leg and twisted, trying to prevent him from moving away into the frey. The Death knight chuckled evilly as she spread her fingers and an unhealthy glow shifted around them. Lashing out with her hand the glow transferred to the warrior, boils spreading over his skin as the diseases started to course through his body. With a cackle she twisted her hand to the side and lashed out again. This time the diseases spread from him to the nearby comrades, their hands clasping to their throat and falling to their knees. She stood over the warrior's twitching body and stared down at him.
Finish him...
The voice speared through her mind laced with the frozen touch that gripped her soul. She rose her axe into the air and dropped it onto the warrior, the blade biting into his back, ending his life. Standing back up Imani arched her back and let out a great warcry, frost in her veins, anger boiling through her body, trying to find a way to be free before it was covered once more by the colder rage of the Lich King. Eyes burning an icy blue she turned to attack the next target, swinging mightily, her axe hungering for blood, her soul hungering for vengeance and control. "For the Lich King!" Imani moved towards the edge of the fray, where the fighting was fast and thick. Bashing her way through a rabble of warlocks that were fighting against a skeleton mass of bone knights she looked around for something else to sink her teeth into.

Asinity:
From within the lines of the Scourge, Asinity saw the glowing wings of Tyranithos against the rotting darkness surrounding him. A look back to Lennek, and Asinity raised his voice as loudly as he could.
"Lennek, Sunstriker is in trouble! I will join with him!" He started, and turned to Vanir. "Go where you're needed the most, Warden! I go to Tyranithos, you may follow if you wish."
Asinity flexed his right hand for a moment, tendrils of Light rising from his gauntlet like golden steam. With a nod of approval, he raised his greathammer and charged through the ranks again, this time towards his fellow Paladin. This sortie through the Scourge ranks was as easy as the first, albeit shorter than the last. Both the ranks of the Scourge and the Argent Crusade had thinned significantly, and a few commanders had been killed on each side. The disarray of battle was everywhere; lines were out of formation, broken spirits led to frenzied retreats, and lone warriors stood cutting down swathes of their enemies.
For this Paladin's part, Asinity fought well on his own, especially since he was behind his enemy. The spines of the Scourge were bare and unarmored to him, and his fervor was enflamed again as the weakness of his enemies to his own strength became evident to him. He had blessed Aethroc with the Light before his charge, so that if its sheer force did not end his enemies, their weakness to its magical effects would. I'll need all I can get if I'm to reach him in time, he thought.
Craning his neck during a brief respite in his charge, he saw Tyranithos in combat with a death knight, his wings still alive and glowing. Light, so many are still in his service. For a moment he also glimpsed Lukein, and smiled at the boy's fortune. He would have to get to them fast, he knew.

Sinyou:
The boy did not like leaving Tyranithos alone, he did not want to flee from the battle to the safety of the camp, but in the same breath he knew the importance of his task. There might still be a way to save this woman...the priest would know. Right? He was exhausted and Aelwyn secured in all her gear proved to be a much greater burden than the shield. He could carry her on his back, it would be easier that way. No, that might damage her. Lukein instead cradled her close to his chest.
His eyes grew wide as he witnessed the knight's transformation. The holy light that radiated from him slue the undead but energized him just enough so that he might actually make it off this bloody field. Tyranithos nodded and Lukein took off like the wind itself. Young legs still a little too long stride quickly over the battle field. He avoided pockets of individual battles, and the litter of battle as easily as the deer avoid roots and trees.
What the youth lacked in strength he more than made up for in nimble speed. Something tired to topple him and his delicate cargo but he recovered quickly and never broke stride. His ragged golden hair trailed behind him and shone like a pale star in the cosmos. He was now entranced and nothing more mattered than his mission. His body reacted without his mind having to instruct it. The youth leaped over a fallen charger with effortless grace. In this battle the light had been with them all, bright and screaming away the unholy taint. It was a sword, a cry, a shield, but now it was nothing so vengeful in the boy. He was filled with the soft light that filters down into the dark forest and shimmers on swift moving brooks. It calmed his mind and sooth his weary body as he picked up speed toward the camp. Tyranithos was counting on him.

Eniki:
Eniki stayed in the back, behind the charge, but his reach was far. The frost-haired priest had lost contact with the shadow aspect of himself, but the Light had not abandoned him. His hands raised the moment the first charge began and words of prayer came unbidden, automatically to his lips. He had lost Rynn somewhere in the din, but kept warily on the lookout for her. Holy Light rolled off of him in waves, as if suddenly the battlefield had become an ocean. He did not concern himself with its direction or who it targeted, the Light would know, find those most wounded and soothe them.
As the battle raged on, he edged closer to the action. A holy shield protected him and made his stark visage even more so against the snow. He closed his eyes, his hands out and began to spin slowly in a circle, lips moved constantly as he washed fighter after fighter in Light. In that moment, for Eniki Duskshadow, the world stood still, the seconds ticked down to eons, as the Light flowed through him, used him as its conduit to keep those that fought around him, those that fought for the Light, alive.

Sin:
Asinity finally made it to Tyranithos when the man had exhausted all of his power, laying upon the ground while crusaders surrounded him in defense. Sending another bolt of Light into the air, he signalled his drake companion, Meraxes, and attempted to lift the man to his feet, draping one of Tyranithos' arms over his shoulders. Fighting in his own plate mail had been tiring enough, but bracing another man against himself who was just as heavy, proved to be about as much as Asinity could handle.
"It'll just be a moment, Tyr. Hang on for me." Asinity spoke, hearing the paladin's labored breathing.
The red drake circled the clearing for a moment as crusaders fought to push the undead back all around Asinity and Tyranithos. Once there was enough room, it landed and Asinity walked his fellow paladin over to the dragon. Gently, he helped him mount upon the saddle, and gave the drake a pat on its great neck.
"Take care of him, alright? There should be a few medics left at the Argent Vanguard, and his squire is hopefully heading that way." The blond knight said, pointing southwards.
"Very well, but you will have to return this favor, Asinity. You're my errand-elf for the next century. Deal?" Meraxes responded, low-toned and hoarse.
"Of course, of course."
Asinity gave his companion a wry grin, and patted it on the neck once more. Beating its wings, the red drake left the ground and flew southwards towards the Argent Vanguard. Light be with you, friend. Asinity raised an arcane device to his mouth.
"Alright, everyone. Let's finish this up. Fall back to the front lines and find me. It's time to end this."

Jet:
Bones rained from the air. The blood-soaked earth further pummeled with shards of ice, chunks of misshaped sinew, and gnarled, osseus snags hacked into bits.
And still the Knight did not slow.
Frosted blade a blur, Lennek did not linger in any position long enough to be touched by a weapon of the indolent scourge, his axe brutally severing any resistance it met. With the assistance of a few bone-shattering kicks from his Deathcharger, the cluster of undead around him was reduced to nothing but a macabre shrapnel in a matter of minutes.
Hunkered down low in a stance of readiness, his gelid gaze swept the immediate area looking for more foes to sate his unquenchable battle thirst. He saw something humanoid stir, and nearly sliced its head off before realizing it was what was left of the cadre of spellcasters. What do you know, they're alive. Staring at them briefly, he met the gaze of one young Blood Elf girl wearing a robe of some kind. A small part of his mind railed against the horrid realized that he must have looked a beast - crouched low, axe slung defensively over one shoulder, breathing hard, covered with wounds and blood, the ground around him littered with the bones and rotting flesh of their enemies, and his eyes shining in preternatural, northern light. He dismissed the notion as truth; he looked as he was.
He snapped his head up as he heard a jeering battle howl, in time to see an axe falling at him with frightening speed. He ducked his shoulder and rolled to the opposite side, barely pulling away with his arm still attached to his body. Furious, he rose to see a Troll Death Knight come about with her axe, and point it at him.
"Ya be in mah way, mon!" She taunted, then motioned rudely at the few living struggling to their feet behind him, "Once ah be cuttin' ya pretty face in two, Ah be choppin' t'em t' bits, ya'know!" Her tusked maw split as she roared in laughter, the chilling sound laced with frozen death.
Lennek rushed her, snapping his axe about in a feint to the left, his real strike a frosted dagger of shorn ice closing at her other side. The Troll moved with impossible quickness, stepping back from the icicle as it dispersed back into floating, harmless runes, and batting aside his arm. Then she stepped close and headbutted him square in the face. Staggering backward, Lennek wiped the grime from his eyes and stared at her, the anger raising from him in almost palpable waves, his mouth twisted into a bared grimace. Wordlessly, she beckoned him with a hand, mockingly batting her eyelashes.
Growling with unrestrained rage, he charged again, swinging his axe down in a two-handed diagonal strike from his left, keeping his weight distrubuted evenly, ready to improvise. Inexplicably, she was suddenly outside his range to his right, chopping his arm with her own weapon. Her axe sunk deeply into his armour at the upper arm, shearing through most of the metal but stopping there. Lennek took the hit with a grunt, releasing the weapon with his right hand and side-stepped, snapping his elbow out to crash satisfyingly into her neck with bone-bruising force. Pressing his advantage, Lennek swung around the other way, spinning his axe with him and collecting momentum, driving his weapon upwards at her hips. Frantically, the troll lifted her weapon to parry. Runic weapons clashed with the sound of metal shrieking, and both angry gazes locked in a hushed moment of quiet stillness.
An explosion of sickly magic rent the air. Runes flew from the clash in every direction to dissolve into nothing, buffeting both Knights away from the tangle and deafening everyone around them momentarily. His opponent rose her weapon and stared in disebelief at a deep cleft that spanned half its head, rendering it useless. Her gaze shifted to him, unholy indignation flaring from gelid eyes.
"You!! Look't ya did!!"
The elf Knight paused to pull the ruined bracer from his arm, ignoring the blood dripping from the new wound, then grinned at her in silent triumph.
Suddenly, he perked an ear, hearing a familiar voice behind him. It was... Ser Asinity? Unable to resist, he turned around to see the young girl caster behind him looking down at an odd stone by her food, her green eye still wild with fear Had the voice come fr--
"Son of a b***h!!" Lennek swore in pain, turning back to see the other Death Knight actually biting into his exposed forearm. He planted a boot in her gut and gave a vicious push, tearing her from his arm painfully and unbalacing her enough to have her topple over backwards. "What in hell is wrong with you!?" He was inspecting the nasty-looking bitemarks on his arm, looking up in time to watch the other Knight running off, throwing colourful words of her own over her shoulder.
"Curse ya, mon! Ah be comin' for ya! Ya be watchin' ya back!"
Eyes charged with animosity, the Knight was about to run after her when a hand gripped his mangled forearm, the light touch alone lancing sparks of electric pain up his body.
"Ow! ********!" He spun, brandishing the weapon for half a moment.... to see the Sin'dorei girl standing there, staring at him with wide eyes.
"You n-n-need healing..." She looked up at him, her whole body visibly trembling with the effort of standing. "Asinity... he..." She paused and hoped that this new Death Knight was on their side and had heard what Lord Asinity has said.
Throwing a glance over his shoulder showed the other Death Knight to be long gone. "Fine, we go back." Glancing around, he found his charger nearby, gleefully stomping on still-wriggling bits of severed skeleton. At least it was still having fun. A brief flex of his power had the thing coming towards him in a trot. He spoke to the spellcaster without looking at her. "Need a ride?"

Eniki:
Khenti Sunseeker dropped from his proto-drake to the highest ledge that would afford him footing and the large grey and white cat dropped next to him. Maahes turned his crystal blue eyes up at the elf he traveled with and then down at the battle that raged below them. The pale, red-haired hunter pulled a massive crossbow from his back, that he hefted with ease, and set about loading bolts into it. "Go on..." he said softly to his companion, almost casually.
Maahes did not need to be told twice. With an earth shattering roar he lept from the rock face and into the fray. Landing on the back of a flesh giant, his claws dug in deep and his glowing jaws latched into the skin and under the spinal column. He shook his head, his dagger-like teeth slicing through the flesh, exposing the bone and tearing through the spine, snapping it, crushing it. The cat rode the giant to the ground as it fell dead, before he picked a new target. With one swipe of a heavy paw, he opened the heavens and smote the nearest enemy with a strike that only a spirit beast could deliver.
Khen waited for the column of energy from his companion, and with a sly smirk, as if he deeply enjoyed the activity, he took careful aim into the fray. His accuracy was uncanny, almost as if he anticipated the movement of each enemy he dropped. He aimed specifically for the back of the enemy line, raining down arrows from on high.
