I'm not to fond of essays, last semester I was whipping out an essay or two at least every week. 6 pg philosophy essays, 4-5 pg LBED essays, it was rough.

Eva Dramatica Im an English major and essays are just the warm up, last semester I had a combined 40+ pages written for term papers. gonk I would love to major in English, (I was correcting papers for just about everyone in my dorm during the first semester... I had a bunch of people come up to me when I went back to visit and thank me for helping them get A's and B's in their English classes) except that my calling is abroad. That, and unless you have a really clear goal, and start shooting for it right away, there is not that much you can do with an English degree! xp

If I really work at essays I can pull off amazing grades. But since grade 11 I've gotten into the writing things last minute routine. ._. Unless it's a history paper. No matter how hard I work at a history paper I ALWAYS get an 82%.

The funny thing is, this isn't just for one class. Over my whole of high school all my history term papers yeilded a 82%. I'm not sure weather it was a blessing or a curse...

The way they test us Sophmores on the CAHSEE is very stupid...
They teach us to develope rough drafts and then slowly Make a final draft, a 3 day prossess...
yet, they do a 180 and say "You have an hour to get a final draft, heres a piece of crap for you topic *sets down a steaming pile of doodoo*...hehe its not even spelled right whee , well goodluck, see you in an hour, and remeber, any mistakes and we burn you to death xd " *they slam the door*... ninja

Nafariously_Ploted This is me procrastinating. I have an essay due tomorrow night at 11:55pm (thanks to my school having lovely internet courses), and I am doing just about everything that I can up to writing the essay itself. >.< It is not that writing essays are hard, it is just that I am weird and strangely whipping one out within the last hour. I work better. And I can yell atpeople who bother me, and have a good reason. sweatdrop Bleh, I hate essays. >>; I have to do my homework still. But I hate my teachers so much.... I don't think I really want to do my homework. >>; just kidding about that. >>

Luckily, AP classes prepared me well for writing essays. They made us practice for those tests so many times over... by having to write according to the test guidelines. That ment about 3 very well constructed essays in a 50 minute class period, and a DBQ in another.

I hate writing essays. Especially term papers to graduate high school stressed I wrote my paper 6 times! SIX TIMES!!! And I kept getting like an 80 or an 85, saying that my works cited page didn't match the one she had done as an example. CHEESEY BISCUITS!!! I just gave up and settled for an 80 on it. As long as I pass I'm happy as a pie and that's all that matters. whee

To earn a GPA based schlarship, I have to have above a 2.0 (c) and maintain it. blaugh
