Manami giggled slightly, she smiled at him glad that she wouldn't have to be alone on her way to the Southern Cities. There was a slight blush on her face, it was strange talking to some one but it was embarrassing that she forgot how.

Fayt looked at the sky, seeing that it was still dark...Like awlays but judged that it was getting close to night now. "Are you warm enough? I could ask the trees to move closer to help keep us warm." he said without really thinking much of how it sounded when he asked her that.

Manami hated the night it was always too cold to bare, he asked if she was warm enough but she was never warm anymore, the only way she would be warm is when the sun shines again and brings back life to the world. her thoughts stopped when he told her about the trees, she just looked at him as if she wasn't sure if she heard him right. "Ask the trees to move?"

"Err, I was raised by a Druid, I know how to talk to nature." he said blushing at the way it sounded, "What I mean is that I can ask plants and animals things, like these trees and with some of my power they can move as if they had legs." he said trying to explain to her what he meant without sounding like he was out of his mind.

She titled her head to the side not fully understanding what he was telling her. Looking around at the trees she wanted to see if it would really work and it was cold having something to block the wind and cold would be nice. Looking back at Fayt she nodded "Could I see them move?"

"Umm, yeah sure." he said, feeling slightly embarassed. CLosing his eyes he whispered under his breath for a few minutes, seemingly having a converstation with the trees around them. After a few minutes the snow on the trees fell, as the tree shook themselves once, and with a groan of wood moving, the trees began to pull themselves closer to each other in a circle around the two.

Manami was both amazed and frightened at the same time, as the trees got closer with every movement she drew her knees closer to her chest, as if trying to stay away from the strange happening.

"They won't hurt you." he smiled at her reaction, "These trees are friendly, and they haven't felt warm in a long time from what they've told me."

"You can hear them speak aswell?" She looks around at all the trees not knowing that trees could speak. She wasn't afraid anymore, she just watched close as the trees moved around them. "Even the trees are effected by this curse." she thought outloud "how sad"

"It is, they miss the sun just as much as any of us do." he said shaking his head sadly, his eyes looking lost for a moment, "They do have a unique way of speaking though. The soft sounds they make, like the rustling of the leaves, the creaking of the branches, all of it means different things just as the words we speak have different meanings." he said, changing the subject. He didn't think that talking about the cold, even if partly mentioning it would be a good idea, call him superstious but he felt that each time the cold was mentioned, those from the north would know imeadiatly.

Manami looked to the sky, nothing but a clouded gray. "I miss the sun too" Noticing Fayt's change in subject she didn't say anymore about it. The trees blocked most of the wind and gave the fire a chance to heat, she stayed close to the fire never wanting to leave its glow.

With a sigh Fayt leaned against one of the trees and shut his eyes, lost in thought for more than a few minutes. He drummed his fingers on his staff as he thought over what had happened in the past few months, trying to find a reason on why the Frozen ones had decided to spread this endless winter. It just didsn't make much sense, there was peace, there had been peace....

Nai-Hi strolled through the snow, her parasol covered her face. She was returning to the North after her misson was compleat in freezing a town that hid Southern warriors. She froze in her tracks when hearing vocies coming from close by. Seeing far off in the snow the had gathered together in an unnatural way. Without getting any closer she waved her hand and gust of wind headed towards the trees. As soon as the dark wind made contacted with the trees they started to freeze with a black layer of ice. Slowly the trees started to die and the area started to freeze in time.

Manami quickly held herself, trying to keep warm. A sudden chill rushed through the trees, she looked at each of them to see if they had move and let in the cold but it was much worse that that. She screamed as ice started to kill the trees. They moaned and creeked as the ice consumed the forest. She was speechless unable to understand what was happening.
