Gothic_Romantic ...and the Egyptian gods have a limited supply of Sa, or magical blood that keeps them the gods that they are. In short, it's limited. When it's gone, they aren't gods anymore. But yeah, it doesn't really state WHEN they'll perish, just how. ...as I said. lol

Ragnarok is something hard to have feelings about. It basically is the destruction and renewal of the world, my only real feelings on it are that I oddly wish Jormungand and Fenris didn't die. Ultimately how were they bad? True, they were the sons of Loki and were prophicised to cause the downfall of the Aesir (Or was it Vanir? Crap, I'm a little rusty on my norse...), but ultimately they did nothing wrong until Ragnorok itself, and that seemed more like revenge for being treated like crap.

I see that somebody has studied a bit of mythology.
...and it's Aesir.

Thanks, and meh. sweatdrop I loved norse while still in public high school and got really into a few books about it, so I know more from that than other areas of mythology like Greek, Egyptian, and Celtic... Though I know some from them, hopefully I'll be able to learn a lot more from you guys.

Did you miss the fact that Jorgamund would ahve eaten the world were his tail not in the way, and also the fact that FENRIR ATE MY HAND? Geez, you guys never took any notice of the hand.

Why? It's just a hand. I mean, geez, you don't see people freaking out everytime someone loses their head. Right?

Look, I have to live with it. I don't get a new arm, like Nuada managed to, and, er, most people don't exactly get the chance to complain after they lose their head (literally, not proverbially, speaking). But the people around them tend to be pretty hacked off. Plus I was right-handed to start off with; you try learning to use your other hand from scratch!
Rant over.
Anyway, what about Jorgamund trying to eat the world? And Thor, actually, when he accidentally caught the serpent using an ox's head?

Speak for yourself I'm not American.
Actually, the only thing that I regret about the Fenrir incident was that I didn't use my left hand. But since it's the right that's given for a pledge... meh.
