Lyzan groaned, waking up and scratching his head. Here we go... he grumbled, glaring at the dragon. "Would you shut the hell up already?! I barely touched you. All I did was play and lay you down on my bed. Your the one who cuddled up with me you perv. It's four in the morning so let me sleep..." he spat back, laying down in bed once more before closing his eyes and trying to get back to sleep.
Although, with all the yelling, he couldn't. Getting up, he went to his drawer, grabbing a shirt and pants. Tossing on the clothes, he sat back down and sighed. They didn't have classes for a couple hours. Going towards the bathroom, he glanced over at Adar. "By the way, dragon. Your naked." he reminded and closed the door to get himself ready.
After finishing in the bathroom, he stretched and looked out the window. Still dark as predicted. Laying down on his bed, the elf held his hand out, palm down, then flipped it over, his magic cards in hand. Making sure they were ready when needed, he made them disappear. Grabbing his violin case, he took out the instrument and bow. He tuned the instrument, making sure it was perfect. They were going to have a lesson on weapons today. He knew about all this so he didn't really have anything to do.

Adar only growled as he grabbed underwear, low rise dark denium jeans and and longsleeved, gray half shirt from his drawers. His school day started in an hour so had to get ready and run down to breakfast. Dragons liked to be warm when they slept. At the moment he was hating his body. The elf had been warm so naturally he had scooted closer.
At the comment on his nakedness he turned on his heel and threw a fire ball at the door. Instead of the door catching fire and burning down the door only recieved a sizeable scorch mark. Looked like the head master had thought of this situation and had the door dragon fire proofed. He had a feeling the rest of the room was fire proofed as well.
He dressed and waited for Lyzan to come out. Then he dashed in to brush his teeth and hair, not even bothering with closing the door. "You slow a**!! Some of us have morning classes!!" he said once his teeth were done and he was brushing his hair. He put it into it's usual braid before he rushed from the bathroom, grabbed his back pack, and bolted from the room.
Once at the cafitieria he piled his tray high with food and went to sit at a table by himself. He wasn't feeling very socialable.

The elf sighed to himself. If only the dragon had never woken up.
Making his way down to the cafeteria, Lyzan simply grabbed a peach and a few strawberries before heading outside to refresh himself. Sitting under a tree, he began eating. He never did eat much. If he did, he always got sick so he was limited to eating. Numerous thought traveled through his mind at the moment. Things like 'Why me?' and 'Damned little punk...' and 'Go back to sleep already!'
After hearing the first bell for classes, the elf stood, finishing up his strawberries before making his way over to the classes, taking his usual seat. All the while, he stared at the empty seat beside him, meant for his partner. Growling lowly to himself, he muttered under his breath: "If he says one more smart-a** remark, I'm breaking his arm..." before glancing around the room. A lot of people had their new partners with them. They seemed to be getting along well, unlike him and his own 'partner'.
It was only morning and they already wanted to kill eachother. Opening a book, Lyzan began reading. Formulas... formulas... numbers... questions... a book that most people wouldn't find very interesting. He, on the other hand, loved books with lots of problems. Later, he would have to correct the dragon's behavior. It was horrible.

(( XD Oh gosh!! He's going to try and train Adar!! LOL This is going to be fun to watch. ))
Adar made it to his morning classes on time after having two heaping helpings of breakfast. As he left he saw some of the students staring at him from the corner of his eye. No doubt they were wondering where he put all of the food because he hadn't gained a pound. If he had had more time he would have had a third helping. But it had been time for class.
His last morning class before his class with his partner had been combat class, in other words, gym. He had just taken a shower and was still tired. The worst of it was he was hungry, again. He walked into the room and went to straight to his shared desk with out saying a word to Lyzan. He sat down and promptly put his head on the desk. He had the first three buttons of his shirt undone and his hair was still damp from his quick shower. He smelled good, like spice.
He looked at Lyzan with half open eyes. "You. Got any food? I'm starving," he said. As if on cue, his stomach growled loud enough for Lyzan to hear. He poked at the other's arm. "You hear me? Do you have any food?" he asked, a little louder. He was hungry and in a class room, not a good place for him to be.

Staring at the dragon, Lyzan sneered. "Your so.... fine." he said softly, trying not to interrupt the class. Could this dragon be any more obnoxious?Raising his hand, he stood. "May we be excused?" After recieving a nod, he grabbed up the dragon and pulled him out of the classroom and into the hall. "We can go to the kitchen in the cafeteria... Don't make a mess of it." he groaned and opened the cafeteria kitchen doors
The elf, instead of eating, went to go sit down. Waiting would take a while. Dragons always seemed to have voracious appetites. "Don't take to long." he warned, doing a few tricks with his cards. Hey, if you weren't going to fight with them, you might as well learn magic card tricks.
After about ten minutes, Lyzan sighed, heaing into the kitchen. "You quite done?" he questioned, seeing Adar still shoving food down his throat. What was with this kid? He had eaten so much food and yet he hadn't gained a pound. Where did he put it all? Maybe he burned it during training... maybe

The dragon stared back, not caring that the other was sneering at him. He couldn't help he was hungry. He didn't say anything as he dragged out of the room and taken to the kitchen. When they arrived at the kitchen the dragon nodded his head and then went to town on the food.
The kitchen was in an uproar when Lyzan came in to check on Adar. The dragon had several empty plates in front of him and the kitchen staff was still bringing him food. They were obviously afraid of the dragon. They didn't want to be eaten so they were feeding him everything they had prepared. Adar looked up from his meal and swallowed his bite of food. Even though he ate a lot he was still using manners. "Almost. Thank you Lyzan for bringing me here," he said. Then he went back to eating. Three heaping plates and several bowls of soup later Adar was done. He drank a glass of water and thanked and appologized to the staff.
Then he stood and went over to Lyzan. "Now I am done," he said. He stretched, finally feeling full. A dragon could starve in a school. Not many were willing to dish out the about needed to fill one up and if he went hunting bad things could happen. At least if he hunted alone. He looked at Lyzan thoughtfully then before he passed him and left the kitchen. Technically he wasn't alone anymore, but he and the elf didn't like each other at all. Could he trust the other to keep up and keep him under control.
Deep in thought he didn't pay attention to where he was going and walked straight into some one. He blinked in surprise and stepped back before looking up at the person. "My appologies," he said. THen he saw who it was and his appology turned into a growl. THe other person sneered at him.
"Pigging out again dragon? Afraid to lose control?" he mocked.
Adar glared at him. "Salamander. Didn't you come to do the same?" he asked. Two species that should never be near each other were the fire salamander and the dragon. Both were fire creatures with a deep rooted hate and competiviveness with each other. You could feel the tension between the two males.

The dragon actually had good manners. Probably just not towards him. Shrugging it off, Lyzan followed, staying quiet, besides the returned 'Your welcome.' that was given. Then, when Adar and the other male were speaking, something rose in his chest. He didn't really know what but, he felt as though he should take the dragon away.
Grabbing Adar's arm, he stood between the two. "We're leaving, and so should you..." he said in a low but careful voice. Once he had gotten Adar to start moving again, he stopped beside the salamander. "Don't you ever speak to my partner like that again, or you'll never eat, or talk for that matter." he muttered, tone still low, no longer careful, just full of venom.
With that being said, he followed Adar back to class. It would be over very soon so there was nothing to worry about. Lyzan already knew this lesson. They had already gone over it before. Just a simple review. Sitting back in his seat, the elf stretched and laid his head down.
He didn't know exactly why, but he felt oddly responsible for the dragon now. What had just happened made him feel more heated than he had been in a while. Huh... all this started when the dragon became my partner... maybe the head master knew what he was doing after all..." after that, the bell rang and they were all dismissed.
Making his way to art class, the elf sat down at his specified canvas. Paint already set out. One of the girls again. They always did this for him, although he could always tell which it was by the pattern they had put the paint. Red, then green, purple, yellow, orange, blue, white and black. This time it was Ami. This was her preferred pattern. He would have to thank her.
Looking across the room, he smiled at Ami who's cheeks flushed a soft pink as she smiled back. Giving a small wave and mouthing a 'Thank you', she nodded and looked down at her own paint, blush becoming brighter. Lyzan chuckled and began painting, letting his body do what it wanted.

Every single one of his intincts were screaming at him to attack, to kill. He could already taste the blood. Sweet, warm, and salty. It would have the taste of anger and pain mixed in. His mouth almost watered as a snake like hiss issued from his now bared teeth. He didn't know when he bared them, but the other was doing the same. He wanted to rip the other's throat out. He wanted...... Then he felt someone grab his arm and then Lyzan was seperating them. The elf was saying something, he knew it, but he didn't understand. He was thinking as a Dragon, not as a human or other creature. Instinct.. He wanted to act on his instincts and at the moment the most powerful instinct was the instinct to kill the salamander. He didn't notice as he was moved along. He had to regain control. By the time they were back in the class room he had regained control of his more vicious instincts. He listened attentivealy to the class even though it was a review.
When the bell rang he stood and left the room. He had music class. Once in the room he got his flute out and put it together. The teacher called the band together and they began warm ups. Then they started practicing a piece of music from Chopin. Music calmed him and if you played the right kind, could lull him to sleep. Of course they never played anything that could put you to sleep in band. The head master suggested he take this class to help him remain calm. Last year he had had problems controling his vicious side. When the head master found out he could play flute the man had put him in band. Adar was glad he had. The class was over all too soon. Adar took his time cleaning his instrument before putting it away in its case. Then he put it in his cubby and locked it safely away. He left the room to go to his next class.
He had almost made it to his class room with out insident when the salamander from before appeared from around the corner. This time there was no Lyzan to stop him and the too males pounced on each other at the same time. They tumbled out the window, breaking the glass as they went through. As they dropped their clothes shredded as they turned into what they truely were. Adar was a eight foot silver dragon youth and the salamander was a six legged fire engine red salamander with black spots on his back and cruel yellow eyes. Claws and fangs found flesh as they hit the ground. They tumbled, hitting trees and the building. Roars of pain and hisses of anger came from the squiming ball of limbs and bodies. Fire, both red and silver sometimes shot from their mouths, burning the other combatant and some part of the school grounds or a student. Both wanted blood. They had no intention of stopping till they had killed the other.
Some students screamed and ran, not wanting to die from the fight. Others gathered around in a moving circle to watch the rare beasts fight. Still others went to find a teacher which was rather pointles since any near by teacher had heard the fight by now and were coming out. Students and teachers alike poured from the building to see and try to stop the fight. Adar gave a piercing shriek as the salamander broke his right elbow. Some winced from the sound of the bone breaking. The dragon retaliated by tearing a hunk of flesh from the salamander's back.

All at once, a wave of concern ran through the elf. He grabbed up his violin and hurried down the hall. Then an odd cracking sound. Then it hit him. "Adar..." he then took out the violin, throwing the case to the side and playing a loud screeching note, causing everyone, including the dragon and salamander, to have to stop and cover their ears. Once getting the two creatures to stop, Lyzan concentrated his energy, getting his shadow to hold down Adar while he, himself went for the salamander. Razor-sharp, steel card in hand, he held the creature by it's throat.
"I thought I made myself clear earlier. You. Do. Not. Mess. With. My. Partner." he clarified, glare intimidating and full of desire. Desire to slaughter this creature right here and now. But he was above this. Instead, he chanted a few words before putting an odd card on the salamander's forehead. "Seal..." His shadow did the same with Adar. Slowly, but surely, the two creatures turned back to their human forms.
"Either you two get a grip or I will get it for you." he yelled at the two. Then going back to glaring at the salamander, he tightened his grip around his throat. "I don't ever want to see, hear or even smell you around Adar again or it'll be your a**." he then stood, giving the salamander a good kick to get him moving. Walking over to Adar, the elf cursed under his breath and pulled the dragon to his feet, taking not that they would need to go to the nurse.
Lyzan took off his shirt (assuming that their clothes were gone) and adjusted it so that it was now on the smaller male, covering everything that could cause embarrassment. "Come on. We're going. Now." he pulled the shorter male along.

The screeching note had the wanted effect on the two battling beasts. They pressed themselves to the ground and snarled. Then Adar felt himself being held down and he couldn't get free. He struggled a bit before he jarred his injured shoulder. After that he laid still. He watched as the salamander got simaler treatment except that the other's life was being threatened. The salamander glared back at Lyzan defiently.
Then a card was placed on their heads and Lyzan chanted a few words. Adar blinked when he found himself returned to human form. He made a note to tell the elf not to force change him when he was consious again. It was excruciatingly painful and bad for his injured limb.
He blinked up at Lyzan when told to get a grip. He had one and he wasn't the one yelling in public. He didn't say anything though. He just laid there till Lyzan helped him up. THe salamander merely rolled his eyes and ran away. Nudness didn't bother the two creatures. Adar stood when pulled to his feet and everyone got a good look at the creature's physique. Then Lyzan's shirt was put on him and he was lead away to the nurse's office.
Adar was quiet during the walke to the nurse. Finally he looked up at a Lyzan. "I could have taken him. Why did you get in the way?" he asked. His brows were knitted in confusion. Surly the elf knew not to interupt a fight right?

The elf was silent until they had made it to the nurse's office. once inside and the nurse had inspected the other's arm, she put ice on it to reduce the swelling and then gave him a splint and a sling. "You will be fine soon. You're a dragon so healing is no issue." she said and then left the two alone. Lyzan sat in a chair, hands folded on his lap and he looked at the ground. "I... I was afraid, I guess you could say... I was afraid that you'd get hurt, well, more than you are. I didn't want to lose the partner I just started gto get along with." he said, looking up for the dragon's reaction. He didn't know what else to say really. "I'm sorry. I guess my body reacted before my mind." was the final thing he said before going into complete silence.

The dragon tilted his head one way and then another as he regarded his partner like some unknow specimen. And indeed that was what his new partner was to him. But he felt something shift in his chest. Something new. Lyzan had been...concerned for..him? Him. A dragon who's healing abilities were top notch. Even the nurse hadn't been very concerned when Adar came in with a broken elbow, an injury that would have gotten any other student fussed over. The dragon had seen it happen.
It made him furious too. Just because he healed well and fast...Just because he was a dragon did not mean healing wasn't an issue. It was. It still left him vunerable while he was hurt. It didn't feel good either. His arm ached and throbbed.
So you could bet Adar was staring at Lyzan with big eyes. And he didn't know how to respond. So he said the first thing that came to his mind. "Next time play nice music and don't force change me. It hurts," he said. But he was nice about it, if bit fast. He was embarrassed, shy, something. He didn't know what it was, but in his voice had been gratitude.
A round about thank you, but a thank you. Probably the best Lyzan was going to get. Adar stood up, walked over to Lyzan, and licked his nose. Then he walked to the door. "We should get to class or something," he said. It was then that he realized he was still wearing only his partner's shirt.
"Or I'll just go get dressed. I can't go to class like this can I?" he said. He seemed genuinly unsure. Clothes and when to wear them was such a confusing concept.

One minute the dragon wanted to fight and then the next he wanted nice music and gave the elf a lick on the nose. Why did this guy have to be so complicated? Sighing with a slight tint to his cheeks, Lyzan stood and shrugged. "I can send you to the room. Just tell me when you are done getting dressed and I'll bring you back to the class. Here." giving a small flip of his hand, a card appeared. He handed it to the shorter male and nodded. "Just put this to your forehead and you'll be wherever you want to be, unless you want to fly there and break a few windows that is. You can keep it."
Lyzan then opened the door and looked back. "Don't get into anymore fights. Please." were his last words before he went off to class. He really didn't want to have to break up another fight between the dragon and some other guy again and make Adar angry. Scratching his head as he went into the classroom, the elf sat in his seat and took out his violin, playing a soft song as he waited for the other who were more than likely procrastinating in the halls with their friends.

Adar tilted his head, but took the card. How could a little card do all that? He sniffed it, but it didn't smell edible. But stick it to his forhead? He remembered the last card he had stuck to his forhead. He hadn't been able to move a muscle. Being so vunerable had been, dare he admit it, scary. So he held it gingerly.
And he could keep it? "Wait, how do I let you know when I am done?" he asked. But it was too late. The other was already gone. He hesitated a moment more before pressing the card to his head and concentrating on their bedroom. Nothing happened for a moment and then he felt like he was being squeezed through a very tight space. He almost lost his concentration in suprise, but he was a professional killer so his concentration held.
His hand was a little shaky when he lowered the card though. And he wanted to sit down. Just the thought made his knees almost buckle. Yeah... The young dragon sat himself down on his bed and took a breather. Once he felt better he got dressed and folded Lyzan's shirt neatly.
He considered using the card again, but then just decided to walk to class. Which he did. And he managed to avoid another fight. Overall he was quite proud of himself when he walked into the classroom just before the late bell and took his seat beside his partner. He presented the elf with his shirt. "Brought this back for you," he said. Then the dragon crossed his arms on his desk and rested his head on top. Just in case this class turned out to be boring and he wanted to sleep.
