The Mist was pretty alright. The whole trapped with the real monster concept interested me.
Midnight Meat Train seriously makes me think it's another movie... Always hesitant to watch it even though I know what it's about haha.
Oh and I love Jacob's Ladder, The Thing, 28 Days & Months Later and Audition to name a few.

So, getting back to the Stephen King topic for a moment. Has anyone watched Haven? It's the new series that's based on The Colorado Kid.
In any case, I just watched the season finale, and I found it really cool that there was an ex-con in it, and he actually did time in the Shawshank prison. Which was a pretty awesome homage.

I recently watched The Happening (200 cool .
It was one of those "End of the World" movies XD Has anyone seen it? Your thoughts? I thought it was pretty good..XD

I thought it was terrible. The dialogue was kind of dumb, the suicides were dumb, And, suddenly, Mark Wahlberg can't act anymore.
That shotgun scene was hilarious though.
But yeah, it had alot of potential, in hindsight. I wish M. Night hadn't lost it so badly. I still love Unbreakable.

Apparently, he's gonna be The Crow in an upcoming remake... *facepalm* Have you ever seen The Big Hit?! ...Well, he couldn't act in that either, but still a fun movie, though. Meh, never cared for The Crow, so they could have cast Richard Simmons in the role for all I care.

Wahlberg was good in The Three Kings. But, that's the only movie of his that I've seen. He's better than Matt Damon at least, for being a samey looking guy.
The first two Crow movies were good. And the third one was kinda redeeming because we get to see Kirsten Dunst's lips sewn shut, which should really be done in real life, I think. But after that, it was so irrelevant.
But a remake? ********.... It doesn't need a remake! What I don't understand is, take things like The Crow... Sequel after sequel, they become derivative, straight to DVD movies with less and less of a budget. Why is it that they can't make a good, Theater worthy sequel. But as soon as they say, "Remake" it's like, "Oh, here's a crapload of money and some relevant actors! Because a remake is obviously going to be better than those crappy sequels!"

Meh, never cared for The Crow, so they could have cast Richard Simmons in the role for all I care. Yes, and that movie is awesome. But that's thanks mostly to Lou Diamond Phillips, not Marky Mark. And that is the only Mark Wahlberg movie I've seen that I liked. Actually, I love that movie. "The Trace Busta Busta Busta". xd As for The Crow... I love the first one. I love the tone and the art direction and everything. It's a 90s classic. Didn't like the sequel, and never saw the third. It's not the greatest movie ever made or anything, but still. Mark Wahlberg as The Crow...? Ick. @ Bio: Exactly. It doesn't need a remake. Hell, the movie isn't even 20 years old. I can see them remaking a movie made in the 30s in 2005, like King Kong, but s**t.

It's pretty sad. Before you know it, we'll be getting remakes of movies from Mid 90's. Watch out, remake of Dumb & Dumber coming up!
Oh man... I really will dread the day when they try to remake First Blood. I'll shoot the director in the face. Unless they cast me as Rambo, then I'll let it go.

For me, it's a toss-up between:
• 28 Days Later
• Ichi the Killer
• Hellraiser
• The Ring
I was actually thinking about starting a crossover fan fiction over on the art subforum between "Hellraiser" and "The Ring".
It would essentially be Pinhead vs. Samara with Pinhead converting Samara into a Cenobite.
Yay or nay?
