I'm deciding on what color to paint the valve cover, any suggestions?

What color are your calipers? Really I would suggest painting your valve cover in a color that matches your car somehow. Some choose the color of the body, some choose calipers, some choose rims/ wheels color. I personally kind of like the calipers matching theme.

They're obnoxious, super-metallic gold, came that way
I thought about matching it, but I dun want to open the hood and be blinded by my valve cover

I'm likely going to paint it matte black with red lettering

I kinda wish that Endless made rear calipers for my car
Even Brembo or Baer....

but that's too much to ask for....
Maybe one day when I own my own race team I'll special request them.... I can dream

@Joey Crash

It wasn't really my decision as to how far they'd go with the balancing

you know how you walk into a machine shop and they go "Yeah, we're going to do this, this, this, this, this, this and this! when it's done, you'll run the streets"
That's exactly what happened, I didn't even really care about the balancing, they gave me an amazing price for the entire package, so I just let them have their good time with it
Over-all, they only charged me $650 cash for labor on the entire machine shop portion build

Would you have said no if someone was going to only charge you $650 that much labor?
Keep in mind, they also assembled both block and head

You just bought the sales pitch. For $650 I would be damned suspicious if they could do what they claim; a Viper engine is very different from yours, and just because a shop can done one kind of engine, doesn't mean that they are as familiar with another.

They've done them before
I dun like taking chances on things, we've sent them engines in the past, and had good results come back, so they are familiar with them.

It's usually just someone else that drops them off

11 1/2 Year update no one will ever read. That engine was put together with Evo VIII specs. Machine shop assembled the block backwards. Meaning, had I put it straight into that car, it would have banged valves and ******** everything up.

Car was sold, all the parts were sold, traded or given away, traded engine for an RB, moved on.
