God so loved the world that He gave his only beggoton Son, and whosoever shall beliveth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16) ahhhh how ture,how true 3nodding (i'm in 1st Samuel in my Bible! its quite nice)

Now, I sincerely doubt Jesus is speaking literally here... I'm thinking he's telling you to cut out the things in your life that cause you to sin!! whether that's TV, types of music, ANYTHING that causes you to sin.

1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2. And though I have the gift of prophesy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not loved, it profits me nothing.
4. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5. does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6. does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7. bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13: 1-7
I really like this whole chapter.

Personally, I like:
John 11: 35
"He wept."
Now, I know it's the shortest verse and all, and people'll say it's their favorite because of that, but I have an actual reason. It shows that although he is God and he knew he could bring Lazarus back, he was human and had emotions like all of us do, and he had to deal with them like us.
Duteronomy 25 12-13
"...if two men are fighting, and the wife of one man tries to stop the fighting by grabbing the genitals of the other man, chop off her hand; let your eye show her no pity"

Rev 20:2 He overpowered the serpent, that ancient snake, named Devil and Satan. The angel chained up the serpent for 1,000 years.
Rev 20:3 He threw it into the bottomless pit. The angel shut and sealed the pit over the serpent to keep it from deceiving the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were over. After that it must be set free for a little while.
