As expected Zimo did flinch away and hid behind Belial.
"I understand," Belial said with a polite nod. He noted Niade's reaction. "I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner how much he was bothering you."
Niade stayed put not quite sure what to do with the situation. Between them it would be quite easy to drive the two lion away especially since the males weren't looking for conflict, but they had followed her all this way. She listened to Clermeilli-Pie. "Yes they did come all this way to be sure i was ok," she replied returning the favor of a bit of grooming before responding to the waiting lions.
Bel sat down waiting for the lionesses' word with Zimo cowering behind him. Niade was right they were both a bit pathetic.
"Well boys since you did come all this way you might as well get out of the sun. And thank you big brother, next time perhaps I won't travel so far." That there would be a next time should Niade continue to travel with the pair was inevitable; Madzimoyo seemed made to annoy her. Still should could almost understand her brother's protective attitude when it came to the young lion. He was almost cub-like at times. Of course if I'd wanted to take care of cubs I could have stayed with the family.
