Jin only smiled in hopes to comfort the boy a little bit from his lack of knowledge on what happened. "Don't worry about it. Here." Jin handed him a napkin and a small container of ointment. "here's for your lip..." he patted his head again. "You should go home and wait for them, it's not safe for you to be out alone."

"I don't wanna be alone!" Taiki cried, clinging to Jin. "Please, I don't want to be alone!!"

Fate slowly opened his eyes. He laid on his bed and looked up at the ceiling. He knew what had happened and he knew there were good and bad things about it. After getting up, he grabbed a cig and lit it, taking a wiff of it. "I dont want to have to deal with these whinning wimps...theyll die off anyways. The strongest will survive this..."

Shinto went to a park where no one was and started to paint. He decided he would paint this beautiful person he had seen for a feelting moment. You'd think that wouldn't affect him much but he couldn't help but fall in love. This man was the character in many of his art pieces.

Jin smiled back down at him and held his hand. "Alright then... Come inside and make yourself at home." Jin soothed to him and helped the boy up. He walked to his house, reminding himself about the kettle boiling.

Taiki finally recognized the boy as someone who came to his mother' grocery store.
"Arigatogozaimasu, Jin-san!" he said bowing sharply.

Jin looked at Taiki and smiled. "I'm happy you remember me, Taiki-san. And don't worry about thanks, I'm happy to do so." he lead the boy to the couch and left him there while he went to the kitchen to silence the kettle. "The TV works if you want to watch something!" he said to him. Though... I don't know if it'll still work without any of the adults at the TV station... Jin told himself. He shook the thought out of his head and continued his work. Multi-tasking on chopping vegetables, stirring the stew, and finishing to top a cake.

"May I help, Jin-san?" he asked.

Jin looked back at the boy. "Sure, I'll appericiate that." Jin smiled. He went to the pot of soup and showed him how to stir it. "Just stir this now and then, you can taste it if you want, I don't mind. And afterwards, you can help me decorate the cake."

"H-Hai!" Taiki said adn stirred diligently, trying not to screw up. He had bad luck in the kitchen

"Yes, just like that." Jin nodded in encouragement. "Keep at it." Jin smiled and continued shredding the vegetables. "The soup should be ready soon, do you want a bowl?" Jin asked.

"Jin is fine, Taiki... There is no need for formally in this household..." He said, Jin's eyes looked faraway and sad for a second, but it was then replaced by normal kind eyes. He reached through the cupboard and took out several small bowls, handing on to Taiki. "Take as much as your want." Jin said.

"Gomenasai, Jin-sa--er Jin," Taiki said, taking a bowl and getting some soup. He sat down and put his hands together. "Itadakemasu!" He took a bite. "Mm! It's very yummy!!"
