Gaston had leaned forward slightly, an action that even his father couldn't get him to do on his own, if only to see the glorious sight that stood before his doorstep. A magnificent white steed, held up by four insignificant, trembling servants whimpering with the weight of the overfed beast, but that was not what had his awe. Oh, no! It was the man above all that! The man with blond curly locks so similar to his beloved wife, a face only gods could have carved..! Lesser gods than Gaston's own face-carvers, but still godly in their own right! His eyes widened, teeth showing in a wide-spread smile, and a soft, lyrical laugh rang the air as he watched his younger sibling skip come towards him! His brother~!

He could feel his chest practically ripping open in joy..! ..Ah, no, wait, that was the other hugging him, but it was still an action full of joy and happiness, two emotions that were essentially the same but still blessings that Gaston and those related to him could only truly know the full potential of! Even his money couldn't compare to the powerful feelings that came with seeing a sibling, another image of perfection, at his doorstep! While the servants did their work, Gaston embraced his one soul mate – in a completely unrelated to actual romance, though by Jade's astounded face (woman was unabashed!), it was probably easy to guess the embrace was a bit.. touchy. Oh, well, ever since Uncle and Father had a little Gaston walk in on their 'card games' during a rare parental visit, it was hard for him not to connect a hug to molestation. ..It was a good thing the man found most of everyone too lesser to actually 'hug'.

My good brother – for this day to be blessed by such a presence outside of my own.. Surely, the stars must be collapsing from such entities to be in contact!” He greeted with some fear edging into his voice because even Gaston knew that the stars collapsing wouldn't be a good thing for the earth.. or at least he thought that. Oh, well, he was sure that he would survive simply because he was Gaston! “Indeed! My beloved Lulu.. But, I'm afraid she isn't here to see you.” He said with the deepest of regrets, drawing a long, heart-wrenching sigh as he gestured for the man to follow him inside. “My Lulu's father, you see, is.. not the grandiose of men. I believe his own peasantry has affected her as she seems to insist on living in her own, mediocre room with our child, Michael.” He explained, ashamed by his fiance's actions. Ah, Lulu! If only she would move in to his mansion and they could live together..!

Truly, meeting his dearest brother in the fashion, was like being touched by an angel! Ah, what a delightful meeting! What a grandiose moment! The only disapointment form that meeting was that he had been expecting the whole island population to be here to meet him. Ungrateful peasants. He should talk to Gaston about raising their taxes or something. This was what you did to punish peasants, right? Raise taxes? Well, he had heard something about cutting their heads, but blood was so messy. He wouldn't want to ruin his precious garments. Everything he was wearing was a unique piece after all. So unique in fact, the the moment he was removing them, a servant would burn them. Like if he would let himself be seen wearing the same old clothing twice in his life time! Or let anyone wear something that had touched his skin before. No, fire was the best solution!

At the mention of Lulu having been raised by peasants, Reinch's hand went to his forehead as he could feel a fainting spell coming to him! "Don't finish that sentence! She's monstrous! Unfeeling! How could she let my dearest brother not give her a room! Horrible! But surely.... You haven't gotten yourslelf a peasant for wife... What would grandma say? No, no.... She's a princess! Kidnapped in her youth by a dirty evil farmhand, surely." That was the best explanation. Gaston, in all his graces and charms would never have let himself fall for a lowly woman like a peasants... were peasants even have different genders? He should ask one of his servants. They were distant cousins, afterall. They should know. "But a child, oh, dearest brother? Without living together? Or being married? Ah! Surely your love is so strong that the gods have bestowed her with child! Ah! So wonderful! So magnificent! Breathtaking! Ahhh!"

Gaston looked aghast! Him? Marry a peasant?! No! Never! It couldn't happen, for Gaston was too perfect to allow such a thing..! He raised a hand slowly to express his distress that his brother would at all think he was ever capable of such an action, setting his hand on the man's shoulder in complete reassurance, staring at him with all the seriousness in the world – nay, universe! “Fear not, for my beloved's mother is indeed an angel! Any crudities her father could have given to the woman's children bypassed dearest Lulu to taint them.” Yes, Ashleigh and Percy were both totally devil's children! Disgusting maggots! He wished never to think of them..! It was why he hadn't even allowed Lulu to invite her sister or brother to the wedding, for any peasant not worshiping Gaston's feet couldn't be invited! He would have to order an accident to happen.. Alanis had obviously started to influence the man~ “Yes, it is a miracle that our love could blossom in such an unheard of way. But, that is the beauty of people such as us!” Babies don't even need a sperm to be made! They just popped out of cabbage patches and turnips! “Little Michael is already growing into such a strong lad! He has my chin, I'll have you know.” He added in a gloating matter – grandmother always said that the family chin was a sign of strength and power~

Reinbach made a very loud very high pitched 'ew!' when his brother spoke of them. Whoever 'them' was, it didn't take a Sonata to know they were so disgusting that it could make anyone like them to puke! Shivers went through his whole body as he tried to keep his stomach fluids inside. Especially since he hadn't brought being-puked-upon-servant with him to the island! He didn't believe he would have needed the servant, but clearly, he had overestimated the kind of peasants living on the island. "THE family chin? Really? Oh! Dearest Brother! Heavens are upon us! How lucky! No, not luck, this is fate! The Divine Providence! I, myself, not being the eldest child wasn't bestowed with such an honour, but good for you dearest brother! Ah! Do you hear that? It's the sound of angels weeping! A new God was born to you, my bother!" Ah! such joy! Such pleasure! In fact, Reinbach might even cry a little at that..... yup! There was a tear! Awh, such a wonderful family they were.

He brought his right hand to his chest and sighed in relief. All was well! Nothing could ever go wrong when a member of their family was there. "Ah, brother. Let's not stay outside, in front of the residence were any peasants could see us! Surely, you charge them every minute they spend in your presence. Or are you doing it as a charity? You are too good, dear brother, you are too good!" The man clapped his hands together three time and a group of servants ran to him to life him in the air and carry him inside as the rest brought his luggage. Did you really expect Reinbach to walk? Of course not!

Gaston felt pride – ah, but, Gaston always felt pride, so it wasn't really noteworthy, but it should be known that that was what he felt when his and his son's chins were complimented in such a way. But, it was his divine right to have such praise, even from another in his family as.. well, he was the oldest! Grandmother's favorite! He had to have praise or else he would fade from the earth and then where would the universe be?! Certainly, it was more of a necessity than anything and he shouldn't really need to comment on the facts that Reinbech stated, which was why he simply smiled, held his head higher like a prized race-horse, and nodded in response. Yes, he could hear the angels weeping! He heard it every day, along with their singing! It was the sounds he used to block out everything else that didn't fit into his perfect society – one of the main reasons why he could sit in a room with Gladice berating him for hours and not bore. The angels simply drowned out whatever 'logic' she was giving him~ Ah, angels~!

The man watched his brother be simply lifted and carried inside, his eyebrows raising in curiosity. ...He didn't have servants carry him everywhere... Why did he get to be carried and not Gaston?!?! This wasn't right! Fair! It was horrible! He narrowed his eyes in a way that every nanny that ever had to deal with Gaston recognized as jealousy, the look that preceded some inane, useless demand that they would have to do or else they would get it. Jade, unfortunately, didn't recognize this look, as well as a few of the other servants, because Gaston was normally content. Eccentric and immature, but normally satisfied. He stared at them and clapped his hands three times, just as Reinbech had. Jade and the others looked at him in confusion, some ignoring him completely. Until he did it again. And again. ..And again.. Once more.. He stopped, stared at them dangerously, and cleared his throat, grabbing the attention of the whole staff in his vicinity. Clap. Clap. Clap. A look of understanding dawned on one, followed by a pale color while he nudged the slaveservant next to him. Soon, after much debate amongst them, three scurried forward with faces of regret to lift Gaston up as carefully as they could and carry him after Reinbech. ..Unlike Reinbech's servants, however, Gaston's weren't used to heavy lifting like this, so he wasn't nearly as stable as he should be, but.. Well, he was in the air, at least.

Of course, as the mayor, it's my duty to gift them with my presence without charge on occasion. It's a chore, really, but I would not have met my fiance if not for such duties.” He explained – oh, what a god given gift Gaston was to the residents of Nirvani! He really was too good of a person, wasn't he? “What of you, brother? I am the lord of an island, a father, and ready to be wedded – surely, you have accomplished part of that in your time away from the house?” Of course he had! He was part of Gaston's blood line, after all! He had to have done something during these years outside of be perfect – ah, but that was a chore in itself. Gaston could probably forgive him if that really was all he had been up to~

Ah! It was good to finally be inside a domain like this! Being outside was starting to sicken him. No, not that the island was poluted or anything, but it was the foul stench of the peasants that was staring to give him a make him feel like a man with gastroenteritis. Of course, inside the mansion the air was still contaminated with the servant smell, but growing up surrounded by them, Reinbach had gotten accustomed to it. And servant could prove themselves quite useful from time to time. Like, for exemple, if someone was to attack you, servants could make perfect shield and projective to defend yourself.

Growing wary of the time his brother was taking to come inside, Reinbach did what every good member of their family should do in a time of crisis! That is, taking out his pocket mirror and look at himself. Ah, such a wonderful face! Pity all those in the world that didn't look exactly like him. They were but ugly people. Ah! just look at that nose! How could someone with his nose couldn't be someone important! And those eyebrow! The sign of someone with style! And those ears! Proof of intelligence! Really, he was a man bless beyond imagination. When Gaston had finally done doing what he had been doing outside, his brother put away the little golden mirror he had been looking at himself with, no without making a small pout. That precious moment with himself had been so short. He would miss his reflexion dearly.

"Ah, you are too generous Good Brother, you are too generous!" He said, placing his left hand against his chest to show his astonishment. To know that such a generous soul had been born in their family! "Ah! But you see dearest brother, I have never left the house till now! In fact, I have to admit... I was quite surprised to see there was something on the other side of the gates..." It had been quite a shock. He thought that the whole world was their propriety. But that didn't stop him! He was an adventurous! Ready to brave the wilderness that was the country of Youhessah, the country neighbouring their mansion. "But, fear not, dearest brother, for I too, have made accomlishment! I ham a well known author, having wrote many books!" By 'writing' he meant talking to himself while a servant was taking notes. "A whole collection of books! Classics, such as 'Take care of your servants : 1001 way to whip them' or the also popular 'Servants: They too have feelings. 1001 way to blackmail them' and let's not forget my best seller 'The Art and Beauty of the Servants: 1001 ways to use them'." All best sellers! They ust happen to be sold in the comedy section of your local book store, but it's not like he knew that. "Surely, you have heard of them?"

From underneath Gaston, Jade and the other three servants were holding back whimpers because, really, they knew by then that interrupting a conversation between Gaston and his brother was like asking for a death sentence. Or worse.. Not that anyone needed to specify what that 'worse' would be. But, those whimpers weren't ones of pain, although the servants were very much hurting from having to lift the man, to the point they wanted to all inform him he should have another liposuction scheduled as soon as can be, but whimpers of laughter. Ah, but, Gaston and Reinbech would never be able to see that amusement. Because, for one, Gaston didn't believe that servants had feelings too. That particular title that Reinbech had stated had his glorious brows raising and his beautiful eyes shining inquisitively. “I have read the servant care and usage manuals,” He stated quite honestly – what man didn't read that book?! It was the only way to be certain he had learned everything there was on how to make the best of his servants!

I haven't even fathomed that the feelings novel was of any use. I am sorry, dear brother, but I was not aware a fellow royal such as yourself had been the author! I would not have passed it by if I had known!” Such woe in his words! Really, his brother was a genius to consider such an untouched subject as a servant's feelings! “I always thought that servants could only mimic emotions..” He muttered out in astonishment as they were lead throw the house towards the sitting room, where the two male servants were likely playing cards happily, knowing Gaston would probably forget they were even there. Before they could ruin their fun, though, the topic had Gaston kicking one of the carrying servants, “Lead us to the library immediately.” He ordered, causing Jade below to blanch. ...The library.. was in the.. opposite direction.. She shared a look with the others beneath the man for a moment before deciding to simply walk backwards as slowly and carefully as they could, since turning would have them bumping into the other set and.. ah, they hated their jobs.

Ignoring the weird noises coming out of the servants, certainly an error in their programing or something like that, Reinbach laught while waving his hand left and right. "Ah! But fret not, good brothers. I have to admit that until last week, I didn't even knew you existed!" He laugh some more. Ah, to be oblivious! Wouldn't he be surprised when learning that he also had two sisters... "As for the servants, I have came upon the great discoveries of my many experiences that, if you cut the head of one a servant, it's mate's quality will severly decress. So then, I started to think... what id you only THREATEN to off their heads? Well, would you believe it, they actually get better. Ah, the raise in productivity when you have a servant's offspring under a guillotine! You would be amazed!" Had Reinbach really done that? Of course he had. Not like servants had rights of anything.

He didn't know he existed..? Gaston stared at him blankly for the longest moment while he laughed, having trouble comprehending a life before himself. Even hell would know his name, surely, for Gaston was simply too much of an importance to the soul for the knowledge to not exist! Essentially, the man could be related to a computer with a blue screen of death – it didn't compute. So, to save himself the trouble that it would surely cause on the fragile mind of the man, he laughed and blocked it out. Reinbech had just said the most funniest of jokes! He smiled widely as they moved backwards, crossing a leg much to the distress of one of the servants underneath him, determined not to unbalance the man with the action.

A guillotine, you say? Interesting!” He said with a nod and glanced down between his legs to look at one of the servants. Did any of them even have offspring..? He wasn't sure.. He hadn't paid attention enough to figure that out. “Ah, then I'll have to look into who has breed as of now! I haven't had the time to neuter any of the males yet or spade the females – the vet is too busy to do it and the doctor keeps bringing up this human rights subject..” He shrugged his shoulders in some irritation – yes, Mao had done that. Surprised? Well, really, it shouldn't be one.. He didn't care for human rights, but he didn't want to publicly lose his license with those that could actually think! Only people like Paprika or Mei who he could be sure wouldn't talk would he do such things to. Or the one's who signed the wavers upon entrance..

Following Gaston's lead, Reinbach started laughing! He didn't really know why he was laughing, but like he cared about trivial mater like that! If his brother was laughing, then surely something was hilarious and he had to follow suit in the laughing exercise! Ah! It was good to be brothers! Always laughing at the same time! Knowing exactly what the other was feeling! Only something that brothers who knew each others for at least twenty minutes could achieve! Ah! Those peasants without close siblings like them would never know the joy of spontaneous laugher!

"Ahaha, good brother! Do not waste your precious time trying to find out which one breed among themselves! Just throw them without their rags in a room, tell them you wont feed them until they procreate, then one a baby is out, you can use it! Why wasting time and effort trying to find out who's the parent of whom? Such men like ourselves shouldn't be concerned about trivial mater like those." Jade, and the other sevants, on the other hand, should be very concerned. Perhaps the arrival of Gaston's sibling was the worst thing that could have happened to them. Oh well, their fault for thinking that being a servant for Gaston was easy money! They should have known better before signing a contract where it said you couldn't leave your job no mater what until you were fired...

Gaston held his head in an interested fashion, his eyes curious as that of a child learning a new way to play with his toys. A comparison that is.. perhaps the best way to describe any curiosity Gaston ever gives to anything. The servants were, of course, scared out of their minds with knowledge of how they forfeited most of their rights when they took the job. The new boy was shaking, another man was silently praying, and Jade was just the same as ever in the most defeated of ways. From then on, the conversation only became worse and worse between the brothers, especially when they reached the library and had access to Reinbech's books, that Gaston's servants themselves had bought to entertain them when the master wasn't there to pester them. What was once used as a, 'It could be worse' aid in their lives was quickly turned into a.. well, you get the drill.

A firm knock came at the Sonata's Mansion door. Looking up at the place with his violet gaze, and a cigarette between his lips, Walter was stunned at how ******** huge this place was. Knowing that the Mayor was a crackpot in his own right, the lanky tall Brit figured that being a Butler for this a*****e would be his last ditch effort at a normal life. He knew what being a Butler for some rich ******** meant to, you were basically dirt and treated as such. You were expendable, and they couldn't care less about you. But, it was a paycheck. Something he didnt have to risk his life for. Which was good and bad mind you. He had called his former employer, and then promptly hung up on his a** when he got the idiots receptionist. Bloody Hell what part of 'The Angel of Death is calling' dont they get? Walter shook his head and discarded the cigarette into a bush nearby. Standing as straight as he could, Walter threw on a fake smile and cheerful gaze. Time to be prim and proper. Straightening his attire and hair, he knocked once more on the door a nice firm knock before waiting for the staff to open it.

One would have expected a man like Gaston to have door servants would have openened the door the moment Walter had knocked on it. Partially, it was true. That had been Jade's job lately. A job she was quite contempt to have, most because that meant she could slack off! Seriously, who in their right mind came to visit Gaston? The only time someone came, it was Hayden to sculpt yet another statue of the man, and generally, they knew when he was coming. This was why Jade wasn't near the door when Walter knocked, because no one was suppose to come that day! No, Jade was too busy talking on the phone with her NPC boyfriend. You remember? The NPC bouncer? Well, they were still together! Ah, NPC love. So, where was I now? Oh, yes! Walter knocking on the door...

When Walter knocked on the door, the first time someone had ever done it since the mansion had been built, the sound of the knock echoed in all the mansion, very loudly. Suddenly, everything went silent for ten seconds... then... noises. Lots of noises. People running! People Screaming! The door flew open and three males and 1 female ran out of the mansion screaming! On of the guy looked at Walter, panicked in his eye. "RUN! RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!! RUUUN!!!!!" No wasting one more moment, he returned to running with the rest of the ground. One woman, being slowler than the other also came out, bumbing into Walter. She grabbed his vest pulling him closer. "The...ele..phant...the....elephant....THE ELEPHANT!!!!!!" Then, she pulled out a gun (don't ask where she got it), put it on her temple and pulled the trigger. PTSD Servants traumatised by the killer elephant who had went into panic at the sound of Walter knocking, thinking that Florence VII had came back to finish what she had started.

In other words, today was another normal day at the Sonata mansion.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 25, 2011 8:36 am

Walter was rather composed until the door burst open and people started running past him. What the bloody hell? He was rather calm as he was shouted at, bumped into and then grabbed and shouted at. Something about that bloody elephant. And then the woman took a gun to her head and pulled the trigger.

Walter sighed and took out a handkerchief to wipe off any blood and brains the servant had left on him. "Honestly, he cant be that bad." Walter said as he pocketed the kerchief and kicked the woman's dead body into the bushes. He'd clean that later he supposed. Though the door was a mess. Bloody Hell.

Shaking his head and sighing Walter stepped into the Mansion and looked around. "Hello? Is there any sane servant around? I hate to be a bother but, Im looking for the Lord of the house." Walter called out, in his free hand was an executive folder with Walter's resume and references. Closing the door to the Mansion, Walter picked off a piece of brain on his vest. It didnt so much phase him that the woman had off'd herself. He had seen that many times as a gun for hire. But did she have to get him dirty in the process?

It had been another day at the Sonata, it seemed! Jade the maid was tending to some dishes when everyone in the kitchen had heard a gunshot.. for the seventeenth time that week. Having been the slacker of them all, Jade was scared shooed off to go take care of the body before Gaston threw a fit about his floors not being waxed or whatever. They were more careful with teasing the master of the house now that Reinbech had moved in – the.. things that were suggested hadn't gone unheard and every one of them were tense as they worked. It was difficult to keep someone like Gaston happy, though, when something as simple as a broken nail could set him off.. It was best to avoid him and do what they could to appease, starting with cleaning up the suicides.

“One does it, the rest have to follow, like a goddamned chain..” Jade had muttered to herself as she strode out into the main hall, her hands being wiped off by the apron around her usual uniform – a kimono with an apron, because.. Gaston was very misinformed about the Asians or he simply liked sticking everyone into a traditional attire of their ethnicity. ..Which was offensive at first, but one couldn't let something like that bother them! Not here, at any rate – so, where was that? … Jade took note of Walter, looked at the folder in his hands, and blanched. She looked up and down, all around, before rushing up and grabbing him by the shoulders to whisper fervently, “Run while you still can! The pay isn't worth the contract, the brother will have your head, and the elephant, oh God, the elephant – the animals, the monkey, the child, that.. that WOMAN! RUUN!” Her voice had raised in her blubbering panic to convince a soul out of the horrors of the Sonata mansion before –

FENG WONG!

Oh, too late. Jade backed off of Walter as Gaston came down the stairs shouting the first name that came to mind at the Asian, “I told you to get – … What have you done to the door?!” He broke into a shout as his eyes landed on the front door, so.. so messy! And red! And drippy! It was disgusting! Disgraceful! He couldn't bare to look at it – but, he couldn't deny that.. It was ART! Ah, someone had graced his door with a painting of magnificence! He had ignored Walter completely to round the man and stand before the door and stare at it. “Divine! Kagome!” He looked back at Jade, “I want it set up on the dining hall wall in twenty minutes! Chop, chop!” He clapped his hands, sending the woman to scurry to get the screws loose on the door as fast as a small Chinese maid could. Ah, Reinbech would surely appreciate the new work of art when he joined him for dinner! That business done, he looked at the man who was.. standing in his home. ..Odd, he didn't remember having a servant that looked like that.. but, they all looked somewhat the same to him. “Robbie, what are you doing standing there? Shoo, get to work!
