Think about it guys, an oil rig is best option. U CAN get food and u CAN live on there.
Although....... if u think about it in terms on how to get there, then yes a problem, but u only asking where i would go , not how i would get there

ok there are many problems with a oil rig.........it would only be SHORT term......ok foget about the zombies....

1. the storms out at sea.
2. Rigs are at a high risk to explode!!!
3. killer salt air
4. Corrosion

By going to an oil rig its not zombies that are your worry, its nature!

Its not SHORT term, u can live on one of those things for like....5 years, how are u planning on eating from a prison if Zombies are sitting outside, u might as well be vampires.

the storms at sea are actually not that bad. They are built to survive and the only problems that have happened with only nature was Hurricanes. WE ARE NOT IN A HURRICANE ZONE, STOP READING THAT STUPID BOOK, THE GUY IS AMERICAN (no offense)

They not at risk of exploding, u dont need the oil, the world doesnt need the oil, just shut them off. U might as well, but u can still use it and generate ur own power which they do do. the areas were u stay and live are no where near them anyways.

Salt air aint that bad, and it doesn't get airborne to the actual living level, thats why a standing oil rig has a curtain. I never sed standing oil rig, they have FPSO's, Floating Proccessing and Storage Offshore. (thats wat we were building in Singapore) and still, they have larger areas on them.

Lastly corrosion, it is inevitable and they dont corrode for many years, they have systems to prevent this. On a standing one they have things that go up and down the legs of the Oil Rigs, but still they poor zinc on it and the water reacts witht the zinc and not the iron that it is made of. Inevitable it is and this will still keep it alive for many more years witht the amounts they do actually have on it.

Zombies can't get there and that is simple, Sea as food and water and thats it final. Oil for electicity while we can sit inside watching TV and how the world is being destroyed

ok then, well i still think that an Oil Rig is the best place to go to. Although u keep changing the first bit of this forum i still dont thinnk getting there is a problem, and if that is the case, i would have to go for school, cos i live no where near a prison or oil rig anyways.
