He looked over the card then handed it back to her. Afterwards he stashed away his shot gun. "You don't look like a vamp," he muttered as he looked at her up and down. Without apologizing he walked off down the street, his red cloak blowing in a sudden gust of wind along with his black hair.

She paused. Shaken. A Vamp... he was looking for Vampires. "Oh god..." she thought. Was he here to kill them? There were more? What would they do to her if they found her. She ran the last block to work, hoping she would never have to cross paths with that man again. "Hello Mr. George!" she yelled as she walked in. "I'm sorry I'm late."
"Right on time actually, dear" smiled the older shopkeeper. "Are you alright? You look as if you've seen a ghost"

The dark man turned a corner, heading towards the other set of foot steps. He wasn't going to be snuck up on, not him. He was ready to kill anything that was a threat. "...How infested is this place?" he thought.

Issilia got to her job. For her, this was the best possible job. She didn't like people. So being in a dark place with millions of old dusty books got her outside...but still away from humanity. She dusted through the shelves, reading the titles as she went.

Uttering a light sigh Min upon further deliberation decided to venture into the city, knowing full well many of the humans would be boarded up in their homes by now. Working at tucking back an auburn tendril of hair, Min squinted as she spotted Issilia enter into a nearby shop.
Pathetic. Sneering, Min pushed her hands into the encumbersome pockets of her vintage pea-coat and continued walking on. The heels of her twice worn boots striking the pavement with a 'clack, clack' sound.

She smiled. The shop was completly dead. This meant she could read whatever she wanted. Of all the books inside the shop, she found her favourite in a dark corner and she sat. Reading happily, hoping no one would enter the shop.

The grave man stopped suddenly. He listened carefully. There was a "Clacking" of heals near the direction that Issilia took. He slid into another dark alley. It had garbage piled up in dumpsters, and rats scurried about as he took out his unique shot gun incase he was attacked. He didn't want to start a commotion quite yet. The best approach would be to get a good feel of the area then strike.

Suddenly, she felt a cold chill run down her spine. Vaguely she remembered this feeling... It was that cold feeling she had felt nearly a year ago when she was walking to University one cold morning. She shivered. "I hope it doesn't know I'm down here"

Having been around for quite some time, Min of course knew when danger was close by. Her heightened senses zeroed in on a hidden male-body, one pulsing with the precious life-essence; blood.
Though Min had already feasted this night she figured a quick snack wouldn't hurt her, though she of course would be cautious; for she senses something different in this prey.
Retracting her fangs into her gums, Min demurely lowered her head and quickened her pace in an effort to give the appearance of a woman returning from work and in a hurry to get home. This little scenario had fooled many a person, and she hoped it would again.

The man watched Min hurry by. He looked at her closely. Something was bothering him about her. But he didn't know what. One thing was for sure. If vampires come out near night fall then why would she be out without an escort? Same thing with the previous girl. Had he made an error?
He curses beneath his breath then stepped out slowly out of the alley, switching his gun from short to long range. He points it at her back with one hand. "You...stop. Identify yourself!"

Issilia paused. Listening closely...
"Issilia? Is everything alright?" her boss had appeared from the corner. She jumped slightly.
"Yes sir, I'm fine. I was just a little shaken because a man had pointed a gun at me earlier." she told him quietly.
"A WHAT!? Why?" he said shocked.
"I guess he thought I was a...vampire..." she looked down at her book.
The Man smiled and sat down beside her. He knew it hurt her when people told her this, just because of her allergy to the sunlight...he patted her shoulder gently.
"They just can't put themselves in your shoes dear...they'll never understand like your Da did."

Feigning, surprise Min uttered a light squeak as she spun around entirely too fast; which was of course on purpose. The minute she did so she made it look as if her foot struck something on the pavement which sent her careening forward. Luckily her flailing arms were enough to soften the blow, so as to where they carried much of the blunt of the impact.
Uttering of a soft groan, Min lay at the man's feet as if truly injured and in a small voice stated the following---"Please don't hurt me!" Her body shook with 'sobs' as she dipped her head and pretended to cry before carrying further on with her charade. "My name is Laura and I was just on my way home from work. Please sir, please don't hurt me!!!"

The ebon man stepped back away from the seemingly sobbing woman. He keeps the gun barrel pointed towards her head, standing two feet away from her. "...No escort? Why are you in such a hurry?"

Suddenly she heard screaming from outside. A womans voice, she guessed the voice of the Vampire, was trying to get away. "It must be that man" she thought to herself. "I'll be right back" she told Mr. George and ran outside.
"Whats all the commotion!?" she yelled. She saw the Gun was pointed at the womans head, just as it had been at hers. "Vampire or not, thats wrong" she thought again.
"OMG! Laura!? Are you alright!" she threw herself down next to the stranger yelling the first name that came to her mind. She prayed to her Father it would work. "Wasn't Jason supposed to pick you up from work? He promised!" she snapped angrily, offering a hand to help the tall woman up.

The dark man backed a way a bit more, his gun still aimed at them. "...Siblings? Hmm...perhaps I'm mistaken again..." he muttered as he eyed them both carefully once more. He didn't like the feeling he got from them, but he couldn't see any evidence of them being vamps. He could check their necks, but some are natural born.
