dragwarrior ok so ill get some tetras, some cherrys, and maybe 2 platy females Sounds good ^_^ how many Tetras and Cherry Barbs were you planning on getting. Both are schooling fish and should have 3 or more. Oh and I dunno if this counts for Platies, but female Guppies only have to mate once, then they can store sperm for up to 6 months. So you may have some fry in the begining, but they will most likely get gobbled up

well i went to petco today and i got 3 gold barbs, i wanted to get more fish, but i couldnt fight my mom, but she said if everything looks good for these 3 in like 5 days, we can get the rest of fish we want

thanks and by the looks of em, ill get 2 more golds, and either get 5 tetras or 5 cherrys, dont think ill get both though

I wouldnt get a DG from a pet store. If you can find one, go to a breeder. The stock will be better and less likey to have Dwarf Gourami Disease. There a other small Gourami options like Honey Sunsets, and Pearls (I think). LiveAquaria.com has a Gourami section and they list a lot of nice ones and will tell you what they need =3

If you happen to want a ram make sure you wait at least 6 months and you have really good water quality.

the flagfish looks awesome, but i dont think they sell it any where close to where i am, so ill prob get a gourami

dragwarrior the flagfish looks awesome, but i dont think they sell it any where close to where i am, so ill prob get a gourami I like the Pearls the best <3 I have an Oplaine, had a Blue, and want a Gold, but every time I see the Pearls at my LFS, I drool over them (and kinda want to swap one with the Opaline, but I love her too much lol)
