Interestingly enough Tory obviously didn't notice the woman sitting in the cabin. She had been reading a book about magical creatures while enjoying a bottle of butter beer. Lumia wasn't usually one to speak without being spoken to so she ignored the fact that he walked in and continued to read.

Tory smelled a butter beer. And to his surprise there was an older woman. By barely peering out of his peripheral he decided to talk. "How are you. I see you a lover of fine literature as well.", he observed.

Lumia raised her head from her book and looked at the young man. She smiled before taking off her reading glasses and spoke. "Indeed I do, the things you learn from literature are quite fascinating. So you too are a fan of the literary works, what do you like to read? Personally I don't mind reading anything in particular so long as there is something to be learned."

Tory opens his bag full of encyclopedias. "As you can see I like to learn things that I don't know. I just like to be taught something new every chance I get. Even if it's mythology. But I would appreciate it if you wouldn't tell anyone. My genius is suppose to be hidden. I don't like it when people know I'm over the average mental capacity.", he said putting up his current book and getting an encyclopedia.

Lumia chuckled quietly at this, though Tory was unaware she would be his teacher she was excited by the fact. He was obviously smart. "So you don't like people to know huh, then why tell me huh? What was it about me that made you want to tell me? Was is because we share a common interest or are you just showing off?"

"Oh no. Showing off is completely against my morals. Showing off means that you think you're better than anyone else. Regardless if you're smarter or stronger everyone is equal. Just some experiences are stronger than most and I told you because yes we share common interests and I can tell you and I are going to get along very well.", he explained. Tory got a vibe that she wasn't who she thought he was, but he shrugged it off.

Tory set aside his encyclopedia to shake his fellow knowledge seekers hand. "It's great to meet you. I'm Tory Jones.", he shakes her hand. "So how long have you been a student at Hogwarts?", he asked.

 Lumia smiled gently and replied, "I haven't been a student at Hogwarts for a while. Actually I'll be your charms instructor Tory, and I agree that we will get along fabulously in the future. Especially since you like to learn that which you don't already know. You want some butter beer, I have more bottles."

Lumia took a bottle of butter beer out of her bag. "Oh this one is warm, unless you prefer your drinks warm then you're about to get your first lesson." Lumia handed him the warm bottle of butter beer. "Take out your wand Tory and listen carefully."

Tory took the bottle of butter beer. "It's fine I prefer warm drinks.", he said uncapping the beer. "Plus No one informed me of where to get a wand. So I just left. Thought I would come back and get it after I was settled.", he said. Torys' face lit up when he took a sip of the butter beer. "Hmm, that's really good."

Lumia was a bit shocked, "you honestly didn't get your wand? Surely your parents would've told you where to get one? You're going to need it for sure. Tell me you at least got your books?"
