steve let out a sarcastic gasp. "why wouldnt you trust me!?" he said as he crouched down and started altering the column.

"the truth is, i regret doing this!" he said ashe threw his gun at her, knocking her out. he finished shutting down the columns so that he could work on the core of the generator.

"just great. i bet he's dead by now. they always either die, or switch sides then get killed by me. we can hold them back easily, but we cant advance as long as they have that outpost!"

"its been three hours since we sent him out! its time to take matters into my own hands. you two come with me! we march to the outpost in delta formation, ignoring all attempts to harm us. when we get in, we track shockwave's signal and destroy the core. this battle alone has been going on for two weeks, at this point it doesnt matter how much damage we do to the outpost!"

steve finally turned off the core, the stole the key component so that it couldnt be fixed and so he could use it in his weapons later. he walked over to annie. "im sorry, but you shouldnt be so nosy next time." he knew she was unconscious, but he felt he had to say it. he picked her up, left the room, left the outpost, and found the tree where he put his armor. he layed her down under it then he put on his armor and activated his communicator. "This is shockwave, i have shut down the generator. repeat, i have shut down the generator."

"youre lucky you got that when you did. we were about to set off all the explosives and destroy the whole thing. all units move in!"

steve dodged the last punch. "you try joining the army because there no other reason to live! i just follow orders, and i dont even do that right! i was told to kill all in my path, shes still alive! if i had left her there, she would be dead from radiation poisoning by now! speaking of dead, if you dont want to be you should head away from here. this is about to be captured!" he said as he turned on the camoflauge and ran up the tree.

maybe i was wrong. maybe L.F. is the evil side... he saw someone yell at the person next to them and then shut their sheild off. damn, i have to prove to B.F. that im not one of those bastards... he rememberd the materials he had with him. he assembled the bomb and threw it into the L.F. crowd. he then took the prism from the generator and put it in his gun. he started shooting. the beams didnt damage them, but it disabled their weapons.

"what the hell is going on!?" a beam hit his gun and his gun exploded in his hands. "its best we dont find out, retreat!"

steve jumped down out of the tree. "i am so sorry, both of you. i have a medkit here somewhere. i dont blame you if you want to kill me, i would if i were you. but, i just helped protect this outpost using a single bomb and a gun." he said that all while trying to find the kit. he pulled it out and handed it to annie. "shoot me if you want, i dont care. i finally saw how evil the L.F. is. i guess if you never watch the battles, just fight in them, you fell like youre on the right team. but after seeing that, i could never help them in a fight again..."

"my real codename is shockwave and my full name is steven swampkinfe, ma'am." he saluted. "she may be the only person you have left, but i have nobody left. i assume you need my qualifications? firstly, i killed about 7 L.F. soldiers with a single bomb made from a matchbox and duct tape. i also built a prototype electrokinetic grenade. if i tweak the formula a bit, it can be an EMP granade. i am also pretty good at building, fixing, and dismantling stuff. speaking of, i can go fix the generator. i need a radiation-proof suit, though..."
