"Either way, just take the call in the hall." Dante replied. "Now, back to the class. As you can see, I will be giving a mid-term and a final exam. I will be giving quizzes on the material I have covered in the previous class to make sure you are listening, and I am not wasting my breath. If you were listening, you don't have to worry about the quizzes. There will also be a term paper. You will pick a topic related to biology and write about it. The term paper will be 50% of your grade. The quizzes will be 25% of your grade and the remaining 25% of your grade will be the mid-term and final. Any questions so far?"

"Well, the paper is 50%, so you just need to get 20% to 30% of the points with the Quizzes and exams in order to pass my class assuming that you get all the points for the paper." Dante replied. "I have designed the class so if you are stronger in papers and/or tests can show that they know the material and pass the course. The only way you will fail is if you don't pay attention and don't do your homework."
