Setting aside my dislike for Cena, I hated seeing him with the belt. For one thing...he had been champion too long, then I always hated the fact that he ruined the WWE title by making his own and adding the spinner crap. That's the only thing I hate about Edge as champ...he kept the spinner look. I hope Edge retains the title. I don't want to see Cena get a title shot at Wrestlemania either, we already saw what a poor job he did last year with JBL. Setting aside my liking of Kane, I think it would be cool for Kane to win the Rumble and face Edge to "finish the job". Kane technically never got full revenge on him...not that I remember anyway. I'm thinking since Kane needs a push, he should win the title from Edge...and actually keep it more than one day. I'd see it as screwing Edge since Kane had lost the Gold Rush Tournament thing to him.
I think after the whole Matt Hardy ordeal, they pretty much scrapped any heat that Edge & Kane had because of what a creative mess that whole thing was.
I don't think Edge should be the champion. I hate the whole white trash glam thing him and Lita have going, and I don't see it lasting as something that will carry RAW. They're really hurting for creative ideas lately, and it's showing.
I personally don't see the problem with Cena, I've heard numerous times that management won't let him actually wrestle, and he's much better than they allow him to be. WWE is fairly known for limiting people's talents. But it seems to me that since Vince is so hot because he can't get people to like Cena, changing things up a little might do the trick. And listening to what people b***h about and fixing it could be another option.
And as for his match with JBL last year, that was crap. Probably one of the shortest WM title matches, like, ever? I'm not sure what the point of that was, really. Nobody beat JBL for like months and months, and then Cena beats him without hardly breaking a sweat. That was a disaster.
I think Mick Foley should come de-champ Edge!
