((OOC: Memoirs of a Geisha probably ;3))
His hand suddenly closed around her upper arm – his long, slim and cold fingers locking around her sleeve and the warm skin she hid underneath. His expression didn’t change as he made sure that his grip was enough to be firm, but still not hurt her. ”You’re wrong.” The words slipped from his tongue with no effort what so ever. ”You’re foolish when you believe in things that don’t exist, you’re foolish when you smile even though there’s nothing to smile about, and you’re foolish when you talk about the heart as if it could save me from my current condition.” His eyes narrowed. ”I’m not in any condition to need a savior like you seem to believe.” He tilted his head just a bit and he frowned lightly. “My world doesn’t need your deluding words.”
He watched her for many seconds in order to drink in her expression. He wanted to see it all; every small frown, every twitch from her muscles, and every breath she drew in that moment. He wanted to see a reaction. However, he knew that he had been too straightforward and too confronting all of a sudden… it wasn’t like him at all to do that. He simply never lost his senses, because of confusion or frustration… Never…
Knowing that he had crossed the line by several miles, he slowly freed her upper arm from his strong grip. He took a few steps back and turned his head to the side so he didn’t have to look at her. She was dangerous for him… he could conclude that much. She changed him in so many ways and introduced him to so many new emotions that his head felt like it would burst any second… And in fact; he didn’t know if he should be grateful or despite her for doing it. Her following words did nothing to help his inner conflict, and he simply turned around to face the opposite wall. She couldn’t possibly have learned her lesson yet. If that was the case, he wouldn’t have to visit her like he did right now, and he wouldn’t have to check up on her whenever she ate her dinner. No… she hadn’t learned her lesson at all.
Feeling slightly guilty from his earlier words, words that didn’t fit his inner image of himself, he softly whispered under his breath; ”Do you want to go out today?” Just as the softness had filled his voice it immediately left again; “I believe that some fresh air and a change of scenery would do you good”
