Raine frowned, still standing there as George seemed to drift into his thoughts. "Hello, soup or no soup?" She asked, a bit irritated, it showing in her tone now. She wasn't going to stand here all damn day. "Testy, aren't we? You suck at your job of cheery waitress." Amelia chimed in her head. That didn't help, just made her wish Amelia wasn't some ethereal demon Raine couldn't hurt.

I created a theory that could last throughout the ages.
I unified the Magic world and it's laws.
I stood there as an empire fell, since I failed to predict one thing with my equation.
I was there when I was proven right.
I remember being mentioned as the savior.
But I remember none of it.
My memories are of the future.
For now, I am only a school boy.
Creating the formula for the first time.
Sacrificing any chance for love.
For all I need is my books. George finally came back into the real world. "Oh sorry about that. Yes please. I wouldn't wish to take up any more of your time then I already have." He sighed mentally. He wasn't right in the head. But then again, was anyone really? He could split hairs as much as he wanted to later. For now, getting out alive in enemy territory is good enough for him. I can see only one thing in the future: That it will surprise us all.

"Fine. Spicy noodle soup it is." Raine muttered as she wrote it down on the ticket. "If you want something else during your wait, don't hesitate, to ask someone else." She said, giving him a look before turning and going to give the order to Axe, who appeared to be the one preparing the food.

For all I need is my books. George gulped. That..... wasn't scary. At all. He checked to make sure he wasn't shaking from fright. That look was something else. He again was relieved as she walked away. Yes, her walking away was much nicer then her walking towards him. Especially since he didn't feel in danger any more. Still, his mind did churn again, as he waited for his soup. Maybe he shouldn't have ordered anything from here. She might try to poison him. The rational mind told him that the idea was preposterous. Of course she wouldn't poison him. He was a paying customer. Somehow, he decided, a large tip was required, if only to save his life. I can see only one thing in the future: That it will surprise us all.

As long as Ayaka had been on campus, she'd never been to the establishment named Pagoda Cafe. Sure, she'd heard it was a decent restaurant, a bit of variety for the Japanese students, and certainly a good place for drinks. But she wasn't too interested in drinks, nor was she interested in the food really. All she wanted to do, is be as far, far away from her classmates.
A bit uncharacteristic? Surely. The class rep liked her classmates, and her teacher, but in this particular instance, they were the last people on earth she needed to see. After leaving the dorm abruptly, Ayaka had wandered out of the dorm, but hesitated slightly. The tension in her dorm hadn't helped, and to be honest, her dorm life wasn't going too well. Forgetting that they had been rearranged into different classrooms, Ayaka didn't want to risk being stuck next to Raine, and possibly getting a black eye.
So, what did she do? Only do what any other responsible student did! Play hooky.
Only...she wasn't too confident enough to do it herself. And luckily enough, she'd run into Malfrost. Perfection. Spending the morning with the boy wasn't too bad; walking (discreetly) around campus, shopping a bit, catching breakfast. But now, it was lunch time, and Ayaka had chosen the perfect location to lie low. Except for one waitress who appeared to work there.
Hello Raine, goodbye peace!
Gasping silently, Ayaka turned around in the doorway, attempting to make a quick exit, but a tall body named Malfrost blocked her path, causing her to bump awkwardly into him, before turning around to face the restaurant now. Now what to do?

Malfrost had a smile on his face the whole time he and Ayaka had been playing hooky, to think he and the class rep would be doing something like this brought a chuckle but as Ayaka turned and bumped into him he got worried, "Ayaka-san,is everything alright?"

Raine glanced at the people who walked in, and tensed up a little bit. Dammit. As if George wasn't enough. She frowned and looked at Axe. "So what, if I traded jobs with you would you take their orders or something?" She asked him. Axe looked, then chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah way, girly. That's all you. Besides, I'm the cook today." He grinned. Raine sighed and shook her head quietly before looking back at Ayaka and Malfrost.
Axe shouted from the kitchen, of course. "Hey! You two, you guys can sit anywhere you like!"

Now what to do? The male chef from the kitchen had already barked at them to sit down. What could she do, explain that she was wary of Raine's fist coming to her face? Well. That would sound delightful, wouldn't it?
Absentmindedly patting Malfrost's shoulder, Ayaka shook her head. "No, no, it's fine." She stated, speaking more to affirm that she wouldn't get hit or secretly poisoned by Raine. After all, it was a public place. Raine didn't have the audacity to do that. Or did she? Ayaka began to doubt if she'd live to see another day.
But still, as she grasped Malfrost's wrist and tugged him to a table in the center, she had to be gutsy. Show Raine that there was absolutely nothing to fear from her dark-haired roommate. Ayaka was simply on a lunch "date" with Malfrost. And all Raine had to do was take their orders, and be done. No problems could ensue if it just stayed that simple.
But, as Ayaka seated herself, a small grin crept up her face. She'd played hooky, something that felt surprisingly exhilarating, not doing what she was supposed to. Why not just mess with Raine a little bit? Tapping the table impatiently, Ayaka nodded at Raine. "Could we get some menus or something? I'm absolutely starving, and I assume," A glint appeared in her green eyes. "That waitresses are usually the ones who bring menus, correct?"

Raine sighed as she grabbed two menus and the ticket book. She walked over to the table Ayaka and Malfrost sat at, and set the menus on the table, amazingly restraining herself from showing her a**, especially leftover irritation from George. She was irked at Ayaka's tone, but...oh dammit. "What do you want to drink?" She asked, careful to keep her tone at its dull tone.

"Ayaka-san....don't try to cause a fight here please... I've been enjoying our time together... And I'll have some coffee please." Malfrost smiled as he placed his hand on top of Ayaka's lightly, squeezing it and giving her a smile, trying to get her to drop the idea of tormenting her dormate and instead just enjoy their time together.

For all I need is my books. George quickly finished his soup. Deciding that it was, in fact, time to go, he watched as Ayaka and Malfrost entered. He slammed all the money down on the table, deciding that was large enough of a tip. He then slid out the backdoor. The food was good, service.... not so good. He decided for the good of his health, he should limit his appearances here. Oh, screw it, he knew that his curiosity would get the best of him, and he was definitely coming back. (To Dorm 12) I can see only one thing in the future: That it will surprise us all.

As she felt Malfrost's hand over her own, she sighed, and rolled her eyes, withdrawing her hand as she fingered her menu. "A drink?" Ayaka repeated, thinking as she flipped through the page.
Flip. Flip. Flippity flip. The class rep stayed silent for a while, tilting her head from side to side, as if she were thinking. In truth, she really wasn't thinking about the drink, but making Raine wait for her answer was the least she could do, since she wouldn't fight. Oh, no. She just wouldn't be on her best restaurant etiquette.
"I'll have..." She began, but paused, putting down her menu, her fingers stopping their perusing of the object. "What do you recommend, Raine-san? You know I just enjoy your perfect taste in food and...everything else."

Raine frowned a little bit. God dammit...she was doing this on purpose. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I can't say. I just started working here today, you know." She said, irate but biting back the tone barely. "Though if you want I can go find someone who knows better." God, she wanted to, really badly. Maybe she can force one of those helper bees Hermes had with him to do it instead. Axe was unoccupied now, right?

Ayumi walked in, tail still wagging as she looked around. Oh wow, this place looked so nice again~ She was impressed. She was also eager to see the other changes. Raine looked over at her, and Ayumi gave her a wave of greeting, only causing a frown on the girl's face. Oh, they've met before. Safe to say Ayumi was safe from Raine's true bitterness, but that didn't mean Riane liked her one bit.
"Just...sit wherever." Raine said in response to them. "I'll be sure to get your orders in a minute." She looked back at Ayaka. At least now she had other customers to prevent Ayaka from stalling too much. Unless she was encouraging bad employee values or something.
"Cool~" She said in response, pulling Regan along as she picked a table and sat down, looking around.
