don't let the sadness you're feelling win, bud! yeah, it's kindof suckish, but pushing through and enjoying life is a great way to tell the autism and the whatnot's going on in your life to suck it. If i were within hugging distance of you, i would utalize the space for it's purpose. But, for now, an internet-hug will have to suffice.
P.S: sorry for being bad at explaining thoughts.

Learn to repress your emotions, let nothing faze you. Become a wall and life will seem easy, if somewhat boring. It works for me and it might work for you too. I don't know I don't generally offer advice in this field, thought it might help.

Chemosh of Krynn Learn to repress your emotions, let nothing faze you. Repression just leads to unpleasant flashbacks. Deal with the emotions, find the source and the reason for them, and then find a healthy outlet for them. Hiking, sports, art, music, poetry, that sort of thing.

Eventually your body and your brain will not be functioning together as they should be, and you wind up with a shitload of other problems that take many years of therapy to reverse. Learn to work with your emotions. If you're stressed or sad express it. it will help.

I don't know I don't generally offer advice in this field, thought it might help. Repressing emotions is a very bad idea. I tried it for a while, and instead of the problem going away, it festered and exploded into a mental breakdown. 3 actually. On top of my chronic depression. That sucked. Don't recommend it to anybody. As Ms Madness said, you gotta learn to express, work with, and through your emotions. Or else deal with expensive therapy bills. ninja Like me. sweatdrop

Just be careful, if you suppress too much it could back fire and you could end up having a complete meltdown one day. I know finding a happy medium is hard and it may take a little time but in the long run it may be the best option.

to be Stoic means to still feel it, and deal with it, but to not show anyone. it can mean to be Gruff too, but doesn't have to.
it often means, ignore it now, feel it later.
