♥ | I couldn't find a bulbapedia article that mentioned it, but I believe that simply means that stat is being effected by aprijuice. If you want to test it, put the pokémon in the PC box and take it back out. Since putting a pokémon in the PC box eliminates any affects of aprijuice, the arrows should disappear after you deposit Daemond. | ♥

That makes sense, I suppose I was trying to anticipate which stat would be affected based upon the arrows, but that never seems to hold true-from what I've noticed.

Also, unless someone has managed this, I don't know if it's possible to have 3 >N stats. Daemond's Skill & Power are >N..but when I try to work on Stamina they both either drop 1 or 2 stars. Or, it'll flip around. Power & Stamina will be >N and Skill will drop 1 star. I haven't tried this on another Pokemon yet, but I'll post the details soon enough.

♥ | ...What do you mean by ">n"? More than normal? burning_eyes *makes sense in the context--- goes with that.*

Multiple aprijuices cannot be stacked (see last paragraph). The effects of the new drink will replace any effects of the last drink. So it is normal for effects of one aprijuice to disappear when you give a pokémon a different aprijuice. Thus, it probably IS impossible to get more than normal performance in more than two stats...the only way to increase performance is through nature and aprijuice, both of which can only do one each.

At least part of the reason Daemond's stats are the way that they are is because of what his nature is. He is Sassy nature--- so naturally he has more than normal performance in Skill. Not sure why Power aprijuice would be effecting his skill, though (aprijuice made with red apricorns should decrease Stamina, not Skill, as you probably know). If it was Stamina juice, it would make more sense...

Edit: *headdesk* Sorry, I was half-asleep when I posted this. I see now that you were working on Stamina. I have no idea why I was thinking Power, and I don't know if you were using more than one aprijuice or not. sweatdrop Daemond's performance in Power and Skill are more than normal, though, you say? confused | ♥

♥ | All I can say is that aprijuice is giving me some weird effects. It seems that keeping a bit of extra juice in the bottom of the blender to preserve flavor / mildness can cause some weird side effects if you're not keeping up with what you're doing.

For instance, left over in my Apriblender was some potent Jump Juice. I don't remember much about this juice other than I made it with a lot of Grn Apricorns. It was flavor 40, mildness 255, and extremely bitter tasting (I don't remember what was said about the taste, but it didn't sound good). When I wanted to convert it to Skill Juice, I added three Blu Apricorns and two Blk Apricorns (to raise the flavor). Then I added three more Blk Apricorns and two more Blu Apricorns, which finally raised the flavor up to 100, and preceded to walk around until its mildness was 255 again. The result was Blu Skill Juice that, upon tasting, said, "A pervadingly dry taste! Barely a hint of bitterness... A disgusting aftertaste."

To get a good idea of what this juice would do, I used it on MEWTTO, an Impish Ditto I caught last night after it transformed into my Mew (hence its name lol). Before consuming the mysterious drink, MEWTTO had the following performance:

Speed: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Power: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Skill: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)
Stamina: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
Jump: ★★☆☆☆ (2/2)
Total: 11/25

Upon using the Skill Juice on MEWTTO, its Skill performance automatically went up two stars while everything else remained the same. Upon checking MEWTTO's performance summary, however, I was informed the the Skill Juice was effecting MEWTTO's Speed, Skill, and Jump performance. The odd thing was, despite being Skill Juice that was blue in color, this juice had a positive effect not only on Skill but also on Jump (the stat normally reduced by Blu Apricorns) and the negative effect was on Speed (the stat normally reduced by Grn Apricorns).

IDK if this has any bearing on people who want to add stars to more than one stat, but this is very helpful to anyone who wants to avoid the negative effects of apricorns that increase the stat needed to get that last medal. Example: using the aprijuice described above, one could increase Skill without the worry of decreasing Jump--- perfect to use on high Jump performance pokémon preparing for Lamp Jump. Or one could blend Speed Juice and turn it into Jump Juice--- good for Hurdle Dash, which requires Speed and Jump. Could be good for something. :3

>_>

Since no one else has mentioned it here, I guess I should note the taste relationships so everyone knows what will do what to what:

RED APRICORN will weaken SOUR (YLW)
YLW APRICORN will weaken DRY (BLU)
BLU APRICORN will weaken BITTER (GRN)
GRN APRICORN will weaken SWEET (PNK)
PNK APRICORN will weaken SPICY (RED)

I'm going to play around with mixing Apricorns and see what I get. Will post results if anyone is interested | ♥

♥ | IDK if anyone is still experimenting with this, but I managed to get three performance stats above average on Mewtto. It had three stars on Stamina (one above its species' average) because of its Impish nature, four stars on Speed and four stars on Skill with the negative effect on Power. I used the following Aprijuice:

Skill Juice (blue color) - Flavor 100 - Mildness 255 - "Incredibly dry! A strongly sweet taste... Eliminating spiciness..."

I used 9 BLU Apricorns, 11 PNK Apricorns, 3 GRN Apricorns, and 2 BLK Apricorn over the course of 5 blends. I used the GRN Apricorns to get rid of the "disgusting aftertaste," but I have no clue how "spiciness" ended up coming into the picture.

I'll work on seeing if I can get Uesuto, my Feraligatr (Careful nature), to have more than normal performance on Power, Skill, and Stamina at the same time. I think it might be possible, I just have to plan my blending strategy. o_o heart | ♥

Oh man I was so confused when confronted with the whole apri-juice thing. Thanks for trying to make a little sense in the chaos. xD

♥ | Dx THERE ARE SO MANY POSSIBILITIES STILL. xD

I've managed to blend aprijuice that will increase Power and Stamina without decreasing Skill. Instead it takes its toll on the Speed performance (no idea why --- I didn't use a single GRN apricorn). I would have figured it would decrease Jump considering it has "a hint of dry taste," but nooo?

---Would have kept recipe posted, but it was a wall of text.---
Just from my notes: adding BLK apricorns seem to make the juice have "a disgusting aftertaste."

Once I walk around enough / wait long enough for it to be maximum mildness, I can test it again. I used it when it was mildness 0 just to see what it would do (didn't save). It increased Power and Stamina but took three stars off of Speed. xD The harsh negative effect should decrease once it becomes milder.

Obviously, there are too many possibilities for us to cover inclusively. xD Frankly, I think there should be enough info in this thread now to help people get a good idea of how to get the aprijuices they want. I'll share recipes if I find anything super crazy after this. I can probably suggest recipes for anyone who's having no luck. heart | ♥
