Kai looked at him, not having much trust towards him for the simple reason that he was male. "We're on the run and we just happened to be going through this area." She stated simply.
Mia looked at him, not sure how to react. "You might." She said in a slightly fearful voice as she took a couple steps back so that her mother was infront of her. She then thought she heard something and looked around, spotting Cynder.

Cynder looked at Mia and ducked in the tall grass she had a playful look in her icey blue eyes.

Kai looked off towards Cynder when Mia asked her if she could go play. "Alright, but don't go far" She said as she looked back to Rex, waiting for a response.
Mia looked to her mom. "Momma, can I go play?" As soon as her mom said yes she took of running towards the other wolf. She stopped a couple feet away. "Hi" She said in her small voice.

"hi," Cynder said shyly. she was really nervous she had wanted to play but she was also really shy.

Mia smiled. She was shy and nervous around grownups, especially males, but around others that are around her age she was perfectly fine with. "I'm Mia" She said. Her voice was always so soft and small, as if she couldn't speak louder than a whisper.

Mia wagged her tail and bent her front legs so that she was in a playful position. "Wanna play?"

"Sure," she said as as she bent her front legs and wagged her tail. she thought she had finally made a friend.

Mia let out a little bark as she wagged her tail and suddenly went on her hind legs, playfully pouncing on Cynder.

Cynder barked back she was part dog after all. she playfully and carefully pounced on Mia. She was really careful because she didnt want to hurt her new friend.

Mia bounced back a little and repositioned herself. She then turned slightly and ran around Cynder.

Cynder started to run after Mia, chasing her around until they they were both dizzy.

Mia giggled as she rolled onto the ground and watched the sky spin. "Wow. I'm dizzy"
