Antarctica Ani blinked and followed him, not wanting to be left alone in this mansion of horrors. She could have taken the chance to leave, but, something goaded her forward, to follow the man as he moved with quicker, longer strides than she could. He was well over six feet tall, she topped out at around five-three at best.
Out of breath when he finally stopped, she stared at what he seemed so eager to show him. Inside this glass house of sorts, it was hot, very very warm, and filled to bursting with just one kind of flower. Sunflowers. Rows and rows of sunflowers . . .
Antarctica openly gawked at them, staring at them. For someone who had never seen so many, it was quite a shock. She reached up to touch one, watching it bob and nod at her.
This is happiness . . . this is love . . .
She looked at him, surprised to see how gentle he was towards these flowers and her heart sank. These flowers. He loved these flowers . . .
"They're beautiful, Ivan. I can't grow them at my home." she said, softly. "But . . . now I have to go home."
Backing out of the green house, she slipped back through the door and tried to remember the way to get out, to navigate the corridors to find the main foyer.
Oh hell, she thought . .. Anikta Byrdland

The Ice Prince ✯ Ivan Braginsky ❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆ Ivan was before the door in a flash, violet eyes glowing as he gazed down to her, a darkness seeming to overhang his eyes and make him appear even taller, a veritable demon as the air seemed to lose just a touch of the warmth.
"Ani does not want happiness?" He asked, voice soft and childish, with just a hint of violence tinting it. Ivan wants to show Ani all his flowers and teach her how to be happy and how to love. Ivan wants to show Ani everything. Ivan can show Ani Toris and Eduard and Raivis and all can live together and be happy forever and ever..."
His voice softened. "Ivan only wants happiness, but all run from Ivan. Ivan is scary. Ivan just wants to not be alone..."

Antarctica Antarctica was out of breath, the air out of her lungs completely. Swallowing hard, she nodded up at him. She hated being small, hated still being weak from almost melting. She couldn't fight him off. Best to, once again, play along, play pretend . . .
Yes, Ivan," she said. "I'm sorry. I'll . . . stay with you."
forever and ever . . .
"As long as you like. I . . . want to see more of your flowers, but, I'm tired. I walked all the way here. I'd like to sleep, somewhere."
Somewhere with a window. Broken bones be damned, I'll jump and run . . .
"You don't scare me. You're not scary."
Hesitating, she reached out a hand, palm up, as if inviting him to hold her hand. Beauty killed the beast, she thought. He might be insane, but he was still a man.
"I-I have games I want to play too. I can teach you to dance . . ."
By now, she was truely, surely, grasping at straws . . . Anikta Byrdland
