Hikari snapped the notebook shut and stood, looking around for Juri. She adjusted the strap of her bookbag and yawned. Maybe if she hadn't spent so much time on fencing yesterday, maybe she wouldn't be so sore. Her hands still ached... seven hours of practice, not including stretching... seven hours... It was worth it though, she won just about every match. Guess that's why she was called Victoria in England...

Ai walked across the grounds, the music in her hands shuffling through her fingers as she read them. Several heads turned towards her when she passed, mainly boys. She would flash them a beautiful smile before she left them behind. Ai would sigh when she thought about the boy who sat against the wall. He looked really tired, but he was really cute... Smiling with an airheadedness around her, she looked for her first class.

"Juri! I've been looking every where for you!" Hikari's finger tapped her shoulder. Hikari was younger than Juri, then again, she's younger than everyone in the school, the only fourteen year old. "I've got English first, then Phys Ed. How 'bout you?" She smiled. Usually, she only smiled for Juri. No one else could make her smile in the same way. It was like some sort of distant sisterhood.

Kiyoshi walked past the receptionist desk and waited for the woman to give him his schedule. He took it and thanked her and looked at it. He saw that he had a free block first and then mythology. "Oh god. Not that class." he said. He had to endure the teacher that always called him by his nickname. Everytime he enters the class she always says 'Ares. Nice of you to join us.' or something like that. After a few classes she always holds him back and talks to him while looking at him from top to bottom. This has lead him to the suspicion that she likes him. "Of all the teachers to be teaching that class. Why her?" he asked himself as he walked outside and started to practice his fighting skills.

Sachi regretted entering the class early; the joyful cries of the students outside the window seemed to pull her outside. Picking up the tan puppy, she left her bag at her desk and walked back outside, occasionally bumping into the cheerleaders again. She saw a boy, sweating even in the chilly morning weather, practicing martial arts underneath the shade of a tree. Venturing towards the boy, she cried out happily over his grunts, "Hi! I'm Sachi...Sachi Fujiiro. What's your name?" She held out her hand, happily awaiting his answer. She didn't know anyone at this school, seeing as it was her first year.

"Yeah, we probably should." She shook her head, sending her reddish hair flying. "It's because you're like a sponge; you retain stuff and remember it." Juri laughed a little. "Just you wait...you'll pass me and graduate four years early!" She took her friend's hand and squeezed it. "Going too fast is sometimes unhealthy," she said quietly. "You don't get to experience the things that you would experience in a certain level or age. Slow down. You have your whole life in front of you."

Kiyoshi stopped practicing and looked at the girl. He could tell she was a first year and that she had gotten to class a little too early. "Kiyoshi Mihashi." he said as he shook her hand. He walked over to his bag and took out a bottle of water and took a sip. "So, you must have been either early to class or bored to come out here and talk." he said as he wiped the sweat off his face with a towel that he carried around in his bag. He slung his bag over his shoulder and waited for her answer.

Sachi smiled, hardly offended by his comment. "Toshi needed a walk and loves to walk in the morning," She gestured towards the dog who dashed in and out through the boy's legs. Giggling, she looked back to him, "That's Toshi. By the way..." Seeing as he had called her a first year, she assumed that he was older and knew the campus better than her, "Do you know where the archery range is?" Brushing back her hair, she studied him closely as she always did with every stranger she talked to which, needless to say, was a lot.

"Of course I'll come. Why wouldn't I?" Juri smiled a little at the caricature. "If he finds it you're in so much trouble..." She held in a giggle. "I remember now. Well, even if he looks funny, he's easy on homework. My history teacher is really cute though. Just wait till you see."
