Alex skidded to a stop and turned around only to grab Alice. They needed to get out of there quickly. He swung her on his back and held onto her legs as he ran faster and faster. The exit was coming up. "Freedom!" He yelled out...but sadly the doors slam shut and looked itself.

Alice held her skirt down calmly as she watched from over his shoulder with a grimace. The small windows slammed shut around them and the light began to flicker on and off. The witch sighed.
"This can't be good...."

Alex put Alice down and pulled out his weapon (in the pic), "No this can't, but im getting out of here whether they like it or not!" He slashed at the door about five times and saw that it was ready to fall apart...but the sliced pieces reverted back to normal! "Damnit!" He said his anger raising.

Alice flipped through the pages of her book before stopping on a particular page. The girl's muttered something in another language before raising her hand at the door; A barrage of steel edged playing cards materialized from her hand. Half of door was destroyed in a matter of seconds...yet the pieces just reverted to their old form. The witch shrugged.
"I'm not sure what we should do."

"Well there is only one thing we can do," Alex said grabbing Alice bridal style. He ran full speed toward the nearest window and burst through it with his back so that he didn't hurt Alice. And in fact it worked...it actually worked! Then Alex came to a stop as he crashed onto the grass some glass stabbing into his back.

Alice squeaked and crawled over to him starting to panic. The poor guy landed on the glass that had embedded itself into his back - it would have to be cut out. A very painful process.
"Are you alright?!"
A stupid question,she thought.

Alex sat up slowly and nodded, "I'll be fine...i'm just glad we got out of there alive." He tried to stand up but failed to do so. He winced at the pain. Alex took his shirt off and looked at Alice, "How bad is it?"

Alice winced. It looked like minced meat kind of. The witch rubbed his undamaged shoulder's reassuringly before she flipped through her spell book. She had kept a good grip on it luckily.
"Its..Not that bad. I can fix it...I think.."
She mumbled.

After conjuring several talking flowers and a rose bush,Alice finally succeeded. She handed Alex a strange cookie with the words 'eat me' iced on top. She sat next too him,a very serious expression on her face.
"That should heal you up..."
She started politely.
"I'm sorry that I don't have some kind of epic healing spell though."

Alice gently pulled the glass out of his back. Since the flesh was healing the shards were being expelled very, very slowly. She tossed the bloody pieces into a bush not far away.
"Are you feeling alright?"

"Yes i am, thank you." He said smiling at her more. He then wondered what would have happened if he was with someone who didn't know how to heal...

A cold breeze ruffled the trees around them. The asylum seemed to be glaring at them from beneath its cover of shade. Alice regarded the establishment for a second before standing up and dusting off her skirt.
"Well, wasn't that an adventure! I say we should go now. It's starting to get dark."
She exclaimed. Asylums were never good places; she shouldn't have let Alex enter in the first place.

"Alright....lets head out then!" He said excitedly just like before. He walked back to the rode forgetting to put his shirt back on. He didn't really mind so he just left it off.
