Taking a step forwards Rina bit her bottom lip, and looked at the hummer. "Well..." Taking fews steps away from him she felt her face go worried. "Please, don't get hurt over someone like me." She said, thn turning. Her run was more of a jogg. She didnt want to leave him alone. But last time she didnt listen to something like this, she was almost killed. And now someone's life was on the line.
Getting to the next street over Rina stopped. Looking back no one had been behind her so far. Closing her eyes she listened hard. Keenan... Please bo okay... ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

"I'm the nightmare, for nightmares which humans can't face." "Don't worry about me. Like I said I have nothing....except for you, my friend." Asi smiled, this time Rina listened but now he had a group of thugs filing out of their car and starting to surround him, he could easily transform but what if Rina came back or she was still able to see him. "Hey punk, think you're brave for protecting your girlfriend? Well you don't know s**t! You're as stupid as a rock." One of the guys taunted, he had a poorly shaved stubble on his chin and wreaked of alcohol. Shaking his head and turning to the guy between him and getting to Rina, grabbing him by the arm and punching him in the stomach, the guy fell to his knees and Asi ran after Rina with the other thugs chasing him and their pissed off leader. Quickly Asi caught up to Rina and smiled for a moment, giving her a quick wave to reassure her before grabbing her arm and ran, slowly at first until he found a pace that matched hers. "Keep running and don't look back. If you hear gunshots duck and roll out of the way, if you're too slow I'll push you. No offense." Current form:  "I give fear to the demons to liberate one human."

As Keenan came back into view a relieved look went over her face. Till he grabbed her and told her to run. Chasing behind him was alittle hard, considering her legs werent very long, and she was already tired from school. But she took his words to heart and did what he said. She heard shouts and calls, but she didnt look back.
As they ran Rina stummbled, almost falling, but she caught her balance. She wasnt going to quit so easily. Once the shouting was out of ear shot, and Rina was out of breath she squeezed Keenan's hand. Pretty much saying, 'Can we PLEASE stop.' ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

(Gaah! AAccidentally quoted the wrong post!) "I'm the nightmare, for nightmares which humans can't face."Asi nodded and stopped when Rina asked, pulling her behind a large concrete wall that decorated the park. "I think we can rest here." He said between panting breaths as he leaned against the wall and slid down to sit, picking at the grass lawn as he tried to think of what now. "Umm, do you like cats? Sorry if its random but I need to take my mind off what happened today." Current form: "I give fear to the demons to liberate one human."

Panting Rina stayed on her feet and leaned on the wall. Looking around the park it was pretty empty, but around this time of day, everyone was still home relaxing. Looking down at Keenan she nodded. "Yeah actually. And I dont blame you." She said slightly rolling her eyes. Sliding down the wall she plopped down next to him, her breathing still uneven and ragged.
"Black cats are my favorite. Some say that their bad luck," Rina said, looking up at the sky. "But then again, my favorite number is 13. I dont know, maybe I put all the bad things that happen on myself." She said, shrugging. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

He asked before shifting his weight, and smiled to himself, this was the first time he actually talked to Rina. Asi was so happy it felt like sunlight was radiating from him, turning slightly to see if the gang were still around he peeked over the side of the wall and saw them running across the street and down an alley. "We should get going before they come back. Trust me, you're luckier than you think, you survived today didn't you? And yesterday and the day before that. I have a feeling everyone has someone looking out for them." Current form: "I give fear to the demons to liberate one human."

Wobbling to her feet again she shrugged. "Well yeah... I guess so." She said looking behind her, but not past the wall. She didnt really wanna know what, or who happened to be beyond it. Looking around she saw a path, leading to the woods, then out to a shopping center. One she had been down many times. Grabbing Keenan's hand she smiled over to him. "This way." She said breaking into a small jogg. "And I used to have a cat, but he ran away afew years ago." She said, her voice shaking as she ran along. "I havent seen him since." Rina explained, her tone sort of hused. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

"I'm the nightmare, for nightmares which humans can't face."Asi followed Rina, well he had little choice when she grabbed his hand. He already knew her cat had 'ran away' in reality it was scared by some kids who weren't very nice, he had rescued it but it never wanted to go back, seems the kids had been doing some cruel things for a while back then. "Maybe' you'd like a new cat?" He offered since she seemed rather sad. "Also are you hungry? I don't have any money with me but we should eat something, or you should at least." As they kept going they broke out into the shopping center. Stores lined the parking lott and Rina looked around. "This way now." She said, pulluing him, but slowing her pace alittle. "And I've been thinking of buying another one... But I'm scared it'll leave again..." She said softly, as they walked up to a pet shop. Smiling lightly she looked back at Keenan. "I like to come here, play with the animals. I wish I could getta job here, but I have to wait till I'm 17." She said with a shrugg, pushing the door open. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

"I'm the nightmare, for nightmares which humans can't face.""I'm seventeen, I could apply for a job here and if you want you can buy some supplies and such by discount. I'll pay the rest, don't worry." Asi smiled and looked at the cockatiel cage. "I like cockatiels as well, they're very cute and smart. But I don't like them being in a cage. Did you know they live on average twenty years. I'd hate to be in a cage all that time." He sighed before looking at a litter of kittens in a petting pen. He picked up a black and gold calico and gave it a scratch on the head before looking at Rina and smiling. He really was happy he could talk to her now, and wandered why he never used a human form to talk to her before. Current form: "I give fear to the demons to liberate one human."

Cocking her head to the side rina had a confused look on her face. "Its alright... Really. You know, worrying about someone you just met, is kinda odd." But she figured Keenan was just trying to be nice.
Looking from the bird to the kitten Rina smiled softly. It was so cute, And the golden tones made it look even cuter. Walking over to Keenan and the kitten she pet its head lightly. Membories of the past coming back into her head. Placing a kiss on the top of the kittens head she sighed. "I miss that. Having something you can love, and they'll love you back... No matter what you do to them." ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

No strings attached, it happens sometimes but why not all the time?" Asi sighed as he lifted a paw on the kitten with his free hand and felt the soft paw pad. "I wonder why puppies and kittens paw pads are always so soft but when the grow up it gets hards and often I see cracks, I'm pretty sure that's not good." He pondered before looking at Rina and blushing. "Sorry if that was a weird question." Current form: "I give fear to the demons to liberate one human."

Rina nodded. "Yeah, thats true. But in life, you always wanna do things for yourself. If you don't life passes by and you awlways ask what if." Rina shrugged. "Or at least thats how I see it."
Picking up the other kittens paw she ran her thumb ober the pad. "Well no, but this of it like this. When babies are born, there soft, delicate." Moving over to the petting pet, Rina picked up a black kittin with a white patch on its tail. "But as we get older, we learn to crawl, walk, and then run. So its only natural for our skin to get tougher so it protects us right."
Looking over at Keenan she smiled. "Animals have the same thing. Like fur and feathers. Its all for protection." She said. "And cracks only happen if people dont take care of their pets paws. You have to be careful exprcally with dogs because theirs tear more easily."
Rina was into animals, so she knew alot about them. It interested her almost more then music. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

Asi smiled before trying to think of a term for the study of animals, and giggled at his conclusion. He spun around to take a look at everything. "I think I will work here! If you won't feel jealous that is, I'm sure as friend rules go, taking a friend's dreams is breaking one of them." He looked outside and realized it was getting dark. "I think we should head home soon before it gets darker and the gangs all come out to play." Current form: "I give fear to the demons to liberate one human."

Rina shrugged. "Its alright with me." She said putting a kiss on the top of the kittens head and putting it back in the pen. With a sad smile on her face she waved at the kitten as it mew-ed at her. "Bye kitty..." Looking back to Keenan she nodded.
"Yeah, sounds good. Mom's probaly freaking out." She said with a light sigh. She might be in trouble. Afterall she hadnt been replying to any of her mom's messages.
"What about you?" Your parents gonna be upset?" ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛
