Ashlynn nodded, and a sad smiled graced her angel like face. "Please bid me no bad feelings Benjamin. I was a slave when I was younger, just like you were. So I understand what it's like. And I know how you must have been tortured and hurt." Then she gestured around her to the house and smiled, her eyes brightening. "But I promise that you will never go through anything like that ever again. "You will never be starved, nor will you be abused in any way, shape or manner under my roof." She smiled kindly and pushed some of her blond hair back.

Ashlynn had already known that he would cry and was already up and out of her seat. She walked over to him and brushed his hair back lovingly. Then she knealed down and opened her arms so that he could choose whether or not he wanted to receive comfort from her that was physical. She would never take advantage, but she was a caring person and it hurt her to see someone as sweet as Benjamin in such distress. She wanted to wipe away his tears and hellp him by erasing the hurt from him. So with honest eyes and her arms open to him, she smiled and wondered what he would do.

Ashlynn's pale cheeks grew hot as a rose colored pink crept into them. Then she let loose a small laugh and smiled, wiping away the tears from under his eyes. "I know what it was, I would think it's gratitude," she said softly. She ran a hand through his blond hair softly and slowly and then placed a hand on his cheek comfortingly. "Don't worry Benjamin," she said as she leaned close and then kissed him on the forehead while standing up. "If you ever need to talk to me, or be comforted, just call me and i'll come."

Ashlynn stretched her pale, lean body and looked to Benjamin. It made her heart feel warmer as she watched him, so comfortable and finally so happy. She loved that she could help him. He was such a sweet, kind and loving boy. Her hands balled into fists when she thought of his other mistresses. How could they ever hurt him? Benjamin was as innocent as a small puppy, and they just seemed to take adavantage. It made her sick to her stomach and she sighed, letting a hand drift up to her forehead and shade her eyes as she composed herself. No one in their right mind would treat someone so horridly.

Luna then appeared by Ashlynns side and gently grabbed on to her hand and yawned. "Ashy... can you read me my bedtime story now," she said quietly.

Ashlynn smiled and then scooped the small girl up in her arms and kissed her on her cheeks, multiple times in quick sucsesion until Luna was laughing. Then she stopped and smiled, cradling the girl to her. "Alrighty Luna. Would you like to sleep in my room again tonight?" Luna absentmindedly nodded her head and yawned again as her eyes were beginning to slide shut. Ashlynn smiled and then began to walk out into the living room and then up the stairs slowly.

Ashlynn had read no more than a few sentences when Luna had drifted off to sleep. She silently bent over and kissed her on the forehead, and then pulled the blankets up for her. Then she walked to the doorway and shut the light off. When she was reading she thought she had heard Benjamin climb the stairs. She tip-toed over to his room and then peeked her head in and saw him sleeping. She smiled and then walked over quietly, kissed him on the forehead and pulled the covers up for him as well, and then turned to leave.

When she had walked downstairs, she settled into her chair and watched the fire consuming the wood and felt her own eyes begin to drift ... until she was staring at the back of her eyelids.

Ashlynn woke up quickly, her head ramming back into her chair as she heard Benjamin crying out. Night terrors.. she got up as fast as possible in a partial daze and hurried up the stairs in her silk night robe. She raced towards him room and almost slipped, and saw Benjamin crying with his head between his legs.

She rushed towards him and sat beside him and then pulled him towards her gently and began to brush his blond hair back, softly and rhythmically while singing a small lullaby to him. "It's okay Benjamin," she whispered. "Everything's going to be okay, I promise. No one will ever hurt you like that again."

"Of course you didn't Ben!" Ashlynn said. "Please don't ever think that, okay?" She rubbed his back and then looked to the bed and then outside. It had to still only be around two or so in the morning. "Did you want me to stay with you? Till the morning, just in case you wake up again?" She looked at him, her eyes showing that she was worried for him, and wanted to make sure that he was okay.
