 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose just laughed. "Don't matter to me. Anything new is worth hearin' at least once. Care to at least tell me a name I can use or shall I just keep callin' you stranger?" She asked playfully. The way she worded it gave him the choice to use his real name or not. She knew some travelers preferred to use fake names.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose chuckled lightly. "I'm Rose. Rose Brooks. Pleasure to meet you. Make you a deal, if you want. You said you know all sorts of rumors and lies right? Well, spin me a tale. Entertain me. In return, I'll buy you a drink or two of your choice." The girl was always one for a good story, true or not. She waited to see what Jason thought of her idea. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jason's grin just broadened, "A story hmm? Well, I s'pose I could spin a tale well enough, whether you like it not, believe it or not, well, that's up to you."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose tilted her head slightly, in a kind of bow. "That's all I'm asking. Spin me a tale, weave me a web, let the story unfold. I won't ask whether it's true or not, I just merely wish for something interesting to listen to." She chuckled and sipped at her drink, waiting patiently. She was interested to see what Jason came up with. He looked like he could tell an interesting tale. Telling fact from fiction might be hard, but she didn't care. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"All right." Jason said, thinking for a bit, then he nodded and grinned even broader, which seemed impossible. "Ever heard the tale of ol' Firegun?" He asked easily.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose raised her eyebrow as Jason's grin widened. She hadn't thought that grin could get wider, but apparently it could. She shook her head slowly. "Can't say I have. Name rings a bell, but I can't remember why." She shrugged, flicking her hair back behind her shoulder. "Probably thought it wasn't important to my ranch. In which case I just dismiss it." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jason's grin stayed broad as he began to speak, "Well, he's an outlaw see, supposedly good at what he does too. A scoundrel, a thief, and apparently a murderer, though some say he never kills unless in self-defense. He's good at what he does though, because he's smart, quick, and if rumors are true....he has control over fire. Able to change it and use it as easy as you or I uses our hands."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose listened interestedly, nodding occasionally. "Fascinating." She murmured, cocking her head to the side as she thought. "To use fire like that. That would definitely be something." She tapped her fingers lightly against the bar top. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Rose's hand moved to tap her chin thoughtfully. "Oh man.....The horses I could buy with a whole train of gold....." She said distantly, her eyes gazing into the wooden grain. "Oh, I could totally get the stud horse from Oceanbreeze's ranch....." Her gaze suddenly snapped up to Jason as she pulled herself back to reality. "Sorry about that. Didn't mean to wander off like that. So, what kinda drink can I get ya?" She asked with a smile. "Story like that deserves a drink." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jason smirked lightly, he could think of a few things, but he wasn't a fool, he was a gentleman. "Nothing I can think of." He said lightly.
